Molly is the best photographer Julian and I could have ever hoped for on our wedding day. She is full of fun, energy, and great creative ideas for poses and detail shots. She is a fabulous communicator both via email and in person when shooting. And, best of all, she is super quick on turning over photos despite how busy she is getting to be. We met Molly after getting a special deal on Amazon Local which gave us a great bargain - an hour of photos and we got to keep the full sized digital files (which she sent a link to online). We did a photo shoot with my wife and one year old son. Molly picked some really great locations, and she worked very well with my baby to get smiling, laughing and looking cute. The pictures were bright, vivid portraits of us with a couple candids. We got a ton of shots back from Molly (close to a hundred), and having the full sized digital files have us a ton of flexibility in sharing, printing, etc. Many other photographers require you to pay $5-10 for each digital file after you've paid for the session (which is a little bit of a gotcha to me). We were so impressed with the way the pictures turned out that we hired Molly for our son's first birthday party (which was a big traditional Korean first birthday). Molly was once again charming, fun and easy to work with. We can't wait to see all the pictures from this one! Molly is, hands down, the best photographer with whom I've had the pleasure of working. The first time I met her was for my daughter's second birthday photos in July. Molly was incredibly patient with my very shy/hesitant toddler. Her patience and perseverance paid off and we got AMAZING photos of her! She was on time and very professional. In a matter of days, we had all the edited photos she'd taken! I was so impressed by that experience that I decided to use her again for our family photos in November. I was not disappointed! Again, Molly was very patient with my two kids (2.5 years and 9 months old) and did everything she could to get them to warm up to her! She worked with our home and found the perfect lighting for the pictures. Our baby was cooperating too so it was a match made in heaven. She was very flexible with the form of payment. It is unfortunate that Molly and I had a disagreement about contracted time and fees the night before my daughters one year party. I booked Molly after finding her on CL and did a test shoot with her and my daughter for her ten month shoot, Molly did a pretty good job, i was very pleased for the price ($100), such a fabulous deal and was able to get so many great shots from that shoot to enlarge into many reprints, canvases and used for a variety of things for my daughters one year party, including a guestbook filled with pictures from the shoot. (I even boasted about the fact that i found a new up and coming photog who was super affordable to others who i knew used a pro for family pics/newborn shoots) Fast forward two months later to my daughters one year party at Maggianos in Costa Mesa Aug 20103 - and not a single shot that i can say i LOVE or any shots quite frankly that look like a pro shot them, granted i only paid $225 for the two hours ($250 minus the $25 discount for being a FB fan) booked but really i felt like she was unprofessional by not doing the very best job she could, a lot of friends mentioned the photos looked like any one of us could have taken them. We even have random shots where you see her sitting around and just holding her camera not bothering to take shots or moving around to get the "shot" I emailed Molly about my frustration, i was shocked that the ten month shoot and the one year party were so different, she said she did the best she could and did offer a small session - that was nice of her, but quite frankly i am so upset that my daughters one year party wasnt captured in a professional manner that really nothing she can do would make up for it. here is a link to some of the BETTER ones, you can judge for yourself: https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.10152150791683906.1073741835.716158905&type=1&l=cd6af8cf31 She explained it was all because of lighting, thats why they didnt turn out great. In the end, she will probably do a good job for you so long as you dont upset her, she is affordable and because of the lack of experience she is affordable, its a risk you can take if its not a special event, but be very careful about capturing that moment that you cant get back or recreate. I still like her newborn shots a lot, i was really hoping she could be my family photog for years to come, unfortunately my cheap nature and her negative attitude just couldnt make it work. She was very fun to work with and was willing to do whatever we wanted. However, we didn't even need to tell her what we wanted because she covered it all. Great photographer with even greater photos!! I first contacted Molly for my pregnancy pictures. She was very accommodating,since I called her last minute toward week 35-36. It was the end of July. I was huge and it was super hot. She took shots of me and my husband in 2 different location. She did not linger with the time since I was very uncomfortable and we got so many great pictures out of it. We then decided to have a newborn session with her. She came with props and took such wonderful pictures you would never know that my baby was crying 99.9% of the session and would not pose unless we rocked her and tricked her with the pacifier. It was the most exhausting 2 hours of our lives but Molly once again pulled it off with a smile and made us feel great. We love Molly and the pictures so much! I found Molly on Craigslist, looking for a reasonably priced photographer to take pictures of my newborn nephew. At first I was a bit wary, because- well, it's Craigslist, but from my first email to Molly, I could tell she was trustworthy. Molly's prices are definitely reasonable and you get more than what you would get from some overpriced photographer. Molly spent about 2 hours taking pictures of my nephew, and was extremely patient when he was crying (which was most of the time). Even though he was in a bad, bad mood, Molly managed to capture great pictures of him. Molly was our wedding photographer. I saw her shot online and love her creativeness. She shot our engagement photos on the beach and Malibu and they were absolutely stunning. The beach was PACKED but she made it look like we were alone on an isolated beach. It was amazing. The wedding photos were fun and creative and she also did traditional family shots. She made all of us look good. We also had beautiful candid shots of guests having fun at the wedding. The wedding was a blur, it went so fast, and I loved reliving it by looking at all Molly's shots. Molly is great! I found her when looking for a photographer to do a newborn shoot. I wasn't able to schedule until my daughter was about 6 weeks old already and a lot of photographers I looked into charged outrageous amounts and many were not even willing to do it at that point (since she was older than 2 weeks). Molly had no problems with it and was still able to get tons of great shots. We did my daughters 6 month photos with her as well and they came out amazing. I love how her photos look real and how she doesn't need to use a lot of cheesy props. Her prices are so reasonable too and she offers great deals on her Facebook page. I just downloaded the photos from my daughter's birthday party and, as expected, they were lovely. I first met Molly a few years ago, when my sisters-in-law and I decided to hire a family photographer for our mother-in-law's birthday. WOW!! Molly is a my photo superstar! I purchased a session with her through LivingSocial.... and didn't have a clue what to expect. I was actually kinda nervous not knowing anything about her before buying the online deal. One phone conversation with her put all my doubts away. She was so sweet and accommodating and took a lot of time to answer all my questions. We met at the park of my choice and she was early and ready to go! We planned to take some family photos with my husband and two year old daughter as well as some maternity shots. The vibe was so relaxed and natural and she worked wonders on our crabby daughter who had just woken up from a nap. She was so patient with her and got her to laugh and smile. She captured some amazing candid moments of the three of us, as well as some beautifully posed shots, all while giving great direction and even stopping to fix my hair when it wasn't looking right.
