I bought a brand new 22 Grand Cherokee L... Has had small issues, recalls etc. couldn't get anyone to talk to you sure couldn't get anyone to fix stuff covered under warranty.. Things still aren't fixed. But now come 2/5 I'm leaving the Jeep family. Only because of the dealership/service department.. I've had 4 Jeeps in my time and this is the last one. Purchased QX80 from them I reside in Texas but the price was good and getting the vehicle was a easy process but they gave me a 4 day temp tag which is completely crazy since I knew I wouldn't have registration in 4 days......its been over a month and guess what I still do not have registration and no one has made any contact with me concerning my tags NO one even cares. I usually hate having to buy another vehicle, but this time I had a great experience buying my truck. I bought an F-150 from them that I originally found online because it was priced great. They got me additional photos and information quickly, my salesperson was even responding to my texts at 10pm which I thought was great customer service. I went in the next day to test drive it and it was exactly how they described it to be. The paperwork process was extremely quick, I was in and out of the dealership in under an hour. They do this thing called "Mac Haik VIP" program where they give you 3 oil changes and tire rotations for free and anytime I need tires it's buy 3 get 1 for only $1. The team was extremely helpful and my salesperson has checked up on me twice since I left, most salespeople I've delt with were done with me after the sale. Initially I had a bad experience with the service department. But one of their service advisors stepped in and fixed everything. He had me calmed down and the problem corrected before I realized it. Ted Alexander is a top notch representative of Mac Haik! If you go to Mac Haik for service my advice is talk to Ted. The only way I'll go back is if I can deal with Ted. Ted is a service advisor but if I ever think about buying a vehicle from them I'll insist on dealing with Ted. They can make that work or I'll be going somewhere else. Would give negative number is I could. They have had our 2022 Ram 2500 since mid July for rear end damage. Not once have they initiated a communication with us about the status of repairs. They rarely return calls. We called 2 weeks ago and they said the work had been completed for a week! However , they are now charging almost $800 more than what insurance initially agreed. Insurance has reached out to them 4 times for additional info for the charges and they still haven't gotten back with them. Even though they said it was repaired, husband went and got some paperwork to take to insurance for Mac Haik, and the spare was still on the truck! read more

Amazing experience. My fiance have been working with them for a week to buy his new truck and they showed nothing but respect and courtesy. They worked with us and was totally transparent throughout the entire process. When we finally made it from Georgia to Mississippi they met us at the rent a car place (Avis) a few miles away and not only did we get a good deal these people are serious about Covid. The cars that are being sold at each location are not good quality. Had my truck for less than a week and the transmission went out. I had to spend money getting it towed back to the dealership while also still paying on a car that I am not driving which makes no sense to me. You think you would be going to a good dealership because the location is in flowood but no you have to do full inspection on cars from anywhere before you sign anything especially from this place. I've been paying on my truck since February and haven't even been able to drive it. I would not recommend this place for a car that you can depend on for years to come. read more

Absolutely terrible. The service department will likely be the reason I never purchase another Chrysler vehicle. The second time I've been there for service. First tried to upsell me on services because it 'wasn't showing' my vehicle was eligible for free service. Had to get my invoice and agreement out showing the the first so many were free. Second I have a small issue with a USB port. They don't have anyone that knows how to work on that on the weekends. So now I have to take time off during the week to try and get this taken care of. Let me start by saying I don't normally openly complain or leave reviews but I will make an exception for this place. I recently purchased a used 2011 Corvette from Mac Haik Chrysler in Flowood, MS. I found the car on auto trader with a generic picture listed. It was initially listed for one price and I called as soon as they opened the next morning and spoke to a salesman named Crews. He informed me the price had increased by $1,000 and couldn't give me a good reason why. I asked for actual pictures of the car and he sent 4 pictures from 20-30 feet away. At this point it was in the middle of the day and I called