First and foremost, they have new people on-premise for property management it's 1000 times than the old management. Some of the issues still exist but at least they are trying on top of that, prior management only did things when it was reported. I've observed some things are done on a proactive basis. Most importantly, they treat their tenants with kindness and respect instead of jumping to fine you for a violation. You still have to deal with crappy neighbors but alas, that is apartment living.

Was great when we first moved in back in 2024, but as of late the place has really been letting me…read moredown. I don't know if it's because they changed apartment management or what. Put in a maintenance request because the washer stopped spinning, and didn't hear anything for two days until I called the office. I was told one of their maintenance technicians quit and they were behind and only responding to emergencies. Spotted the maintenance techs repainting fire hydrants, so I guess that counts as an emergency over a washing machine that isn't running, but what do I know. Two days later, I still heard nothing, inquired again and was told the same thing. Eventually, I got so fed up that I figured out the belt slipped and was able to put it back in place. THREE WEEKS after the initial maintenance request had been opened, and maybe two weeks after I canceled the request, maintenance showed up while I was at work to replace the belt and left the laundry room a mess--they had moved the washer and dryer and didn't put them back so I had to do it myself. I was pretty upset that the office just left me hanging instead of reaching out like "hey, sorry, we saw your request but we can't respond to it soon". I think I would have been less irritated. On top of that, one of the residents spends hours revving his engine, sometimes at 1 or 2 in the morning, and I work late nights and it wakes me up when I've just gotten to sleep. When I complained about the noise I was told there was nothing the office could do since the noise was out in the parking lot and not in the actual building. There's a group of middle schoolers who gathers around my building, making a ton of noise late at night and in the early hours of the morning, goofing off, and since I live on the ground floor sometimes they'll be right outside my window and I've even caught them digging through the mulch in front of my window. Again, when I put in a complaint, no response. I understand sometimes that there's little that the office can do about obnoxious neighbors, but it irritates me because they're so quick to add a fee onto your account if you put the trash out 30 minutes before 5PM, or they'll just stick a paper in your door about the noise rules, but god forbid they communicate to you if they can't respond to a maintenance request right away. And half the residents ignore the signs telling you to clean up after your dogs, because the grass in front of my building is absolutely littered with dog poop. For the amount of money I pay for an apartment, I've begun to get pretty disappointed. Again, it was awesome when I moved in, but now it doesn't quite feel like home anymore.

I love the apartment, but there are so many issues that are not addressed. People park blocking the…read moresidewalks and we were told by the staff in the office that nothing can be done about it. I have left polite notes asking people to please be considerate but it hasn't done anything. There is a pothole in the parking lot that has been here ever since we moved in about 5 years ago and it becomes a puddle each time it rains. They repaved the parking lot but only the area where we drive, not the parking spots. People leave their trash bags outside their doors and it leaves trash stains on the concrete, even though we have trash cans to put our trash in. People smoke in the apartments and we can smell it in our apartment. The issue isn't the apartment itself. I love the complex. They have clearly put money and effort into making it look nice. They do lots of events for the residents. I will say that several things about the renovated apartments were done fairly haphazardly and we have had to fix a few things on our own that weren't done properly, but overall the renovated apartments look nice. The fact that that people do whatever they want and don't follow the rules in the lease, and that the rules aren't enforced is what I take issue with.

After she did they claimed they never received it. I eventually contacted the fair housing authority and they tried to bully them too. They've charged me pet fees my entire stay. Then they increased my rent over $200 my first renewal! The apartment is full of black mold and I can't be in my room without having asthma attacks! I'm getting the hell out of here! I'm not even going to wait until my lease is up. I should never have renewed it to begin with.
