I have a new favourite spot, right on my doorstep! This place has great coffee at cheap prices, with a lovely atmosphere but a modern decor. A place for hipsters and aul ones alike! With a charming front and back terrace, they make great use of the small space they have. The guys running it are really knowledgeable about coffee and seem to care about quality of product and service (all the hot food/cakes are made fresh on the premises). And again, the prices are unbelievably fair. It's so nice (and rare) to not feel ripped off when I treat myself to go out for lunch. I think this cafe will be a real gem for the community and I will definitely be a regular customer.

After about a 20-minute wait, we were seated in the warm, inviting dining room. Susan ordered the mussels, one of her favorites, while I went with the Traditional Irish Stew and my daughter chose the Braised Beef & Guinness Stew. Both were exactly what we hoped for: hearty, flavorful, and perfect after a day of sightseeing. I finally understood why the Guinness stew had such a rich, dark color, and I have to admit, I came home a big fan of Irish stew. We finished with the Homemade Bread & Butter Pudding topped with fresh cream and custard, a comforting dessert that was the perfect ending to the meal.
