She then said she would refund my deposit (on July 18), and still has NOT REFUNDED ME despite my multiple attempts to contact her and get my money back. I was really looking forward to getting my nails done with her specifically as her profile was all about nail health, but she was extremely unprofessional and not true to her word.

Lyndie did a virtual consultation with me and had me send pictures of my hair and my hair goals. She made it easy and fun. Beautiful and modern but approachable and comfortable salon spaces with an elegant, French vibe. The treatment rooms are cozy and featured lovely French music that was perfect for the setting. He walked me through all the phases of the facial and the benefits! Knowing the experience David has in this industry and the great esthetician offerings he has was definitely a reason I booked. I also scheduled a hair consultation with Mary after my facial to discuss some sizeable challenges I was having with my hair. I was able to get scheduled shortly after on an evening appointment (which are on Thursdays as of the time of this review). Mary spent a lot of time talking with me on what I wanted, what my problem areas/concerns were with my existing color, how we could make a plan and made sure we were both very comfortable before the color went in! I am just thrilled with the outcome and she is an expert colorist! She was very transparent about pricing and realistic expectations with what we could and could not do in order to achieve the best outcome. All while trying to figure out my hair as a new client. I had visited the salon a couple of years ago during a Yelp Elite event and was so excited to return for some wonderful appointment experiences!! You can choose from a chart of existing colors or completely make your own. They will ask you some questions to see if you are more of a cool or warm tone person, do you want frost (think light shimmer, not 1980's!) matte, gloss, cream base. You can even flavor it with pink champagne or raspberry truffle! I love bright colors so that's what we went with. You watch them make it right before your eyes. Legit, one of the coolest things I've ever experienced! I love my new colors! One is bright magenta and the other one just has some more red in it along with a touch of frost and moisturizer! Even with the terribly, not very well decribed description of what I wanted & expected. Well... He definitely got my hair the way I wanted!! Exactly how I wanted it to look esp my bangs. Overall, everything about the time spent there went above & beyond expectations. Employees that worked shifts during my appt seemed genuinly happy to be there even on a holiday. I was impressed by the fact that both salon owners were there as well and involved with clients, watching/training employees, etc. Emmett's the Salon definitely screams dedication! While being a very comfortable environment, I was treated like a long time customer, not like the 1st appointment that it really was.