him back asking for more detailed pictures because I was 5 hours away and he said he would get me some. I asked Crews if the price was negotiable and he said it was slightly and that they could put a hold on it if I put down a deposit. I didn't hear anything from him the rest of the day and called back the next day and found out that he was off that day so I asked to speak to another salesman, at which point I was transferred to Bobby, one of the sales managers. I explained to Bobby how far away I was and was willing to put down a deposit on the car if someone would send some detailed pictures. He said it was getting tires and brakes and should be able to get the pics soon. He went on to tell me that the price was firm and they couldn't do a hold on it. I explained to him that I was very interested in the car and if he could get me some pictures by noon I could make the 5 hour drive that day to get it. Again, I didn't hear anything back from him the rest of the day. Just before closing time around 7pm I once again called and asked to speak to another salesman and was transferred to Adam. I explained to Adam my frustration and within 10 minutes he sent the pictures I requested. The pictures showed the car to be in immaculate condition with zero body or paint imperfections visible. I asked what the "out the door" price would be and they tried to add an additional $1,000 for a tracking system that I didn't ask for. I told him I didn't want it and would not pay the extra fee for a dealer installed item that I didn't request. He said they could take that off. I put a $1,000 deposit down on the car on a Wednesday and went to pick up the car on Saturday. Upon arrival at 11am as I said I would arrive, Adam wasn't to be found for around 30-45 minutes. I began inspecting the car and found the rear bumper paint to be badly spiderwebbed due to something bumping into it at some point. The lower rocker panels had some damage as well. I asked them to adjust the price accordingly for these defects that I wasn't told about or shown in the pictures. I was informed that they had already knocked $1,000 off the price for the tracking system that I hadn't asked for to begin with. They knew I had already paid $1,000 down on the car and driven 5 hours to get it so they didn't care. That would have just been an extra $1,000 they would've made on it had I changed my mind. I went ahead and agreed to buy it at which time they made me wait over 2 hours to do all the paperwork. This was after I told them I had to drive 5 hours back home and then go to work after. We do all of the paperwork and low and behold they don't have the title to the car. They say they'll have to mail it to me. This is one of the most unorganized places I've ever dealt with. I get the car home and start checking everything over and realize they have put 11 quarts of oil in a car that holds 6. They also said they put a new air filter on it, which was a lie. They report this to the state because it's on the Carfax report. I call their service department and ask how much oil they put in it. Guy tells me 11 quarts. I ask why and he can't give me an answer. He also can't give me an answer why there isn't a new filter on it like they said there was. I messaged Adam asking about the oil issue and when I asked him to ask the service mechanic that did the oil change why they put 11 quarts in it, he stopped responding to me. Now the car is leaking oil and smokes due to their service department putting 5 extra quarts of oil in it but they have my money so they don't care. My recommendation is to stay far away from this place. read more

I brought my Jeep in for long crank time stayed there a whole week only to get it back with the Same damn thing wrong with it. 2 days later same thing. They said the cam sensors crank sensors were replaced. now I'm back up here again and they still don't know what is wrong with my car. hopefully this issue is rectified soon. never had this issue before with them and I'm very disappointed and pissed off about how nonchalant they are about this problem. read more

ATTENTION!!!!!! This is real life and actually happened to me: I was experiencing some very minor problems with my Dodge Journey like an occasional hiccup and the airbag light coming on and off. I took my SUV to Mac Haik Dodge and Jeep in Flowood on Lakeland Dr and please keep in mind I have a bumper to bumper warranty on my SUV. They told me the hiccup was a cause of needing new spark plugs, air filter and a tune up, my airbag light was a cause of the passenger seatbelt that needed replacing all of which was not covered by my warranty and told me the total cost to have all that done was over $900 and charged me $140 just to tell me that. I was livid over the fact that I bought this $2,500 warranty that wasn't going to cover the only problem that I ever had with my SUV. So I went to Grey Daniels Nissan in Brandon and wanted to know why my $1000 problems weren't going to be covered. The