From the minute I walked in the door, the energy was high and it really felt like the staff enjoyed one another. There was good energy buzzing throughout the space. All of the stylist seem to be doing shampoos and color which all looked awesome, but if the volume at the bowl would have been quieter while I was in my chair, I would have been more relaxed. My hair is a little difficult to work with because it has some chlorine damage and it's curly/frizzy, but after a good wash, detangling, and blow dry, it looks and feels as good as new. Also, my hairstyle stays put for the whole night, whether I'm sitting at a formal dinner or dancing at a party--it's a special mix of magic and hairspray that keeps it together! I booked an appointment for 1:45 but came and checked in a little early (about 1:35), and I was seated right away. Blo Fishers put the "bar" in blow dry bar when they offered me a glass of champagne or a La Croix cocktail upon arrival. It was a very luxurious and classy touch. All of the hairstylists I have met pay special attention to every detail, whether you want your hair parted a certain way, want more volume in your curls, or even want a custom braid or bun. Normally, I'm shy about speaking up if I want to change something, but the stylists always make sure to ask if I like how my hair looks along the way, and I feel more comfortable with answering a prompt. The effort the stylists put into their craft really makes Blo Fishers worth the price. I recommend booking an appointment through Blo Fishers' website even if you don't think they will be busy because they rarely accept walk-ins on weekends (their busiest days). I also recommend knowing what hairstyle you want before you start your appointment (check their website for the LookBook or come with some inspo from your Pinterest board!) so you don't waste time during your appointment. There's an option to join the membership club, which boasts 2 blowouts per month for a significantly reduced price (among other commodities). I definitely can appreciate this deal, but since I only get my hair done for special occasions, I stick to paying per-hairstyle. Blo Fishers never fails to make my hair look beautiful, and it's my favorite place to get my hair done!
