This is such a great place to visit if you are with a group of friends. You can be experienced or inexperienced, either way, it is still fun. My friends and I visited this place, and we purchased the Gun Battle Package. In the beginning, you experience two simulations to get you used to what you are shooting. Then when you enter the maze that you will be maneuvering around in, they place a belt over you that emits an electric shock on your lower abdomen. You can choose the level of shock that you want to feel, the higher the level, the more you will feel it (shock level ranges 1-5). Each time that you are shot, you will feel the shock; therefore, there is no space in between. Whereas laser-tag takes time to reset itself before you can shoot or feel again. The game continues and you continuously feel a shock each time you are hit & you will still be able to shoot with no relapse. You fire real guns, and the bullets are blanks, but still have the powder in them (this is why you still wear the goggles) from my understanding. It's also a fun way to put your skills to the test if you are a regular shooter because you are not shooting at targets or metal plates. You are required to move around, use the skills that you learned, and shoot at a target that shoots back. You feel your adrenaline rushing through your body. You are even allowed to purchase a recording of your experience, which is worth it to look back at for memories. I completed 4 different shooting events: 3 with the laser simulators using a pistol and an AR-15 and 1 run through the combat maze. The combat maze totally rocked! I squared off with one of the staff members with an AR-15 with reflex optic. Each time you get his by an opponent, you feel a shock from your vest registering the hit. Describing this as real laser tag does it no justice. You are firing REAL hand guns and rifles with police/military style blanks (unsure how accurate I'm stating that, but was cool nonetheless). So guns have a bit of kick back and shells do fly out as you fire. There are several options for play. Virtual Trainer - Basically help you understand aim and grip. (Non-Ammo gun) Session Simulation Room - In a room with a wall size screen that you shoot anything from Zombies to House Invasion simulations (This is with the real style guns) Shoot House Mission - I think this is where you go into an arena/maze and shoot targets there. Shoot House Gun Battle - Ultimate Fun. They give you a shock belt that can be set from 1-5 depending on how much of jolt you want from being shot. Guys are typically a 3 and ladies are a 1, but completely up to you. (Note: my sis was a badass and didn't even flinch on a 3. Me, well, ummm, we won't talk about it.). Anyway, this is in an arena/maze where you can shoot at each other, chest/body area only and receive a jolt of hit. Sounds terrifying, but is incredibly fun. A good fun way to settle some sibling rivalries. Highly recommend checking this place out. Good for kids 8 and Up, but the staff is more than willing to accommodate those with younger. So I came to Las Vegas with the boys for a stag party. It was a pretty hot day and we just didn't want to do the normal "pool party" thing. This place is so awesome! I went with two others to shoot some zombies and got so much more. When we arrived we decided to do the combo package because it includes a bit of everything. Its difficult to describe the experience here. Its like gaming but with real guns. We did the a home invasion scenario with a real Glock and a zombie shooting experience with real AR 15's. I've never shot an AR and it was tons of fun. I love the red dot sight. Since we are a bit competitive it was about who was the best shot. All the ammo is non lethal so its totally safe which is important to me. However the highlight of the visit was the maze. We walked through and shot at targets with real guns that shot projectiles. But then the owner offered to upgrade us to the stress vests for free and compete against each other, we just had to pay for the rounds. Its like lazer tag for grown ups - real guns, non lethal ammo, and you get either a shock or vibration if your opponent hits you. It also keeps track of how many times you get shot and I'm happy to say I beat the boys twice. This is what they use in police and military training. I wish the had something like this in SoCal, its so much fun and you get a great adrenaline rush. I also can't say enough about the owner and staff. They took their time to explain everything, make sure you're safe and having a great time. Absolutely the best customer service. I would give them more than 5 stars if I could. Highly recommended, I had an absolutely amazing time here! As a concierge, I have the opportunity of experiencing our city as a tourist and have tried practically everything. Top Shot was by far the most fun I've had here in Las Vegas! To start, the customer service is outstanding. I'm a novice with