They provided lifts, expertise, tools (if needed), assistance (if needed), and lots of FOOD. I am extremely grateful for the assistance, direction, and screw/clamps for my 2005 Monaco Blue Metalic 330 Cic fuel filter change. The clamps I bought were obviously cheap and stripped when applied, so Amed grabbed a couple replacement clamps to help me finish the job. These guys really know their stuff. They can help you with any upgrade you want to make to your car. Anything. But they also know the service intervals and a glad to make a simple oil change if that is what you want. They won't upsell you for service or parts you don't need. They are BMW certified tech and state inspectors to name a few of their certifications. They also are enthusiasts for the brand driving, updating, and maintaining their personal BMW's. Amed & Fadi are knowledgeable techs and extremely personable. I can't say enough good about them, their business, and fantastic shop. A final note, I am a 'Do It Yourselfer' but know when I can trust someone to work on my vehicle. I trust Amed and Fadi.

So, these guys keep their cars running by doing lots of work on them. Most reviewers don't seem to know what is their car's problem or what is entailed in repairing it. My experience: I mostly do work on my car, but occasionally want a pro to do some jobs. They don't seem to support the do-it-yourself car enthusiast as I thought they world. They seem to look down on this. I brought my car in for a cooling problem. They did work that didn't hold up. Brought it back in as they said they would fix the problem if it was their work that failed. After looking at my car they said it was a different problem from the one they had fixed, and wanted a lot more money to fix the supposed new problem. I said no and left as I was confident it was the original problem. Brought the car to the dealer and found out that it was the original work that had failed. Had dealer fix it at significant expense to me. Oh well, can't trust anyone anymore.

I've had a number of rip offs and attempted rip offs over the years and usually have an idea of what's going on with the car beforehand and an idea of what to expect. Never been any unpleasant surprises here and they're always very helpful. Last year I had a car with a problem muffler which was overdue for retirement anyway. I drove it there figuring they could keep the cost down if anyone. I meant way down. They were swamped and couldn't even evaluate but sent me to a custom auto shop they knew. I went there and asked them to jerry rig whatever was wrong with the muffler, hoping for like wiring the hanger up or something. It sounded like it was dragging. Turned out it was broken and they welded or soldered the freaking thing back on for peanuts!! It was exactly what I wanted to spend: next to nothing! And I was out in half an hour! Does that ever happen?! When has that ever happened with a car repair in your life?! Most are such crooks. I thanked them profusely for jerry rigging it, he said" oh it's welded, solidly it's not jerry rigged. It's not gonna break." And it hasn't, that was over a year ago. I believe both shops earned a spot right next to st peter in the afterlife that day. As long as they don't blow it they're set for the afterlife. I will go and review that other place soon too. As it ended up there were other financial hits and I kept the car longer anyway.. but couldn't have without that service. Anyway that's like the complete opposite of my most extreme disreputable blatant attempted rip off by a local Exxon in Ellicott City toward the west route 40 part over 20 years ago. That business had passed to the son after my Dad had relied on them for decades. Became grifters! I'll write that up soon too here.

After their analysis, they charged me and returned the vehicle to me with both struts deflated and quoted a high price for the repair. I asked them could they inflate the compressor and the mechanic said it cant be inflated, it can only be replaced for the amount quoted. I got a 2nd opinion and was told that the compressor was deflated manually and the screws and ty-straps in the place where the compressor is located are missing. They also said the compressor can be inflated electronically and did it. Went back and asked to speak to the manager on duty. The guy I spoke to wouldnt reveal who he was but pulled up my ticket and when I told him what happened, he then said they didnt do it and he was Steve the owner and they didnt touch anything. Well if they touch anything, how did they know to quote me the price. Either he was lying or they gave a quote without doing the diagnosis. He also said no one never said they couldnt inflate the compressor. SO if you know you could do it, why would you return the vehicle to me with out raising it since the same equipment you use to do the diagnosis is the same equipment you use to instruct the computer to raise the vehicle. The other company inflated the compressor and no issues were found. Never going back again. Terrible service and I believe they create damage on your vehicle in order to charge for repairs.
