I've come here countless times and never had something off the menu that I didn't like. You can't go wrong with any of the burritos, nachos, or breakfast platters. My favorites are the carne asada burrito, the machaca burrito, the colmbian chorizo breakfast burrito, ANY of the quesadillas or nachos. Make sure to try the homeade salsas, I could come here just for the salsa verde alone. For the adventurous they do have tacos de cabeza and I've tried the lengua tacos, they're okay but I'll stick to my go-to's I mentioned before. My overwhelming feeling about Macho Nacho is that their food is just bland. Certain dishes are definitely better than others, but I can't try everything on the menu to figure that out. I ate here last night. I had the taco special, buy 3 get 1 free. The chicken tacos essentially came with a pencil shavings worth of cheese, like I barely noticed cheese being present at all. Also, just...lettuce. The chicken was nearly overcooked and completely tasteless. The waitress brought some hot sauce to me, that was nice. But no pico de Gallo. stopped in here on New Years Day for some hangover burritos (that's what I call post-drinking mexican food, which i swear will cure your hangover in 30 minutes or less. seriously.) First of all, it was one of few places we found open and not packed on New Years Day. Second of all................holy hell was the food good! I was full and happy, and my hangover was gone. what more could I ask for? My friends all had something different -- breakfast quesedilla (i tried it, yummy), breakfast sandwich (taylor ham, egg and cheese, kind of hard to mess up in the first place), chicken burrito, etc etc. They all raved about the food -- and it was CHEAP!!! oh, and the staff was very nice, considering it was New Years Day and they must have been annoyed to have to serve all us drunks (well, we weren't drunk, but that group of hipsters that came in after us sure was.........) A decent step up from Taco Bell I suppose, but not close to respectable Mexican food. Last week I was really in the mood for some Mexican food so I decided to go to the nearest Mexican restaurant with a buddy. Thought about maybe hitting up Qdoba for a naked burrito, but wanted to switch it up so I asked my friend who works in Morristown if he knew of a good spot, and he suggested Macho Nacho. It's basically your standard no frills hole in the wall, but it has plenty of parking since it is part of a shopping center, which is a plus. My friend suggested we get the black beans and carnitas. It was Taco Tuesday, which means we got four carnitas instead of three (#winning). We got our food pretty quickly even though it was fairly busy. Beans were pretty good, fresh, well seasoned and yummy. The other plus I must mention here is the fact that you have the opportunity to order literally whatever you want; which means you don't have to even read the menu if you feel like it. For example, my buddy ordered beans with rice, and later she told them to add lettuce, corn, salsa, sour cream, and cheddar with her carnitas. So, you can have any combination you want! They also came with guacamole on top and there was a lot of meat unlike some other fast food mexican places which skimp out and make you pay extra for a healthy sized serving. They can also be served with rice, but I asked them for no rice this time. Prices are pretty reasonable, ~$10 a person. Overall, this place hit the spot for me. I liked pretty much everything, except the fact it was crowded and kind of hectic. Luckily, we got there earlier than most so we didn't have to wait too long. Also, service was good and food was there pretty quickly. Staff was friendly and nice and everything we had was delicious. I understand why people talk about this place. If you're on a diet, it's not the place for you, because you can get tempted to gorge your face off. The only real downside is that it could have been a little cleaner, especially the table tops. All in all, great place to go if you are in Morristown and want so satisfy your cravings for cheap, fast Mexican food. read more

Great post MTBiking lunch! The Danny O' Burrito is superb. The right amount of chicken and chorizo gives it enough saucy moisture to the burrito that makes your mouth water! Try it with the house red sauce! It is amazing. The place is in a small strip mall and is nothing fancy, but it is as authentic as a Mexican burrito you can find in CA. When I'm in Morristown area this is my go to place for Mexican food. Not only is this place good, the prices are reasonable. Ordered: Macho Nacho (small) - This is rather on the larger size for me. There are tons of tops on the nachos including meats, pico de gallo, guacamole and more (I can't remember everything on it). Carne Asada Tacos (soft) - The steak is grilled and it can be slightly on the dry side. I wish they cut the meat smaller so it'll be easier to bite on. They topped the tacos with guacamole at no additional cost. It's still a delicious taco. I wouldn't recommend taking the soft tacos to go because the tortilla gets soggy. Chicken Tamales - For $2.50 the tamale is on the bigger size! I'm used to smaller tamales but they give you a lot. There is a lot of flavors in the tamale and if you get the chicken one watch out for bones! Plantains - This is my "dessert" when it comes to plantains. I always asked for the cream on the side and the plantains comes out so delicious and sweet. Overall, this is a good place to stop by for decent Mexican food in Morristown. It's so close to the train station that I would order my food to go. Cheap eats at good prices. read more

