Incredible customer service! My order was lost by UPS which wasn't their fault, but they went ahead and reprinted my order anyways! (The reprint was in the mail within the week!!) I can't praise the quality enough from the quality paper to the attention to detail. It's the kind of print job that will spoil you for life (in the best way). Terrible customer service, and I mean terrible. Very slow and aloof/lackluster communication. I used them for years to make artist prints, but decided to stop after the pandemic because they changed their policies during the pandemic and have not fully returned to normal business. You can only communicate by email which is a problem if you need to address any issues with an order that are not completely straightforward. As a local trying to support a local business this is frustrating and quite honestly feels disrespectful. It is also a total time sucker--for me, I guess not for them. Unfortunately I have recently had to use them for work and am running up against the same issues!! I am honestly surprised by the positive reviews because I know others who have had the same issues. Note: I am not local to Philadelphia, I work exclusively online via their website and email. So I've been jumping around between various print shops for about a year for my business. My boyfriend is a digital artist and we go to lots of conventions around the US selling his artwork. I started using CatPrint exclusively for the last few months but they became a little troublesome and also the results were decent but not the greatest. We tried Fireball the first time about a month ago and since then have placed 2 additional orders. Each time we've used Fireball, the printing results have been fantastic. Colors are vibrant, prints are packaged safely, and their customer service (via email and over the phone) has been fantastic. There were a few misunderstandings on my side regarding shipping the first time but Fireball has been exceptional with clarifying things for me and just being overall awesome. This most recent order, I paid about $45 for expedited shipping but Kara noted that my shipping location didn't require me to pay additional for expedited and now they are crediting me the price difference. What great service!! Most importantly, Fireball printing is the absolute cheapest service I've ever used. Their special for 11x17/12x18 posters are a godsend for small time artists. I don't quite understand how they stay in business when they are priced so low. I will continue using Fireball and pray that more people find out about their amazing service, printing results, and pricing. I've been recommending Fireball to all my artist friends (Sorry CatPrint..) so hopefully everyone listens and gives Fireball all their business!! read more

Print here at your own risk and be advised: Bleed means different to this company than every other printing company in the area. The staff, with the exception to Joy who was kind enough to mention how files needed to be set up, DO NOT TELL YOU if there is an issue with your files and just print whatever they receive. Even Staples will let you know if something is off so if you are human, you are better off going there for printing. I was impressed with my first order and Joy, so I made the mistake of trying to order 20 designs. First issue: With custom orders, Maria prints bleeds, instead of trimming them like the other print companies I work with. Second: when you present problems, they will talk down to you like a child as they did with my associate. Third, and the most insulting of it all: Zero accountability on their end for when they made mistakes. I tried to be nice and work this out, first by sending my associate where she was insulted, and then through emails. Offering a 20% discount on a future order is downright insulting and does NOT resolve messing up an order nor fix the issue of offending my associate. Now I am offended and will not be returning here. read more

You need printing -- business cards, flyers, large format -- and you're wondering, who's affordable, pleasant, honest, and hard-working? These guys/gals. I've now had flyers printed and am in the process of getting a large format print. So far so good. Catherine (who answers the phone, but surely does a hell of a lot more) is always lovely and never annoyed (at least not obviously so) with my incessant calls. Really quick turnaround and they even deliver everything right to your doorstep...without even charging you extra. This isn't something you have to ask for either, Catherine readily offers the convenient service perk. I've now had flyers printed with them and with Taws and well, there is just no comparison. She sent me Fireball's website, which was both easy to navigate and understand. I uploaded my file, gave my contact info and received a call within a couple hours. After discussing my options, I made my decisions and gave my credit card info over the phone. One week later, 5000 postcards were delivered to my front door at no additional charge. I've had several bad experiences with fireball printing and do not recommend using them. We decided to use them to print off our Wedding Save the Dates cards which we designed. We sent a few files and after okaying the proof, they printed the wrong file. I came in to pick them up on their guaranteed day and they weren't ready, even though they said they would be. When they did finally print the correct file, the color was darker and they wouldn't own their mistake. The "customer service" is a few hipsters behind giant Apple monitors who can't be bothered to say hello let alone serve the customer. The communication was difficult from the get go. If you are outside of their "free shipping" range good luck driving into a dangerous area only to feel looked down on by a business named after candy. With all that said, I don't believe the effort on the customers end is worth the poor quality. They do give away free fireballs though. read more

