Hole in the wall, confirmed. But a clean, friendly, no frills hole, with reasonably priced, delicious food and quick service. Hubby got the Dulce Carnita burrito - I had a bite, it was delicious and a generous portion. I ordered beef tacos. When you purchase 3 you get 1 free- nice surprise. The soft taco was meh, mostly because of the tortilla itself: not very flavorful and didn't hold up well to the taconess. I'll be sticking with crunchy shell next time, which was not bad, and the beef etc had reasonable portion although I always like a little extra cheese (make sure you ask for it if you're the same way). Overall good flavor, and lettuce was fresh. Don't forget to take some of their various salsas. Definitely worth revisiting. read more

There is a lot of good food here and be sure to grab a Mexican soda from the fridge. My definite favorites are the cheese steak burrito, fire bird burrito (hot), and buffalo chicken quesadilla. Really love the food here. It's well made and good quality. My favorite order is to get the tacos (hard shell with chicken and chorizo). That mix always has me coming back for more. Haven't been able to find a better taco fix anywhere else. Portions are definitely generous and I recommend putting chorizo in anything. They should deliver to me. The burritos are amazing! If you're a fan of spice, definitely try the red hot sauce. It is definitely one of the best hot sauces I've ever had. Their lunch special of buy one burrito get a second one half off is a great deal. My only complaint is that there isn't a lot of lettuce that comes with the burrito, so if you're a veggie fan, I recommend getting a veggie burrito and adding meat, which is what I'll be doing next time. read more

Been eating here for years and love their tacos. Great authentic flavor. Get the hard tacos with carne asada and carnitas. They come with guac which is a nice touch and makes it. It escalated from there, I was coming over all the time and we really had a solid thing going. But then you gave me fishy fish tacos once and I had to back off a bit. So I still came by, I forgave you, ordered other stuff off the menu. Kept coming back. But last night you really burned me and I think I have to end things. Used to love it. They have a lot of choices and give a lot of food for low price. Although lately every time I order food to go it's messed up. Whenever I ask for anything well done, it doesn't happen unless I sit in and eat there. They always end up adding something that I wouldn't ask to my order which thank god I don't have any food allergies. Today was the last time I will be going there. Young teenage guy working there was extremely rude to me. I called in and ordered. When I came to pick it up, I specifically said "I am picking up a call in for a chicken quesadilla" so he rung me up for it and said "for here or to go" I was confused bc if I called it in so obviously I was taking it to go. . So I said to go. I called it in. Then he argued with me about why I said to go and didn't tell him I called it in. I said to him I did, I said I was picking up a call in order and he just kept arguing with me bc he made a mistake. I probably frequent this little slice of heaven once a week, its veggie burrito is to die for (someone else's review cited lack of beans, but the beans are refried beans so maybe you missed them?). My gf gets the veggie burrito asking for black beans instead of refried, which is also amazing. The veggie tacos are amazing too. And if you're brave so is the spicy veggie burrito (tasty as heck but a bit too much heat for me). Macho is really quite excellent and far exceeds other places in town or nearby, this review is way overdue. Ample different sauces for eat-in or take out supplement the ample flavors of the food (people with bad reviews about blandness are just doing it wrong), with at least a chipotle sauce (my go-to), a green sauce, and a hot sauce. You'll be full with their veggie burrito, like good full, not like 'I just ate a T-bone steak and am jammed up' full. The staff are super friendly and competent and know my order by now which is impressive given how popular the place is. They also move through the orders incredibly fast so don't be discouraged if there are a few people in line to place orders when you get there. They have deals (I think Nachos on Monday, Tacos on Tuesday, Burritos on Wednesday) but the prices are inexpensive enough in general without the deals that I don't make much effort to get there on particular days (hopefully that doesn't sound snobbish). The point is it's a fairly low price point, with excellent quality good healthy food (granted I only order vegetarian food). Best to take the food out since it is in a busy area of Morristown and is fairly inexpensive, so you don't exactly get a fancy steakhouse clientele of people who at least pretend to be clean, but if you don't care about the ambience or your neighbors, eat right in there. read more