financial department was so nice to be despite how upset I was and told me to bring my SUV to them and regardless of if it's covered by warranty or not they would look at it for free to make sure what they said was what was actually wrong with it and if it was try to get warranty to cover it. So I brought my car to Rick at the service department this morning and before lunch he called me to tell me they unhooked the seatbelt and hooked it back up and the code it threw went away so it just came loose most likely because of Jackson pot holes and also said my car had 100,000 mile spark plugs and were totally fine and there was nothing wrong with my air filter but they cleaned it out just to make sure and the random hiccups just happen to be something that 4 cylinder cars do from time to time when the gears shift and unless it actually jerks there's nothing to worry about that the hiccups don't cause any problems or damage to the car and they did all this and didn't charge me anything. Now had I not known that me and Firestone have a great relationship and they help me make sure my car is up to date on everything and researched what they were telling me they would have cheated me out of $1,000 instead of the $140 they got from me for work that never needed to be done on my car. Oh and by the way the $400 Mac Haik claimed it would cost me to replace the seatbelt Grey Daniels Nissan said they would never charge that much to replace a seatbelt. Also the $581 they wanted to charge me for the "tune up" Firestone said the most it would cost is $300 but since I take my car to Firestone for maintenance they were also convinced I didn't need it and was being ripped off. So the moral of my story is NEVER take your car to Mac Haik unless you want to be ripped off. Just go to Grey Daniels Nissan and ask for Rick and tell him I highly recommend them to work on your car because I promise they aren't there to sell you repairs that you don't need. read more

A car would have been sold, if he'd come a smidgen closer. Find another Jeep dealer. I've bought two from there, but never will again. I got the run around all day on when my Jeep would be fixed. I called at the end of my shift to check the statues, no one could tell me, so I called Rick's pro truck(that is were they sent it for repair) I was then told it has been sitting in the dealerships parking lot for hours. No one calls me, I made arrangements to borrow a vehicle to get me to and from work, because the dealership had no intention on giving me a vehicle to get me by. I call the dealership AGAIN, they had no idea where my Jeep was, puts me on hold to go find it. This place is a real disappointment!!! No one knows what they are doing. It's really sad. Service department screwed my wife's Denali sensors and when we took back they tried charging us. Other occasion I found a truck on their website and was wanting to buy it so I go and look at it and get there and find the truck dirty and being used by manager. Opened door and he had beer cans on floorboard with a whiskey glass in cup holder with cigarette butts in it where he had been ashing and extinguishing his cigarettes so that he didn't get ashes on the side of the door flicking them out the window. I still negotiated but they treated me like an idiot and would not come off the sticker price. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. I promise you will get better prices and MUCH better service. Worst service I have ever received. I brought my car in for a simple fire rotation and asked them to balance the wheels due to a slight steering wheel vibration at 70 mph. I dropped the truck off at 0700 and told them I would return at 3 pm. They told that was no problem. I was contacted at 1 pm to tell me my truck work was completed. I arrived to find my truck just going into a bay. The staff tried to explain that they were just backed up? Well why did you tell me if was done? Stood around for an hour and half and finally got my vehicle. I left the dealer and to my surprise the steering shook my wristwatch off my wrist! The truck now has to go into another shop to be fixed! Spoke with the service manager and dealership manager, neither cared, I could bring it back in! First visit with my Ram 3500 they finally fixed the problem I've been having that a hand full of previous dealerships all over the US couldn't fix. Told me that all the new parts was covered under a warranty. The service guy new what he was talking about and was excellent. About 60,000 miles down the road same issues was happening. I stop by and the previous service man wasn't there he had gotten promoted. So I get this Marquee dude that doesn't know his ass from a hole in the ground. I'm telling you god gave more sense to a billy goat. I tell him was it was doing to not touch the air filter ( K&N ) that it's the same problem as the last time. I know my truck put over 177,000 miles on it and it's still kicking strong. So when I go to pick it up I find out