A few years ago, I saw Lital in NYC for some broken capillary removal around my nose. She was very sweet and welcoming, and the office was clean. However, once she got going, U started becoming nervous. She spent too much time on one side of my nose. While I expected some blistering after the procedure was done, this was bad. She had no first aid supplies ready and ran downstairs to the local deli to get ice. A week later, I had a bad infection despite using antibiotic cream as directed. I emailed her to let her know what happened and asked for a refund. She said she needed photos, which I sent her. I never heard from her again. 5 years later, I have a deep scar down the left side of my nose that has never faded. Why am I posting this now? Because I recently saw my dermatologist for something else and he asked about the scar and I realized I never left a review warning people. I went to Lital to get a fibroblast treatment on my eyelids due to droopiness. I have to say, I absolutely love her! She is lovely, kind, smart, and really knows her stuff. She treated me like a family and I instantly connected with her. She even extended her treatment to other areas on my face to help lift my eyes more, which would've been another 400 dollars at least! As for the fibroblast itself, it's still too soon to tell but due to my skin being stubborn, i don't see much of a difference so far, but it can also be affected by my lack of sleep (as my droopiness worsens when I don't get enough sleep). Either way, everyone is different and not every treatment works for everyone but this is definitely worth a try before committing to surgery. I walked into Light Touch Laser knowing one thing- I wanted to be less hairy. Lital made all my dreams come true. First, she was honest and up front about the laser process. I was ready to laser every last hair on my body, but she refused to even discuss the hair on my arms, saying I wasn't a good candidate for it with the hair I had. The fact that she didn't try to sell me the whole menu but instead addressed what was in my best interest had me sold. I wound up doing my bikini area. It's possibly the best decision I've ever made. Lital is super sweet, funny, and accommodating. I've had 5 out of the 6 sessions so far and Lital always brightens my mood during what would otherwise be an awkward process with anyone else. She provides stress balls (it is painful the first few sessions) and talks to you during the session to distract you. The hair growth has diminished significantly after laser; i'd say I have maybe 15% of the hair growing back that I used to have, not a big deal to shave, and it grows back so slowly it's super easy to manage. The reason is 4 out of 5 stars is because I am still not done with my sessions. So I will keep you updated once I am done with all of my sessions! I have had 2 seasons done (4 more to go) in my bikini, under arm, and legs. I'll start by telling you something you have probably heard before... yes, laser hair removal hurts! They also contacted me via the wrong name - somehow they emailed me as "Rebecca" - and provided no information or referral, only a cursory "we do not provide this service." As a business it is a primary responsibility to keep your website and advertising up to date so that you do not mislead and misinform customers. If you have radically changed the services you provide - like you suddenly do not provide most of the services you advertise - there is a website update that should be made immediately! I should have been forewarned that this was likely to be a disappointing experience in terms of accuracy and attention given that in the section of the website where they advertise their laser facials they laud themselves for offering a "verity of facials" when they mean a "variety of facials." I came here for a solution to in-grown hairs on my neck, which is (was) an inevitable consequence of society's determination that men shave for work. Shave today, small red dotted pain tomorrow. Lital was the right person to go to. I did shop around extensively, including looking at some of the other top-rated laser folks both on Yelp and Google Reviews. What I found was that they varied not in their positive reviews (a few others have equally high marks), but how flexible they were with pricing [as I had done some laser back in London and didn't want a full package], and also at how personal they were. Lital shone for both of these, as she doesn't funnel you from a receptionist area to another room, to another person, to fill out a form, to meet a different practitioner every week. This is her business, her baby, and she treats it as such, and she likes being hands-on. She has a lot of experience, so that's in your interest. She'll talk you through what your requirements are, make (sometimes strong) suggestions, and try to ensure that you're happy. I've never done Laser before, but I did some (limited) research before going to her, calling a few of the other highly marked Laser Spas around town and having a consultation with her before going, but it was clear from the beginning that this was the place to get laser done for me. She was really clear, transparent, and informative from the very beginning - even down to explaining her prices as compared to her competitors (generally her prices are significantly better than the other highly market laser spas that I researched)! But beyond prices, she just has a really personal touch. She welcomes me in like a long lost friend every time I come to see her and she humors me as I wince from the pain of the laser. Normally that wouldn't be enough for a review, but frankly I was incredibly impressed and if I had the money to spare I'd totally go for the treatment too. (To be clear, her prices aren't unreasonable; they're perfectly normal for this sort of thing, which ain't cheap.) I'd actually emailed a few places asking about price structure, and letting them know I'd had a few treatments already. Lital was the only one who seemed to read my email. The others pretty much just copied and pasted their prices into a reply; Lital wrote that since I'd done this before, I should come in for the free consultation and she could advise me from there.
