We had a pipe leak that started in a closet and quickly turned into far more work than we ever expected. What began as a small issue became a full first-floor restoration -- new flooring throughout, drywall replacement, painting, and new trim. Needless to say, it was a much bigger project than we were prepared for. We initially hired another restoration company and spent over a month struggling to get updates and track down invoices. They even told us we didn't need to replace our bedroom carpet -- but when Carolina Restoration took over, they immediately recommended replacing it to properly mitigate the risk of mold. We are SO thankful they did. That level of attention and care made all the difference!! From day one, the Carolina Restoration team made the entire process seamless and organized. Our project manager, Sam, was personable, knowledgeable, and truly put us at ease throughout. They coordinated with ANS Painting Company, and Alex and his team went above and beyond -- not only repainting walls beautifully but even painting our baseboards to match our kitchen cabinets! The attention to detail was incredible, and our home truly looks better than ever! From start to finish, Carolina Restoration exceeded every expectation. They kept us informed, prioritized our comfort, and somehow created a sense of normalcy while our home was under construction. We are endlessly grateful to Sam, Alex, and both teams for their professionalism, kindness, and thoroughness. You won't find a better restoration company in Raleigh -- seriously, this is your sign to hire Carolina Restoration Services ASAP!!

I hired Triangle Reconstruction back in the winter to repair the foundation at my house. This was a very large project of which I had paid him about a third. On January 11 they caused a fire at my house burning down my kitchen. Rob was very apologetic at first, but when I told him I wanted another company to finish the project he said I owed him a lot of money for the work they did and he claimed that they had completed %80 of the job. Fortunately, I had a reputable structural engineer come out to inspect my foundation before they started working on my house and then I had him come back after the fire. The engineer stated only 1/3 of the work had been completed - if that much ! Rob also threatened to file a stop work order if I did not let him bring 'his engineer' out to look at it. I understand accidents happen and against the advice of many people I was actually willing to give him the opportunity to finish the job and try to help rectify the situation. However Rob's estimate to finish was nowhere close to being equitable and provided no consideration for the hardship he has caused in my life. His estimate even included money owed for work they did in the kitchen which was burnt in the fire that they caused ! He clearly doesn't understand the gravity of this and what my family and I have gone through and what we're still going through. We have been out of our house for almost 5 months now and probably won't be able to move back in for another month or two. My family has suffered tremendously due to this company's negligence.

They vacuumed, cleaned and disinfected both areas, lay a vapor barrier in our crawlspace, and also replaced some old insulation. Both areas look amazing! Dr. Jeffrey Jelic was the second oral and maxillofacial surgeon I visited in Durham, and I am so…read moreglad I went. The first one I visited charged me $375 for a consultation during which he told me nothing, except "I don't know why you have TMJ," and that I needed an MRI (which comes with a $150 copay and, let's face it, I'm not what you'd call wealthy), which he insisted I have done at one radiology clinic in particular. Un petit shady, non? Having suffered progressive TMJ and bruxism for nearly six years, that has resulted in constant pain and soreness, as well as malocclusion of my otherwise beautiful teeth, I was downtrodden after my visit to that first guy. But my dentist, Dr. Velma Cooper, referred me to Dr. Jelic. Interestingly enough, both attended the School of Dental Medicine at the University of Pittsburgh and, even more impressively, Dr. Jelic also went on to earn his MD from the Medical College of Virginia School of Medicine. Homeboy is a DMD / MD, so you know he knows his stuff. In our consultation---only $90, thankyouverymuch---Dr. Jelic explained very clearly what our options were, as well as his preferences for the order in which we should try such interventions. Although he is a surgeon, he certainly didn't push surgery on me; in fact, it was presented as the very last and most radical tactic. The first was fitting me with an occlusal guard, which I have been wearing day and night to MUCH relief. Of course, this dental appliance isn't a cure but, at $1200 out of pocket---because dental insurance is a racket and doesn't cover TMJ, jerks---it is a comparatively affordable and certainly less invasive alternative to surgery. I opted for the appliance at my consultation, and our next appointment was set up for just a few days later, where they took molds of my teeth, which were sent off to be made into a mouth guard. The turnaround is about two weeks, and then there are several weekly appointments following for fittings---these are included in the $1200 paid for the guard---where Dr. Jelic whittles down and polishes away the appliance until it is subtle enough to be worn without much distraction or impediment to speech. I've been wearing mine day and night for a few months now, and am thrilled that I no longer have to deal with headaches caused by teeth clenching. The wearing down of the enamel on my molars has ceased, too, thank goodness. Georgia is the practice manager, and she runs a tight ship. Terri was great working with me on the cost, and I appreciated her kindness and forthrightness. Amanda, Kelly, and Sue round out the qualified team of medical professionals, and have all be a pleasure to work with. For now, the guard is working really well for me but, should I decide to try surgery at some point in the future, Dr. Jelic will absolutely be the surgeon I seek out.

