We were in town from LA on a Route 66 road trip and after hiking Petroglyph, we were ready for a tasty treat. The helpful worker at the counter walked us through the menu options, explaining what was possible for our non-dairy drinker and overall milk tea options. We got the royal milk tea, to-taro and rose matcha with coconut milk. All were delicious but we would have liked more brown sugar flavor for the boba. This is such a lovely family run business. Their bobas are delicious and they let you sample them to see what you like. Recently I accidentally spilled my boba right outside the store and my wife went and asked them if they would replace it- not only did they replace it but they gave her a free drink too. I stopped by Ma's Tea House because I was early for my work appointment and decided to find a cafe/place to sit to kill time. Then, around the area, I saw a sign for Ma's Tea House and remembered that I had bookmarked it a while ago (but never got a chance to check it out because I live in a different part of town). There's plenty of space for parking and the shop looked bright, modern, clean and inviting. Right away the owner was there to greet me and asked if he could help with anything. I honestly didn't have anything in particular in mind. The owner recommended the traditional boba milk tea so I went with it. I also liked that he also asked how sweet I wanted the tea...and I went with something like 25% because I just wasn't a fan of sweet iced tea (I just want a tea smell and some minor sweetness). A few minutes after, the boba was ready and I happily enjoyed my drink. The tea was perfect. It wasn't too sweet and had a nice aroma that came with it. I thought the boba was made well, too. The boba's texture wasn't too mush or too hard either. Overall, I liked the place and wouldn't mind stopping by if I'm ever in that area again. The only thing was...there was quite a limited space to sit (I went when the shop was holding some event there...so only a few seats were available at a shop). So perhaps, next time if you ever stop by when there isn't any event going on...you'd likely be greeted with friendly service, served with wonderfully tasted tea and have a nice space to enjoy your boba tea. read more

This was my first time trying this place, it had been on my list for a while. I'm glad I finally got a chance to check it out. I do want to say that this place is located in a shopping mini strip mall that has limited parking spaces. The staff is very friendly and the environment is spacious. This place offers quite a few different "selfie" backgrounds if you're interested in making a snapshot for yourself. I opted to try the Jasmine Green Milk Tea. I love Jasmine tea! This was definitely delicious!! My kid got the Strawberry Silk Shake with Lychee Jelly. She loved it as well. While waiting on the drinks, we went to check out the "selfie" spaces. Super cute areas. We had a good time and spent a little more time in the shop because of it. All good fun - all good vibes!! We will be back for more taste of the drinks. I tried this place by a reference from a Coworker. I ordered mango breeze with mango stars and it was absolutely delicious! I also had a drink with oranges and a bunch of other fruit a while back when it had a different name. This place is awesome! I highly recommend trying them out if you're on the west side. Fast service and awesome customer service! Ok this place was soooo good earlier some coworkers wanted more so I came back for more. Summer peach tasted like soap. Strawberry pops were good. Cookies and cream milk had big chunks of cookies. Strawberry funnel fries were good but it had 5 pieces that were overly burnt. I have gone here the last 2 days in a row and ordered the coconut delight smoothie, strawberry delight, Pina colada, and Oreo smoothie. I ordered ahead both times and let me tell you, the order was made perfectly and within five minutes (when they say its ready after 5 min of placing your order online they mean it) the girls that work there know how to make great boba and are very friendly. As soon as I walk in, they make their best effort to immediately get me my order which they made and put in the fridge by the door since I ordered ahead. It's an odd little local artsy place. The young staff was there today, teenagers. We saw the pho picture and thought let's give it a go. The youths informed us that pho is only once a month. Geez! If you tell the owner what flavors you like, he'll point out some choices. Every drink I have ordered has been spot on and incredible. I ordered a Paradise Fruit Tea with Strawberry Jellies today. The crushed pineapple was delightfully fresh, the jellies were a sweet touch, and every sip was like touch of heaven. We also ordered the Pandan Puff with Nutella and Strawberries. So good! These snacks are light, tasty, and a great little bite with your tea. The customer service is incredible. The owner is also the barista and cashier.
