I've been around firearms for a long time, but American Shooters is easily one of the most welcoming ranges I've visited in Vegas. The staff here is incredibly friendly and welcoming. Even though I'm very experienced, I can see how their attitude makes the environment much nicer for newbies who might be intimidated. The Experience: Process: Super easy--just fill out the waiver on the iPad and they sign you in. RSOs: The Range Safety Officers were great. They were friendly and stayed hands-off once they saw I knew what I was doing. Performance: Ran drills at 10 yards (head) and 25 yards (torso). The lanes are well-lit and the facility is very clean, which makes for a productive session. Value: Hard to beat $24 for the whole day (good until they close). I brought my own guns, ammo, and targets, so for a straight range fee, the value is excellent. Highly recommend this spot whether you're a local or just passing through. This is probably the nicest gun shop with a gun range I've ever visited. They have beautiful, glass enclosed, wall-mounted, displays of the wide variety of handguns, rifles and those in-between, they have for sale. I have my eyes on a Sig Sauer P365 "9mm, Concealed Carry, Compact Pistol" with an optic sight. The courteous salesman "Ryan" promptly showed me just what I was looking for, recommending the "Macro" version, with the included built-in sight, and four 21-round magazines. Have no fear. This is a shop you can definitely rely on for good customer service and a wide variety of guns to fill every need and budget. I highly recommend them. read more

Ok, been here more than a few times .... Yeah, the staff are great, from the front desk staff to the range officers. Everyone is super helpful and I know from experience that when I had a few minor weapon glitches, the range officers were eager to assist and resolve the issue for me. Squidlett has gone with me several times and finally given that she also was impressed, got a six month membership which provides a decent savings over individual day rates. I always bring my own hardware and so does my shooting partner. But she's looking to purchase another weapon and the number of handguns available to try, helped her to make a decision on what she's going to get next. (Their policy for members is to try weapons is free , but you have to use their ammo.. Squidlett also did a ccw class there recently and said the instructor was top notch. This was my first time ever handling guns, so I was a bit nervous at first. Thankfully, my coach/guide was extremely knowledgeable and made sure I felt safe and confident throughout the experience. I went with the handgun package and absolutely had a blast! The Desert Eagle was intense--definitely gave me a headache even with ear protection--but it was so much fun. I've been to American Shooters 5 times in the last year and I highly recommend coming here to get your target practice in. I've done target practice only and so far the entire staff at the registers and in the shooting area watch out for you and come alongside and ask if you need help. I think that's great customer service and it shows that they care about their customers. They also have classes for those who want to learn how to shoot and to learn more about local gun laws etc... The rule here is every time you come to shoot you always have to sign a waiver when you come in for target practice no matter how many times you've been here in the past. I think they have the best pricing if your shooting your own gun and it covers a whole day of shooting . I usually go for no more than two hours and that's usually enough for me. Overall, I think this is a great shooting range and I highly recommend it! read more

I was at the Range, and you have the most amazing line up of firearms to rent and try. The facility is clean and orderly, and the registration process was easy. Most importantly, I enjoyed my experience because of your staff. They are very friendly and knowledgeable. They assisted me with what I wanted to do, introduced themselves and one cannot but feel to be instantly part of a family. I will surely recommend American Shooters to all my friends and family, I will surely return back for more enjoyable experience. There are more firearms that I would like to try. Nice indoor range with good service. The facility is modern and nice. The staff are welcoming and knowledgeable. Check in process and waivers were super easy and fast via iPads. Prices were reasonable for the area. Plenty of variety for firearm rentals, just fyi for rentals you have to buy their ammo. The range was well kept, clean and tidy. I moved to LV to go to the Metro Academy 25 yrs ago. I brought 2 firearms from Shooters and used the range a couple of times. The people working there at that time were so rude, condescending, unfriendly, and disrespectful I did not go back until June 2026. If you hadn't heard, American Shooters was recently purchased by Freedom Firearms off of Durango South of the 215. From what I understand they plan to keep both locations separate for the time being and are in the process of remodeling this location and it should be completed in another month or so. This weekend they had both Daniel Defense and Springfield Armory out and demoed a number of their latest offering free charge. They also gave away free SWAG (Coins, Hats, Keychains, Koozies, Shirts, ...) to all those in attendance. Next weekend they're going to have Canik out for the same. The entire staff is all kind, Informative and professional. The range is maintained veey well, so your not always stepping on casings. They have memberships for a 6 months to a year which are very tempting because you get a lot of perks with that membership. We earned some range passes to American Shooters from several firearm purchases we made at Freedom Firearms. We hadn't gotten around to using the passes yet, but took our CCW course here a few Saturdays ago and had a great experience with Hugo as our instructor. Large facilities, clean restrooms, friendly and helpful staff. Returned the next day for their range demo event, shot some Daniel Defense and Springfield Armory firearms, and entered a raffle drawing. I ended up actually winning the grand prize, the unreleased (at the time) Springfield Kuna PCC 9mm, complete with an Aimpoint red dot! Brian, Ben and everyone there has always been so helpful and knowledgeable. In addition to the indoor range itself, they also have a huge retail selection of guns, gun accessories and ammo.
