I feel like SOME of yall posting poor reviews, do not have basic comprehension skills. It clearly states on the website on multiple different pages that, no matter what you buy, it is not fully tested, nor do they have a guarantee of everything being in the box. That is why it clearly states the option to have a seven dollar warranty on it. I'm not really sure why everyone is complaining. If you really wanted to rig the system, buy it on Amazon and return the broken one. You grown adults are ridiculous. If you can't read, have someone or Siri read the website to you. I've purchased MANY things off Mac.Bids but lately it's been a little frustrating. Items are labeled "like new" and you get them and they are nothing like new. While I have had some good deals it really is hit or miss with no in between. I've tried 3 times to get electric scooters for my kids just for them to be used and broken. It sucks throwing away money especially after all the additional fees added on to your purchase. At the NLV location, you lose reception the further back you go and then you can't access your purchases on the app. I've learned to screen shot my purchases before going back. Staff is hit or miss on whether they are nice or not. I got stuck standing in line a few extra minutes while 2 staff members had a loud private conversation about being written up and being mad at the manager. Packages are piled on top of each other with no real concern for weight which can make it difficult to get your box. Also they are strict on that not allowing people to come in 15 minutes before closing. I was loading up my order when a man came at 5:47 and they refused to let him get his one item. The Henderson location I refuse to go to. The people there are just rude. From staff to customers. I will say the one time I went to the Binz section, the man there was extremely nice and took the time to explain everything to me. Long story short. The description of the product was wrong. They described a 10" miter saw and it was a 7 1/4". They would not refund my money on their mistake. So they can describe the product wrong and the consumer suffers. Also they say you can inspect the item before you buy it. I was not allowed to do that because it was in the office area. I do a lot of bidding for stuff. Who doesn't want getting a bargain? But I found out that after bidding for something, MAC.BID, charges the bid, a buyer's premium, buyer's assurance, and a lot fee. So I bid on an open box for 4 pieces of bar stool furniture. I had to work so my daughter picked it up for me. When I checked the box, MAC.BID only provided 2 bar stools. The description is inaccurate. If it said missing parts, I wouldn't bother bidding. Why even bid for an incomplete set. Good thing I went ahead and bought whatever additional charges they suggested. Because if I didn't, if the item you buy is incomplete or end up not usable, You lose your money and they will not accept a return. Ridiculous right? Haha!! Hilarious! I just tried to do business with them but I won't anymore. Also if you pick up anything from them, you will pick it up yourself from the aisle and look for your order. If you buy something heavy, they do not help you carry anything to your car. They are also mean, lady in front entrance, was not interested in what I have to say at all, I showed her what I bought and she was like, youbought an open box, if you do that, then whatever is in the box is what you get. Hahaha!!! If they said open box incomplete item, I wouldn't have to argue. We didn't argue, but when these things happen you have got to speak to the manager who was at the end of that warehouse. I showed him and he ask if I have the assurance I said yes. I was able to return the 2 bar stools. Also if even if you don't pay for the item, cos somehow you changed your mind, they charge you anyway. And if you cannot pick it up in 3 days, you have to pay $25 for holds. There are better auction/bid places like Nellis Outlet. You bid, no miscellaneous payment just a small fee and taxes. You still feel like you won. You park on the pick up spot, and they bring the items to your car. Customer service is great. You can return the item, no problem if it ends up not working. In conclusion, do not believe the commercials. They are pricey. You think you scored but once you see the bill, you end up with additional charges at least 50% more on top of the price. It defeats the affordable concept. It still cheap but so many miscellaneous charges, and it is a hassle picking it up and a hassle returning it. read more

Be smart on what you bid on. Open box, you're taking a chance, go look at the item before you bid. If you bid on LIKE NEW which I only bid on, inspect the item and plug it in at their test table. They will refund you before you walk out the door if it's not "like new" I've bought 3 gaming monitors, brand new sealed coffee makers and brand new baby items. I picked up several things that were badly damaged that they should have disclosed...broken glass, cut electrical cords, missing wheels, obvious damages. After over $1,000 in separate purchases, I'm finally done. When Mac.Bid first opened in North Las Vegas, the selection and deals were just too good to pass up. But over time and many disappointing purchases, I can no longer, in good faith recommend them any longer. My biggest complaints is missing parts from boxes (that are not easily replaceable), many broken items that are unusable, and the complete lack of customer service. They cannot assist you in the store, they direct you to call or preferably email customer service, who NEVER responds, so you're ultimately stuck with items you've paid for that just get thrown away. I'm very clear that I am buying items that are deeply discounted. Open boxes, items returned, an occasional scratch, but, I've had table tops broken in half, a fan I purchased today when plugged in operated in the warehouse, only to find the stand (base was broken) and unusable, along with a missing remote control, a wooden lazy Susan snapped in half, hardware to the dinette table completely missing (manufacturer charged me $45 for replacement hardware, saying it wasn't covered because it was resold) and several other