This experience was so fine. The husband had booked the 4-gun package for us. About $220 per person. This entitles you to choose four guns that includes the ammo. I chose a Glock, Uzi, Vector and a Benelli 12 gauge shotgun. The husband chose: the Uzi, SAW, 50 cal S&W, modified AK47 short barrel. You are required to wear hearing and eye protection. Our range master Ed, is a Texas-transplant from Melissa, TX. Personable and does he know his guns. As he loaded and handed you each one, he explains it's mechanism and suggests a firing stance. He stands close to you as you fire to help you maintain control in case you can't. The power of these weapons is awesome!! The Uzi was surprisingly easy to handle. I'd love to own one. You can be arranged to be picked up from and dropped off at your hotel. We chose this and it worked well. Go there when in Vegas. read more

My buddy and I drove up to Vegas for a road trip to Moapa Paiute Travel Plaza and decided to stop by and check out MGV on the way back to OC. Lauren helped us out and got us an appointment and when we got there we lucked out. It was as if we had a private session. Alexis was our wing"woman" and she did an awesome job helping guide us through our package and toys we picked out for our fun time. It was a blast. Totally recommend them. We plan to be back and check out their helicopter Gunship Helicopter experience on our next trip. If you're thinking about whether or not it's worth it, I'd pull the trigger and do it. It made for a really good daytime activity during a recent birthday trip. The instructor is great and makes sure you feel confident, safe, and comfortable. The con is that it's REALLY expensive. The Seal Team 6 package, for example, is $230. You're basically paying $10 per bullet you shoot. read more

Great time. We choose the outdoor shooting which was about 20 minutes off the strip. Super easy to find (if you put the correct address in the GPS). Met with our shooting instructor, got checked in, watched the short safety video and it was off to the range. Two of us shot 5 guns each, we were on the range about 45 minutes. Had metal targets and a few exploding targets for the sniper rifle. Instructor Moe was great. She talked us through everything, gave us tips and pointers, and let us shoot. Turns out that the indoor range was not that far from Wynn, but glad we did the outdoor range. It was early August and was plenty warm, with little shade, but once your shooting, you forget all about the heat. Highly recommend this company, got the company from a friend who had a good experience too, glad we did it. Would definitely go back. read more

I LOST MY GUN VIRGINITY HERE! THIS PLACE IS EPIC!! Came here with a big group of guys (there was 35ish of us) and we had the opportunity to have the place reserved to ourselves. When you walk in you realize instantly this is a place unlike any other. There's real legit guns up the yin yang on the walls and it's awesome for taking pictures. (As you can see!) I had never officially shot a REAL gun before so Machine Guns Las Vegas -- THANK YOU FOR TAKING MY GUN VIRGINITY! I'm no gun expert -- so I actually forgot the actual guns I shot -- but it was two. A bunch of the guys in my group ended up shooting the 1shot 50 caliber (it's the REALLY BIG AND LONG ONE) -- man... that guns an experience in itself!! When you stop in ask for it, no need to thank me. Overall, the staff is super knowledgeable, friendly and happy to educate and answer any of your questions making it an experience you will NOT FORGET! When you get inside the range it's pretty epic as well. Looks exactly as it would in movies (and it's super loud!) -- but don't worry, they give you goggles and headphones to wear while you're inside shooting. They also give you a big target sheet to shoot at which you can keep once you're done shooting. I'm always trying to come up with something cool for my wife's birthday, and this time I surprised her with a trip to MGV. She had no idea that's where we were going until we pulled into the driveway. I had told her to dress as if we were going hiking, to avoid open toed shoes and low cut tops. Both of those are a bad idea here, since there's hot brass flying around, and yes, it WILL leave a mark if it finds it's way inside your clothing. Safety first! We were greeted at the sign in desk by a lovely young lady with bright raspberry hair, who gets us started with the paperwork and selection of guns. Yes, there's paperwork, but it's done electronically, so it goes quick and easy. Photo ID is required, since they're going to be handing you some serious firepower. Yes, you even have to sign the waiver if you're just going to be taking the pictures. Not a problem. Then we go to meet our range instructor. I wish I was better with remembering names, because everyone here deserves a personal shoutout. They were great, but my memory for names isn't. Anyway, we're fitted for earmuffs and safety glasses, both of which you wear AT ALL TIMES inside the shooting range area. This is definitely a place where you want to work with knowledgeable and experienced people, and our guy had that covered. The guns are kept safely locked away until you're ready for them, and they're in great condition, no malfunctions whatsoever. She got the five gun package, and two of the five were full auto. She'd never fired a shotgun before, so she chose the pistol grip shotgun, which was loaded with slugs. I think her favorite was the Uzi. 9mm, full auto. You get to keep your targets as souvenirs, and to show off how well you did. But yeah, she had a great time, and everything was done with safety in mind. Anyone coming in intoxicated or high WILL be sent away. This is definitely someplace we'll want to visit again. read more

I went up to the cashier and asked if I can schedule another machine gun experience but the girl in the front said she was going to check out the people walking out of the shooting range as I was standing in front of her. So I sat at the table and just ordered a second Groupon. As we were waiting we literally heard the girls at the cashier say " We are working for peanuts" referring to our Groupon purchase. She then tried to discourage us from trying it by saying "We usually don't accept groupons on weekends because we're so busy" & proceeded to check us in.