they threw my $95 K&N air filter away said it was coming apart ( only a few months old ), did a $500 dollar oil change that I never told them to do, tells me the new parts wasn't covered under warranty and didn't fix the truck with a BOL of about $1,700. I will never use this place again and wouldn't recommend it to my worst enemy. Marquee and the mechanics must have a scheme going on because they all get paid off what they do. My wife & I bought a Jeep Compass, & paid their asking price under one condition, they would furnish a spare tire kit for the safety of my wife because we live & travel much of the time on gravel roads. We purchased this vehicle in January & it is now November & after many promises we still have no spare tire. I went to the dealership today & got a quote for the spare tire kit & learned my price would be $ 450.00. I asked to speak to the person in charge & was given the same empty promises concerning the spare tire kit which really made me furious because it concerned the safety & well being of my wonderfully beautiful wife & thank God she hasn't had a disaster in the past 11 months. While discussing the complete failure of the people & leadership at this mac haik dealership in Flowood Ms., I was told we would have to go to an office to discuss this complete lack of respect for the safety & well being for my wife. From what I have witnessed, the employees of Mac Haik Jeep dealership in Flowood Ms. can lie, cheat, & steal while on their showroom floor, but the customer will not be allowed to tell the honest truth on their showroom floor. Supposedly, I will be getting a check for approximately half of the almost $500 needed to purchase the spare tire kit that was agreed upon when my wife & myself paid their asking price for this vehicle. Never should the consumer trust nor respect the empty promises that billows from the mouths of people who have no idea of the importance of character, trust, & respect. Long story short, although I feel angry enough to assign a negative star rating, that's not an option on the 1-5-star scale, so I will try to remain objective. All in all, I'd give this place 5 stars for competitive pricing, and picking me up at the airport, but I'll have to discredit two stars for selling a vehicle with an outstanding safety recall, a tire pressure indicator check light, near bald tires, and only 1 key. Would it kill you to put these used cars through your service department for these quick and easy fixes? The car I bought probably could have been assessed and sold as a "Certified Pre-Owned" had they simply exercised even a minimum of initiative to perform the certified pre-owned inspection checklist and corrected the problems. And then there's the elephant in the room; woefully poor customer service immediately after the sale. After 3 weeks of constant calling, emailing, and texting to follow-up with my sales-rep (Adam H) who ignored my repeated attempts to reach him, I finally reached the Finance lady (Cathryn Y) who does the sales paperwork (nice lady) and somewhat responsive by partially answering my question about when my title and registration paperwork had been processed, but failed to follow-up with me on the second part of my question about my missing key. Here we are a month and a half later and I still don't have my license plates, title, or second key for the car. The temp tag they issue is good for a grand total of 7 days, so I'm pretty much stuck in the driveway for now. Being at the mercy of the local DMV during a pandemic is never a good thing -- who knows when I'll actually get to legally drive my car which is still in the driveway as we speak. Anyway, I was finally transferred to a "General Manager" (Brandon S) who told me he speaks with his sales staff regularly about "customer service" (I'm guessing tongue-in-cheek) -- anyway he was very helpful and resolved my issues immediately, but things should never have devolved as far as they did to begin with. Here's the thing, I flew in from out of state, and had a 14-hour drive back home, so while I didn't expect them to roll out the red carpet for me or anything, a little mutual respect for me as a customer, in the form of customer service after the sale would have been nice. read more