guns, my brother is experienced and enjoys frequenting ranges. The instructors there made us both feel very comfortable and welcome, giving me thorough direction while not being redundant with my brother. The first thing we did was the Virtual Trainer which is where they will ensure you know how to properly hold the gun. This is done with a weighted, video game style gun that gives the feel of a real gun. We then went to the Simulation Room, they fitted us with a vest to put our clips in. They gave us another gun and instructed that this would be a home invasion simulation. The gun was heavy, similar to the gun I had used for the virtual trainer. When the shell came flying out during practice it was very thrilling because I had the great combination of using a real gun while playing video games (a gamers dream! woot!). The shells they use are a specialty non-lethal ammunition. After the home invasion simulation we went on to Zombies with a rifle and that was my favorite of the two. (I love zombie games) At this point I'm already having the time of my life and was extremely excited to do the high voltage gun battle with my brother. The instructor stated most ladies choose a one and most gentleman choose a three. I wasn't about to let my brother outdo me so I chose a three as well. They test out the shock level before you play by shooting you. Level three was very tolerable until you get shot in the back 3 times in a row by your older brother in the arena lol! (He got me 8 times total, no mercy.) They have yearly memberships that you can purchase $100 for the year, then you just pay for the ammo (which I will be doing on my next visit). There is also a ladies night every 3rd Tuesday and the price is very reasonable. TLDR; If you like guns and/or video games, go! It's an absolute must! read more

My husband and I had family come in time and was looking for something fun to do during this pandemic! Top shot was it for sure!!! We had a fairly large group, 6 adults, 3 teens. Gino was very professional, great personality, thorough in explaining everything! Gino helped make our time at top shot enjoyable and memorable! We did the gun fight. Because of our large group and the gunfight area isn't that large so we split into two groups. The target practice before the gunfight was just as fun and competitive! If you don't purchase extra ammo for the gunfight you are sure to run out of the 15 rounds before the 30 minutes are up. Another highlight was being able to record your gunfight, for a small fee you'll get a flash drive to take with you. I contemplated taking a star off because a couple of the vests we wore during the gunfight were kind of weak. When someone shoots you the vests kind of shocks you which isn't as bad as it may sound, but it will definitely make the gunfight more competitive! Also one of the teens said he only fired his gun 4 times and was out of ammo. Had he spoken up we could have addressed it then. Also we booked online, it doesn't specify online that there's a gratuity for large groups so we had to pay extra when we arrived. However it was in writing when we arrived. Lastly, if you're a stickler about COVID and sanitation practices then don't go. I suggest you due your own due diligence and wash/sanitize your hands after. It will be hard wearing a mask in the gunfight. Overall I would recommend Top Shot to anyone, you won't be disappointed! read more

Went there for a fun concierge event. Staff was great and super patient. Especially with me since I have zero skill in the whole gun department. It was really a great way to learn since there wasn't real ammo. Took away a lot of the intimidation factor for a novice like me. From what they explained, this is a simulation of what is used for actual police academies and armed security training. There were lots of different simulation courses to switch things up and keep us on our toes. The guns are loaded with some type of fake ammo that is non toxic and still provides a recoil action to make you feel like you are firing a real gun. The whole staff was amazing and took lots of time to help with corrections and assistance. They also have a great annual membership where you only pay $100 for the year which includes the use of equipment and you can come as often as you like. I did the Zombie Survival package, with an extra mag of munitions to run through the zombie course and I would recommend this real gun with man marker ammo (simulation training type) activity to anyone who enjoys shooting pistols and rifles. Online booking was easy, even for same day. You go through a training aim set of video game type run, then a rifle and pistol skill test with a zombie video game sort of thing, the a shoot house maze with stationary targets. This was perfect for someone who has physical challenges (bad knees, etc.) but still wants the chance to shoot zombies. Our guide was personable, helpful, and helped to make the experience awesome.