items that had to just be thrown away that were unsalvageable. Several items I did purchase the additional insurance/return policy, but it doesn't alway make sense to do so. They are no longer inspecting the items they sell, as they did at the beginning of their operation. I'm very happy with many of the purchases I've made, like a high end bread maker, a twin bed mattress and frame and kitchen chairs. I might feel differently if CUSTOMER SERVICE was actually present. Recently won an XXIO driver. Picked up the product which was wrapped in bubble rap. I noticed the driver was about 2/3s of the length of a normal driver. Upon inspection it was obvious that someone had cut the driver shaft below the grip. This product should have never been placed for sale in the auction as it is completely destroyed. The representative at MAC.Bid said they would return it but I would have to use my one time only customer return option. This is total BS. This product should have never been put into the auction. Mac.bid is a site/app where you have the opportunity to bid on returned amazon items. There are fees and taxes on top of the amount you bid. For example: if you win something for $1, you'll be paying around $6. If you win something you have 3 days to pick up otherwise it is no longer yours & they will repost it. When you arrive at a pick up sight, you have the option to open the box & check the contents in a designated area near the front. If anything is not as advertised in the listing, let an employee know & they'll direct you where to get your money back. Depending on what you won you may want to bring a tape measure with you. Lastly, yes, you need to pick out the items yourself. If it's something heavy bring someone to help you. Carts are limited & can be hard to get during busy hours. Our family has been buying things on Mac.Bid for close to a year now. We have loved most of what we bought. The things we didn't love, we also didn't open the box before checking out, so that's on us. We have lost one item by forgetting to pick up & were out of the money, again our fault. They are not scammers. There is a reason other people returned these items. Most of the time they are not broken or damaged though. do not buy anything from this place. they make their business off of shady practices. they sell broken, damaged, items that are missing important parts, and you will end up waisting your money because they have a no return policy. between my wife and i we have bought over 30 different items and at least 20 of the items or more were either damages or missing items and they end up being thrown away in the garbage. they say you can open the boxes before you checkout but some of the items cant be put together or operated correctly until you get home and by then its too late. for example i bought an ice machine and when i got home to turn it on i filled it up with water and the water just drained out of the bottom onto my counter and floor. i had to get intot the structure of the item with tools to investigate and turns out there was a huge crack in it that couldn't have been seen ay the store unless you are willing to bring your tools and take apart each and every item yoh buy. another example, my wife bought a food processor and we tested it at the store but when we got home and went to use it, there was something broken inside the machine that caused it to short out in the first attempted use and now wont turn on. that went into the trash as well. another example, i just bought a ice bath and i inspected it at the store and it seemed to have everything in it but when i went to set it up at home the most important part of the structure were missing which could not have been seen at the store worh the naked eye so the thing is worthless. this place is a scam. they are selling all of amazons returns that are useless and trying to get away with it with their no return policy. it is crazy that tjeu are allowed to do what they are doing and ripping people by auctioning off worthless items and listing them as like new or still in box. they should be shut down and they should give people there money back. such a joke and they should be ashamed of themselves, straight thieves. i hope enough people see this and it saves them from getting ripped off. read more

After bidding and winning 3 items I went to pick them up. Slightly confusing the first time, but once you figure it out it's okay. One problem is there is not enough carts for the amount of people looking to use them. The real issue comes when you get your stuff home. Just about everything I've gotten from that place is either broken or doesn't work. Then they want you to buy a warranty to return it. So essentially nothing works, you buy the warranty and return it to get a refund. However, you still paid money for the warranty that you don't get back. I bought a bidet and then had to send it to Toto to repair it for $175. I also bought two lightweight cement planters that were both broken when I got them. One of the planter said "like new" condition. I would definitely steer clear of this place and go to Nellis auction where they allow you to return any of your purchases for seven days. Woke up the next day on the 20th of March 2025 because for some reason my phone received a notification of $6.99 that was charged on my card. I didn't try to bid or bid on any items. First and foremost the bad reviews are on point. The core thing in my experience was the shady nature with which they operate. I paid for the return assurance. I returned the item and was told I'd receive my money back in 2 weeks. That didn't happen, on top of that I went ro pick up a fluid pump. It was not only dirty but full of used car oil. I immediately let them know and they said it would fall off as a bid that I lost. That didn't happen. From there I received an email notice saying I was banned and not allowed to step on their property. Mind you I have not done anything wrong. Their value is beyond sub par. Their business practices are shady at best, and the managers who handle these kind of cases have an air of being upset at the fact that you're literally following their own policies. It's not worth the supposed money you'll save.