This place may be on the verge of becoming one of those places that no one goes to anymore because you can't get in. As I'm placing my order for a lonely Burrito, I'm told the wait is 20 minuets. Another issue I had was that an order made much later was moved up because they were friends of the order taker. Bring your own Pico de Gallo because theirs is a total RIP OFF. Horrible customer service tonight. Jon- you should listen. I tried calling between 9:40 pm up until 9:55 pm. Every time it rang and went straight to a busy signal. I walked in at 9:55 pm- I asked for two ranchero burritos- I was told "I am sorry we are closed. We are having problems with the kitchen." I responded: "It doesn't look like you have a problem to me". There were at least 10 people eating in the restaurant. On your front window it says "open late". You should take this down. I told the girl: " I will let Jon know." She replied: "go ahead." I have been eating at your place for 10 years. I came here a few times when they first opened (pre-Titos Burritos, my local comparison for Tex-Mex food) and was totally unimpressed, but based on the reviews of my fellow Yelpers, gave it another try today. First, they have expanded the menu to include many breakfast items (omelets, breakfast quesadillas, many bagel choices and egg platters). The daily menu is also very large, including fillings from the usual, to slightly unusual (Mexican Chorizo, machaca- shredded beef with eggs) to the more unusual (oysters). They serve these fillings in the mire usual burritos, tacos, quesadilas to the less common chimichangas to tortas (Mexican sandwiches on a roll), as well as some more standard deli offerings (turkey club, tuna salad and Caesar salad wrap). I was definately more impressed today. The guac tgat came with the nachos was very good. The cheese though was only ok. The chorizo on my Macho Nachos was not my fav, i might have liked it more without it. Definately worth another look....will update then. read more

I was around morristown with my friends and i started having those tamale cravings i have every week. It was my mistake to go here for tamales. There was practically a whole chicken breast in my tamale, it wasn't wrapped up, there were Chunks of potato is the masa it was just a wreck! So upset with that. Also the guacamole didn't taste tasty OR FRESH. My two friends got the shredded beef quesadilla, and at first moments they were raving about it but as we were walking to our cars my one friend became nauseous and barfed all I'm the parking lot while my other friend became over powered with an intense stomach pain. I have been searching for a delicious mexican food place in NJ ever since moving here and Macho Nacho fulfills that craving! Being from TX and having had lots of mexican food, I would actually give this place a 3.5 stars but I can't so 4 will do as well. This place has great tacos and enchiladas. You get 3 tacos for 6$!! This is a very casual place...the food is served in paper plates. You HAVE to add the green salsa on whatever you get (ask for it if it isn't on the table)- soo good! Good customer service as well. The food is excellent and the breakfasts are particularly good. Food is very reasonably priced, but customer service leaves something to be desired. There is one young man who is friendly, polite and attentive, but the other staff often seem like they can't be bothered. Often they don't even say hello, just look at you waiting for your order. When it's busy, waiting for your food can take a while, 20 minutes or more. Depending on who preps the to go hot sauce containers, they can be anything from 3/4 full to barely a spoonful. Walked in on a Saturday late morning just on a hunch that a little spot such as this appeared quite promising. Ordered a carne asada burrito and an order of nachos (plus a soda), which totaled something around $11... So, not too pricey. First, the burrito. I'd give the burrito alone a solid four or five stars, as it was absolutely delicious and well-seasoned. The sauces they serve it with aren't anything special, but they compliment the flavor quite well. Now, the bad... The nachos. How hard can it be to make a plate of nachos? When I order nachos & cheese at a Mexican restaurant such as this, I would typically expect the "cheese" aspect to refer to queso. Not here. Their version of nachos & cheese consists of a jumble of chips with microwave-melted cheddar and mozzarella cheese on top. By the time I'd brought it home (5 minutes away), the cheese had solidified so much that they were almost inedible. Wouldn't order again. The burrito is what counts, though, and it was delicious. My jeans wish I didn't like this place so much. I've tried several but keep coming back for the Danny O. It's a great starter (and finisher and next day) burrito. Any of them come out the size of The Rock's forearm and the integrity of the wrap is never compromised by its overstuffed-ness. (Yes, these burritos warrant a new word to be added to the OED.) My only complaint is that, sometimes, the ratios are off, usually leaning toward too much rice. But no matter, they're always delicious, because, really, if you're going to eat a burrito are you really going to complain about more carbs? Some of the best Mexican food I've ever had, if not the best. I typically get the shredded beef burritio and it is incredible. The beef is soft and flavourful, and the rice in the burrito is also seasoned well. The cheese blends nicely and is enough to know there's cheese there without be overpowering. Their chips seem homemade and are super tasty and the sauces they have of the red and green variety go well on the burrito as well. They have a nice heat to them. The prices here are very reasonable, and the portions are really good. You won't come away hungry from a meal here. What I really appreciate is the fact that if you get a burrito to go, they also include chips and sour cream with it, which is extremely nice as being a college student I typically could not supply my own sour cream if I took the burrito away, so it's nice that they don't detract from what you get with the meal just because you ordered it to-go. This place is addicting, and their dishes are so flavourful that I want to try more. They have such a great selection of Mexican dishes to choose from and variations on each that you could eat here for weeks and never have the same thing twice. read more