I asked for the tip to not look as bulbous and to be moved in closer to my face and now it sticks out farther than before. I addressed my concerns with Dr. Finn, mentioned he forgot to smooth the side lumps on my bridge and flatten the bulge of cartilage on the right side of the tip and the shift in his attitude was disheartening. I then got told I was "chasing perfection"! He agreed to fix the bridge, but wanted to actually widen the tip. Absolutely not! I did/do have a big nose so widening the tip that was already too wide was not an option, especially if the bridge would have been smaller! Anyways, it's been six years and my nose looks even worse now. Nostrils flare more when I smile, a piece of cartilage is prolapsing into my left nostril, it's more crooked and droopy. I did have a complex case so I feel like if you have a simple fix or two, then he would do a good job. I just really didn't appreciate the attitude I got when discussing a revision and I feel like for 8K it should have looked much better!!!

I was looking for a combination of simple, modern clean lines combined with a little drama, with a blue and grey theme. From the beginning of the project, both Dmytro and Liu gave valuable input on some of my choices to help bring the vision I had for the bathroom to life. All of the team were incredibly courteous, prompt, and hard-working with major attention to detail and a true sense of pride in their work. A special shout out to Vitaly for doing the meticulous tile work and majority of painting/plumbing. During the project, we hit some small glitches that happen with every renovation, and Dmytro and Liu worked closely with me to navigate smoothly through all aspects of the project to get the desired outcome. I love my new bathroom! On top of everything, at the end of the project, there was an unexpected plumbing problem outside of the bathroom not at all related to the project that Dmytro fixed. That level of dedication to the customer went above and beyond and was reflective of the incredible service and care that this company provides. DT renovation is the real deal, they can expertly handle all aspects of a big project, such as intricate rewiring, plumbing, painting, etc. if you want a project done right with spectacular results, I highly recommend Dmytro and his team!

It didn't seem to be actively leaking, so we waited until Monday to get a plumber in to have a look. One leaking toilet seal (wax floor seal) later and our house was +70 dBs louder with our bathroom floor tile removed and drying equipment upstairs and downstairs. I'm glad we called Professional Restoration Services! They have been so helpful and professional (of course!) throughout the water mitigation process. They quickly assessed the issue that the plumber had seen (subfloor damage) and began work on demolition, mold removal, and drying out the area so it could be repaired. Drew (OSU fan, but I won't hold it against him) was great in his initial assessment and was helpful with explaining the process and even working with the insurance claims adjuster who happened to be here at the same time. Esam, Cameron and George performed the service and daily checkups and were always friendly, helpful and professional! And everyone was very thoughtful with their cleanliness (always wore booties in the house, laid down plastic, etc....)! They are a local company and I would definitely recommend them to anyone who has to deal with water mitigation and damage issues in their home! This review is for the water mitigation portion of our service only, I'll post another, separate review for the repair work after it is complete.