Two (2) days ago I was talking again with (Brandon Seward) Sales Manager. I made them an offer and Brandon had to get the Final Decision from the GM (Will LaGrange). (They have Multiple locations so Will travels between them and is hardly ever in his office at the Flowood Store) Brandon says Terry I'll call you back in 15-minutes buddy after talking to Will. No call back so finally today I decided to Text and Call Brandon as I have his cell number. (Also called his Direct-Line and left a voice message) So, me coming from that world of 20 plus yrs working at dealerships I thought this guy is NOT going to call me back. I'm thinking to myself I bet the Low-Life has sold the Hellcat and that's what is really going on. So I also had the young man's cell number I was working with, (Salesman). I call his cell and he answers and I tell him what's going on and find out he actually took his 1-day off yesterday. He tells me Terry, Brandon said that Hellcat is sold and they are getting ready to deliver it right now. I'm totally Livid as you can well imagine !!! I now decide to track down Will the GM and do in-fact find out he is at the Jackson Dealership per one of the Sales Managers. That sales manager said I''l talk to him in person Terry as I saw him here a little while ago if he is still here. I finally got a call from Will the GM that's over all the stores as I left a message for him at the Jackson Dealership ^^^. I'll try to now shorten this a lot and get to the bottom-line. Brandon tells William (Salesman) and Will (GM) that he called me and I did not answer my cell phone and he left me a message to call him. Talk about a Low-Life lying little Prick !!! I am retired and right here at home and would instantly answer my cell phone if I got a call on it. Also the cell would have notified me if I happened to miss a call as you all know. Will and I did talk for awhile and this is what it came down to. He was NOT going to STOP the transaction even though Brandon lied his ass off on contacting me and giving me 1st right of Refusal. Brought my 2018 ram 2500 with less than 10,000 miles in due to the DEF system acting up. I want to say this up front the service advisor that was assisting me was nothing but kind and helpful and I feel that she did and outstanding job but that's where the good ended. After receiving a phone call from the service department that my truck was repaired and ready to go we went to retrieve it and before we could even get out of the parking lot the same service DEF system lights were on. They kept my truck roughly another week and once again called and informed me that my truck was repaired and ready to go. After picking up the truck I made a short drive and stopped to get some lunch, after restarting the truck the check engine light came on. I returned to the dealership and requested they look into the check engine light while I was still in the area. They took it around back supposedly to the service manager and brought it back a few minutes later once again supposedly ready to go. The young man that brought it back around told me he was instructed not to kill the engine witch I felt was a little suspicious but I'm not a mechanic so what do I know. After completing an almost 2hr drive home I killed the engine and later got back in the truck to run to town and the check engine light was back on. Later had it hooked up to a scanner to see what the codes were and it's two separate active codes both for the DEF system. I completely feel like the tech at MacHaik knew what was going to happen and just didn't want to fool with it anymore being it was 4:30 on a Friday evening. I feel like I was flat out lied to and that I was treated like my business was unwanted. I will be finding a different Ram dealership to take my truck to for service and even though my buying experience was great at MacHaik I will unfortunately no longer be doing business there. read more

(Originally sent to the service manager Terry - who did not respond) I have been coming to the dealership for years now to get my three Jeep-Dodge-Chrysler products serviced. I took both my 2012 Jeep Wrangler and my 2010 Chrysler town and country in for oil change, inspection and tire rotation back in December, specifically 5 December 2016 for both. I started having some issues with my Town and Country's steering and scheduled a service on 27 January. My appointment was 0740, I arrived on time and ready...I stayed there until 1140am when I got the "diagnosis". Prior to coming in I did relay that the issue as I was able to determine was the steering pump, based on the way the van was acting, the diagnosis was that I needed new Rack and Pinion, Steering pump, front and rear brakes and rotors, brake flush, steering flush, etc. Totaling near $3000.00 in repair. My service agent Victoria (great job on her part)was the conduit of the information on what needed to be done. I asked that she take off the brakes, that there should be nothing wrong with them as I just had a "Multi-Point" inspection conducted the month earlier by the same service department and that it did not mention anything wrong with brakes. She did go and have it removed, stating that the "technician" said that my brakes were "Less than 10% and really need replacing. I noted what she relayed, gave her my contact information to call when the other parts came in so I could bring in the van for repair. I did pay ONLY $145 dollars for someone to tell me that it needed repair Tomorrow is two and a half weeks since I brought in my van and I have heard nothing from the dealership on whether my parts are in or if I even have a time to bring it in for repair. Since then I have had my van checked out by an independent