Some genuinely nice people on their staff but their quality is very spotty at best and their general manager would rather make their error your problem than admit a mistake and fix it. I've been spending over $10k with them annually for a few years now and their latest comedy of errors (and refusal to own it) is sending me to start a credit card dispute and find a new supplier. I love Fireball Printing, I really do! Their easy, cheap, & do a great job. But these guys need to work their kinks out. They remind me of a clumsy mom & pop shop with a mild case of dementia. I've ordered prints from here 4 times within the past year and every time I don't receive a confirmation call/e-mail. I basically have to hunt them down every time to make sure they received my order and to make sure it will be ready in time. And half the time, when I've gone to pick up my prints they aren't ready yet! I don't mind waiting a few minutes but I sent you that file yesterday! I don't recommend this place for students who have projects due in a few days, but, if you're a business owner with a few weeks on your hands before an event, then by all means go for it. 5 stars for -making great prints -being cheap -being awesome 3 stars for -customer satisfaction -efficient But don't get me wrong! The people that work here have never ever given me attitude or gotten frustrated. In fact they are all very pleasant & calm. It makes it hard to be angry about messed up prints. read more

This is my first time printing anything, and I was very pleased. - Phone service: very helpful answers to my basic questions - In person service: I worked with Greg and took probably 10 minutes of his time (with very beginner questions), and he was very helpful. - Prices: seem reasonable. - Turnaround time - about 24 hours for a relatively small job (125 posters and 250 postcards). Impressive. - Final print quality: very high in my view (I'm not a graphic design professional, but a photographer, and I have seen plenty of bad stuff). Overall: 5 stars. Get the delivery service! If you go to thier location there is an ancient elevator to get to their floor which is super scary. So get the delivery service. :) I had postcards printed several times and they turned out amazing. The color was a bit darker than my file, so be sure to adjust your file for that. I'm a design professional who does a fair amount of print work of varying quantities and types and am always interested in a new printer. I prefer to support small and locally owned shops, especially ones who keep operations inside city limits. Usually, I test drive a new shop with a small job. Sadly, I wouldn't recommend this shop for professional work. I communicated to Fireball that I was looking to replace a vendor for a recurring job, as my old vendor lost their lease and this project is a recurring one. Their hours start at 11 am. Customer service I found lackluster to "who cares" and largely email based. When I had concerns and noticed my rep/contact/person-I-emailed seemed confused I called. Someone eventually answered the phone, but they couldn't/wouldn't/didn't help me. They said they'd call the person who was confused and have that person email me again. There was great confusion over fairly standard print specs and ability to communicate exactly what the shop was capable of doing AFTER I'd submitted a quote and awarded them the job. I lost an entire day on a deadline sensitive job before I pulled the job and took it to Mr SirMinuteSpeedyx who answered the phone and knew their specs. The great news is, there other small locally owned city based vendors out there and I found one to do this recurring job to so next time I don't have to go to Fireball or Mr SirMinuteSpeedyx. read more

Great customer service and fast processing time! I'm not a professional artist or in a business that needs regular printing, so approaching a printing business can be intimidating. Their website is very thorough but I didn't know what I was looking for...I just wanted to print out some digital print artwork that I had purchased online. I emailed their customer service and received a response very quickly. Maria explained to me their size and paper options and made the ordering process super easy. Bad customer service... I was really excited about the quote they gave me for a job, but ended up having a terrible experience with their staff. The staff is really put out by phone, email and in person, comes off really arrogant, vague and inconsistent. I tried to get samples, they wouldn't send them, but said I could stop by anytime before 6 to see samples. So, I went up to their spot, got there at 5:30, the space is really, really hard to find, no signs, and I walk in and they look at me, say they are late for another meeting and I should come back and asked me to leave. I've been using Fireball Printing since 2008. It's been a long time! I'm a professional graphic designer and send them projects to quote regularly. They always come in at a very competitive rate which is one of the many reasons I'm a repeat customer. They have great papers to choose from in-house, and whenever I've needed to print on specialty stock, they always work with me on papers I supply from other vendors. If there have ever been any issues, they are very quick to resolve and even reprint when necessary. Turnaround is fast and consistent. They are incredibly responsive and work with me via my preferred communication - email (I wish more companies would treat email like a phone call as Fireball does -- so much faster/simpler for some of us), AND they're local!
