    Ford GT and GT40 cars

M1 concourse American Speed Festival 2022/2023. One of the worst places to see cars run. Spectating is not worth the bother concerning cars on track. Nice amount of vintage race cars. Concrete jungle, any sun out and you're toasted to well done really quickly. Remote parking??? A joke. Parked and waited 45 minutes for a shuttle. Some people were waiting longer than me and began to dive away, I was going to leave also then suddenly there was the shuttle. When on site you see a positively HUGE amount of open land that could be bulldozed, graded and used for parking. I Saw it last year and wondered why they don't spend a few bucks on leveling and grading that open land so onsite parking could work. last time vowed to not come back at $50 per ticket. This year $25 per ticket and I was there for maybe 1.5 hrs and left as I was overheating. Whoever designed this facility got it so wrong it is laughable. I love going to real vintage races. Used to live in wa state and attended so many wonderful vintage events at pacific raceway. Sad this place is what it is. I think it's all about the invited car owners and garage owners and their experience and the spectators like us regular people, our experience is an afterthought. Love the vintage race cars but this place, even now at $25 a pop for tickets, is barely worth the bother. Won't be back to get heat stroked and see cars doing parade laps and only seeing them for a short distance before they are gone when they zip by. Want to come here?  Give it a shot, who knows you may think I am wrong on all points. I have been to vintage races all over the USA, Pacific raceway in wa state, laguna seca in CA, last time there 2016 and mid Ohio 2023, so I'll skip this place in the future. Just rich boyz and their toyz showing off, no actual races. Few really cool cars but one red IMSA mustang they actually used in their promo for the M1 concourse American Speed Festival 2023 and it was not even there Saturday when I went, was there last yr 2022. Neither was the red mark 4 GT40 seen this yrs promo pics unless it was inside a building. No problem with missing that car as I seen it many times at the ford museum.

Great course. Fun time racing high end cars. I will be back. Can't believe how this is in all of our backyards!

Concrete concrete dust blowing but boy is this place huge and perfect for something like this…read morebecause High Times always need some place that won't interfere in the enjoyability of the event. This is the third year I've attended the Cannabis Cup at this location and I can tell you that it is wonderful because it's wide open spaces and with them having the huge Center Green area it allows for loads of vendors and places for people to communally sit down and chill.

We were charged $20/person for a "Maximum Destruction" derby that wasn't worth the money spent…read more The best part was the boat races (boats chained to the cars and barrels of water on the track). The figure 8's were a dissappointment since the cars/buses all braked and would wait for other cars to go. We decided it should have been named "MINIMAL destruction" for lack of contact between the cars. Be ready to roast in the sun if you're there during the day! Bring an umbrella or something since there is NO place to escape the sun. Seating is scary old wooden bleachers. Best place to sit for back support is the very top of the bleachers against the chain wall. You'd think for charging $20/person they could invest SOME money into the grounds. Food was typical of a racetrack. Drinks had poor choices, offbrand pop and Arizona tea marked insanely high.