tire and auto mechanic shop that I trust, the first thing out of his mouth was that the tires (60,000 mile Michelins) were badly worn and had not been rotated in what appeared near two years, I have less than 40,000 miles on these high-dollar tires....he showed me the wear pattern of the front versus the rear and sure enough, it is evident that the wear pattern on the front is consistent to one side, indicating no rotation, furthermore, there are not markings, chalk or otherwise on the inside of the tire to indicate where they had been previously...all hallmarks of rotating tires. My brakes do show some wear, but do not need replacing as the wear-indicator is not yet even visible, rotors are fine too... My concern is that I have for years been coming to the dealership and have been asking for a tire rotation (paying for it too?) every 5,000 miles and now I'm having to buy new tires. Of further concern is that this was not picked up during my "multi-point" inspection, which according to Chrysler Inc, is part of the inspection process along with brakes (pads), steering(steering/suspension and fluid), etc. So, if my tires, brakes, rotors and steering were fine 6 weeks earlier according to the report, how has so much gone wrong since then? Or is it perhaps that I am unable to trust the inspection process conducted at the dealership? Now I am concerned that my oil was not changed...or should I be concerned? What about the other two vehicles I bring in for inspection/service...can I trust what I receive as far as service indicated and paid for? Since I have heard nothing back from the dealership I am going to get my van taken care of elsewhere, and I guess in the future my other two vehicle too. Because now I'm concerned that while I have two more free oil changes,(actually already paid for through a "Special" in December) I no longer feel comfortable sitting all day in the service lobby of a dealership whose integrity I now question. I apologize if the tone of this correspondence appears negative, but I have a family whose safety relies on the diligence of the service department, I love Chrysler and am a loyal Chrysler purchaser...I have family that works for Chrysler! Needless to say I am asking that you look into the business practices of your department in order to verify their commitment to quality. Attention; November 30, 2017 This started back a week ago below .......... I have been working with, Mac Haik Flowood CDJR in Flowood, MS. 39232 I have been working on the 2016 Hellcat deal for like a week now. Two (2) days ago I was talking again with (Brandon Seward) Sales Manager. I made them an offer and Brandon had to get the Final Decision from the GM (Will LaGrange). (They have Multiple locations so Will travels between them and is hardly ever in his office at the Flowood Store) Brandon says Terry I'll call you back in 15-minutes buddy after talking to Will. No call back so finally today I decided to Text and Call Brandon as I have his cell number. (Also called his Direct-Line and left a voice message) So, me coming from that world of 20 plus yrs working at dealerships I thought this guy is NOT going to call me back. I'm thinking to myself I bet the Low-Life has sold the Hellcat and that's what is really going on. So I also had the young man's cell number I was working with, (Salesman). I call his cell and he answers and I tell him what's going on and find out he actually took his 1-day off yesterday. He tells me Terry, Brandon said that Hellcat is sold and they are getting ready to deliver it right now. I'm totally Livid as you can well imagine !!! I now decide to track down Will the GM and do in-fact find out he is at the Jackson Dealership per one of the Sales Managers. That sales manager said I''l talk to him in person Terry as I saw him here a little while ago if he is still here. I finally got a call from Will the GM that's over all the stores as I left a message for him at the Jackson Dealership ^^^. I'll try to now shorten this a lot and get to the bottom-line. Brandon tells William (Salesman) and Will (GM) that he called me and I did not answer my cell phone and he left me a message to call him. Talk about a Low-Life lying little Prick !!! I am retired and right here at home and would instantly answer my cell phone if I got a call on it. Also the cell would have notified me if I happened to miss a call as you all know. Will and I did talk for awhile and this is what it came down to. He was NOT going to STOP the transaction even though Brandon lied his ass off on contacting me and giving me 1st right of Refusal. Quote: (Terry it's simple, you were out Bid and we are in the Business to make as much Profit as we can) So, I'm not going to Stop the Transaction and it seems it was poor communication between you and Brandon sorry about that. (But, I'm not going to Stop the Transaction it's to late and Not Fair to the Current Buyer that Out-Bid-You) Even though Brandon had already agreed on the price earlier.
