I've been going to Skin Laser Studios since earlier this year and I absolutely LOVE Marta. I've been dealing with problem acne skin for most of my adult life and after my first facial here, I noticed a HUGE difference. My skin hasn't felt this great in years! Marta genuinely cares about your skin. She doesn't try to sell products & will always give you samples to try before you commit to anything. I have been going to Martha for over a year now for laser facial. My skin was in terrible condition when i first went to her. I have been suffering from acne since childhood, tried many different things but nothing really helped. After almost one year getting facials with Martha my skin is unrecognizable. Most of my acne is gone, skin tone improved and i hardly need to wear any makeup any more. Everyone notices how much it has improved. Facial usually lasts for 1 or 1.5 hour, depending how bad your condition is. She does microdermabrision first, followed with steaming and extractions, afterwards laser treatment, finished with cooling mask. The spa is lovely, the decor is a mix of vintage and modern feminine and very clean! Celine was very professional and had a great sense of humor, I felt very comfortable with her and she was very patient with my low pain tolerance to laser hair removal in certain areas, but it was definitely worth it and I can say after years of shaving and waxing this is the best result ever! I've seen Marta 3 times now, as a referral from another client of hers. If you don't have someone to give you a referral -- let this be it. I visited the first time to get help with my acne scars on my cheeks and chin. It's been exactly a year now, and I just completed my 3rd session. There are several reasons I have loved this experience: No pressure. She doesn't say "come back in 4 weeks and get another session" or "you need another 3 times" etc. She lets me decide where my skin is at, how it heals, and when is right to come back. This lack of pressure is what, I'm sure, leads her to so many loyal clients. Her attitude and knowledge. In addition to the lack of pressure she puts on me to come back / frequency, she is funny, real, down to earth, and knowledgeable. I feel like I'm in great hands with Marta at all times. She knows what is up with each process, each laser, and can offer advice on pretty much anything -- even if she doesn't perform it. She's so genuinely interested in the craft that she knows about services she doesn't even perform, i.e. "hey how do you feel about cool sculpting?" Lastly, and most importantly, it works. Like really really well. I'm on (hopefully) one of my last laser sessions for this particular issue, and it's looking PRISTINE in comparison to when I first came in. I was introduced to this studio by my roommate, who has been getting facials from Marta for about 3 months now. You can easily see a difference in your skin even after your first session. I had one a month for two months, then one every two months, and am down to every three-four now, with hopes for only needing one once or twice a year. They burned me because they were using the wrong laser and too high of a setting for my skin tone. They said they would make it up to me. Gave me some half used lotion and samples and told me to let them know which one worked--they were experimenting on me? I tried calling to follow up and no one returned my call. Unprofessional and they sanitize with windex! It took over a month for my skin to clear up and I had to go to a derm to get a prescription. Now going to Pulse laser and so far effective and not traumatizing. read more

I got a brazilian laser treatment here after being recommended by a friend. Marta is absolutely wonderful. She is very knowledgeable about the procedure and makes sure you are very comfortable. She explains everything so that you know what to expect. After 5 treatments, I am smooth and bare. Thank you, Marta! The only downside would be the appointment booking process. I thank my lucky stars every day that I found skin laser studios. Before coming into skin laser, I was uneducated on the topic of skin, let alone my skin. I was referred to Marta and April through a friend about 6 months ago. I have had skin issues since I was a teenager and have tried every pill and cream known to man, including Accutane. The Accutane cleared me up for the most part for about a year and then it all came back. I am almost 30 and so sick of fighting with my skin. It would get to the point that I would go through depressions about it. Anyways. I was referred to Marta and April and immediately made an appointment. After my first session with Marta I left feeling like a new person. Even with all of the different treatments she did on my face I left with no redness at all.
