This is the fifth time I've come to this Hi Boba location, and once again they're out of black boba and sugar boba. I honestly don't understand how a place that specializes in boba tea never actually has boba available. Every time, it's the same excuse -- "we just ran out 20 minutes ago." I arrived today at 7:30 PM, and they close at 9. So they apparently ran out around 7:10? That's unacceptable for a business that's supposed to be prepared for normal operating hours. It doesn't matter when I come; it's always the same story: "It takes an hour to make more." Well, if you know you're running low, make more before you run out. It really feels like the staff just doesn't care and wants to get out early instead of providing good service. I love boba, but this location is consistently unprepared and unprofessional. If management doesn't fix this, they're going to lose loyal customers like me. read more

So not as friendly as our usual spot but it will do in a pinch They really don't talk to you here. You order off the menu by number had a M3, I think that is how I say it Seems that they just wan to get your older and out the door. Not really a place to sit and relax . So the boba was not cooked or prepared well enough, when I ate it it was kind of chewy towards the end. Most places I have been are not like that. This boba place isn't too far from us and since we're on a journey to find the best boba in Albuquerque we decided to try it out. The staff was friendly and welcoming. We didn't know what to expect so they explained their process since each boba place can be a little different. The area is smaller but enough to seat a few people indoors. It's quaint and cute though. I got the mango smoothie which was more a slush. I was a little bummed about that because I wanted something on the creamier side. We are new in town. My first visit here I tried to order my usual blended milk tea with boba and it didn't taste the same, I was bummed. My next visit I decided to order off of their menu and I'm so glad I did. They have some delicious creative drinks. There's a heart next to the most popular drinks so i recommend starting there. I've had the Hawaiian Fruit Tea with boba, that's one of my favorites it has crushed pineapple inside too. I recommend the Peach, Orange, Strawberry Oolong Tea and the Royal Peach. My kids have had the smoothies Mango, Strawberry and Honeydew. We have zero complaints! The customer service is good, she was kind, helpful and answered all my questions about the menu. Premier place in Rio Rancho for Boba. Lots of choices. I chose a strawberry smoothie. Another had an Earl Gray Milk tea. The kids had strawberry smoothies with passion fruit bobas. I like how they do sealed tops that you poke the thick straws through to suck up the little boba balls at the bottom of the drink. The employees mixed up one of our order and then put us on the back of the line behind customers that came after us to make the correct item. The drinks are super personalized (sugar amount, ice amount, any additions like boba or crème brûlée topping) and always taste so good! Great employees too. Always served fast, even when there's quite a few people there. Love that they have a few different types of boba including bursting boba and the fruit boba (lychee, rainbow...). What a great menu! I usually order the same thing anytime I go get boba, which is taro. It's sooo good! This time I tried the brown sugar tea. I have had this before elsewhere but it was called tiger tea. My suggestion is to order this with 80% sugar. I ordered it with 50% and it was bland. My son ordered the mango smoothie with boba and that one was a hit! The double Oreo is bitter, not a good choice for us. Avacado was amazing and the strawberry too! They ask you how much sugar and Ice you want, I love that! The owner is patient and accommodating. He was very nice making this a great experience. We will definitely be back! read more

The first time I went I really like this place the last visit not so much I got the mojito with boba . The mojito tasted nothing like the first time and the price was $7.25 to me that crazy when I could get a coffee for $6 . I had to ask the lady working if this was the Mojito because it tasted so different from the first time and she said yes .
