He's 4 and he climbed up there himself. He can get down by himself as well. He LOVES this dang rock.

Our GO TO because it is so close to our preschool and close to our friends. Here is something people may not know about this park...we used to go at 8:30 in the morning to get out of the house before school every other week and at that time there were employees raking and blowing the mulch off the turf for the day! I mean talk about upkeep! No wonder this park looks so well kept and maintained! We love the structures - big and little. We love the "fake rocks" to scale and give our parents a heart attack (my little one would say). We love the rocking horses and the log tunnel. We love the shade over the swings and merry-go-round (or whatever that thing is that spins and spins and spins). The bathrooms are clean! The turf is clean! There is a water bottle fill station. BEST PARK EVER!

We were traveling and my kids needed a break from driving. This was exactly what they needed! The park is absolutely beautiful, with things to do for kids young and older. The bathrooms were very clean and there was a water bottle fill-up on site.

Just moved here and this park is the closest to the house. It's beautifully maintained and l love walking there. Plenty of parking, nice bathrooms and great walking trails await you there.

Brand new park in East Cobb. Nice play area for kids, and walking trails & a lake. It does get extremely hot during the middle of the day, so make sure the kids know to check the temperature before climbing on. There are also several covered picnic tables and charcoal grills next to the tables. The walking trails are on the shorter side, but if you combine them all and do a few laps it would be a good workout. There are also horses near the entrance... my kiddies love seeing them. Thanks for creating a new park instead of a new neighborhood!

To my understanding, this park connects to another one, but we didn't check the other side out. It seemed to be well maintained overall. The bathrooms were clean and kept up, the park and pavilions were in good condition overall, and there was no major construction or anything going on which was nice. Someone was setting up for a birthday party or function of some sort, so we left a little earlier than planned, but you could definitely spend a decent amount of time here and just relax and enjoy the quiet. There are views of the river over the bridge and a bunch of different trails one could take. My clients enjoyed the little free library that many of the parks around here have. It's to the left, right off the main parking lot when you drive in. We borrowed a few books and now we can return some one day to this location and others. Overall, everyone had a great time and we would definitely come back here for book club or just to walk around in the fresh air again.

The grass and area are very well taken care of. When I went, the grass was low and I didn't see one single piece of trash anywhere. The trail was great and expanded into other areas I wasn't so sure about. All in all it's a clean and safe park that I would highly recommend and go to more.

The restrooms are very clean. Admission is reasonable at $10 per adult. No cash accepted. Plenty of walkable area and trails, many places to comfortably sit and enjoy this slice of nature. This was a pleasurable distraction from the busyness of the surrounding commercial area. There was also a nice covered area for observation of the koi pond and waterfall features, which would be great in a mild rain shower. The butterfly tent area sounds amazing, but we were too early for the season. The gardens are set up for educational purposes for children, which is nice. The bad: some areas are in desperate need for weeding, Robert said a large group of volunteers were coming out this weekend to help with weeding. There were many poison oak plants and poison ivy plants in some areas where kids might roam, especially, or adults too. The trails could be marked better, even though maps were available at the main admissions shop and a couple on property. Generally, this seemed newer rather than well established, but it is on its way to a nice gardens area and even now is a great spot to spend a couple of hours or more in nature!
