    The bill

I was craving ceviche made out of something other than a cheap farmed fish. This location offers Corvina as an option with a $5 dollar up charge. The ceviche was tough, not particularly fresh, and the accompanying corn was chewy and tasteless. It was shocking when I got the bill. One isn't even paying for the ambience. The TV was blaring in the background with some silly game show. I was the only customer in the place. That should've been my indication. The following day I went to Dr. Limon just a fee blocks away and got the same dish for 30% cheaper and 100% fresher. This place got me once. They'll never get me again.

Cozy restaurant in the Kendall area. Good service. Small but cozy. Good tasting food.

Ordered delivery at 8:15pm through Doordash. Food never came. Got a notification at 8:51 that it was left outside, with a darkened photo, because I was 'not available'. No attempt to call me on my cell or even a call from the gate, which has to happen. Looked for the food, nowhere to be found. Treat people like humans, not dogs and don't leave there food somewhere outside for anything / anyone to grab without calling and saying you are lost. I must have been the last order because they called at 9pm and I couldn't even call the restaurant to tell them what happened. Driver was Gabriela from Doordash.

    Lomo saltado and picarones

I love this Peruvian restaurant, being Peruvian it made me miss the different tastes of my rich Peruvian gastronomy. the food was wonderful and I ordered a sautéed loin and it is the best, I recommend it always and more in this place that makes it perfect on the other hand I asked for some picarones and what a delight, years ago that I did not taste and it reminded me when I was in my country. apart from that it is worth emphasizing the attention and service whenever I go the attention is what causes me to stay in the restaurant; they always serve you with joy and everything is so beautiful the decoration also combines with the dishes and the attention. 100/10 to this restaurants and for more restaurants like that

We ordered the Lomo Saltado (sauce to die for), cerviche mixto, and the grilled chicken. We were served warm bread and a special butter before the meal. So good! My chicken was pounded flat and sautéed in spices and was delish. We had no real on left for dessert, but maybe next time, as we'll be back.

This little joint is located really close to my home and we have been there several times. I have always enjoyed it but I feel lately they have been putting their game face because the food has improved. Located on sunset drive and off 107 avenue is a little cozy restaurant that serves traditional and affordable Peruvian food. We decided to have a light dinner and ordered their fish ceviche, cow heart skewers, and grilled fish fillet. The ceviche was amazing, the fish was very fresh and the dish was not spicy at all. I would always recommend to order it not spicy so you can enjoy the flavor of the juice with the fish. The ceviche also includes corn, fried corn, and one of the sweetest potatoes I had in a while. The cow heart skewers was very tender and well seasoned, sometimes you think you are just eating bits of steak instead of a organ. The dish also includes golden crisp potatoes which goes really well with the green chili sauce. The main entree was the grilled fish with the red onion sauce called salsa Criolla, the fish was very tasty but not salty since we had the red onion to give it the extra kick. Take advantage of their lunch special which is seven dollars and it includes one plate and a side soup or salad.

When I visit my family in MIami, we have dinner at Machu Picchu. They know my cousin here since she comes in with her family every week. We are seafood lovers and love ceviche, so we look forward to it each time. We usually let my cousin order for the table and split the dishes. We were very impressed by the Ceviche de Langosta y Pulpo ordered by another table, so we got that. It's an award winner and for good reason. They serve an entire lobster and octopus in a wonderful ceviche marinade sauce. We ordered the Carafe of Sangria, which was very good with the ceviches. My guy likes to order the different Peruvian beers and ordered a Cristal and Cusquena during dinner. We also had the Jalta Mixta, Lomo Saltado and Leche de Tigre Ceviche. The whole table was happy and sharing all of the plates, family style. The dinners are always worth the cost and so very delicious, especially if you love seafood. Please build a Machu Piccu in California, preferably in my neighborhood. You would see me here every week too.

Ceviche Mixto C/Corvina, forgot to photograph it before I started eating!

AMAZING!!! This spot…read morehas quickly become a new favorite of mine. As someone who follows a plant-based lifestyle, it's not always easy finding Latin restaurants that don't use animal products in their beans, so I was pleasantly surprised to learn that they don't. And when I tell you these are the BEST restaurant beans I've ever had, I mean it. WOW. We actually discovered this place by accident two weeks ago when the restaurant we originally planned to visit was closed on a Monday. We needed something nearby, so I jumped on Yelp, saw the great reviews, and decided to give it a try. I wasn't expecting much, but I was completely impressed. Everything we've tried has been simple, fresh, and delicious. The Ensalada Turca is my favorite and an absolute must-try. The jugo de mora is incredibly refreshing, and the sopa de frijoles with rice and maduros hit the spot so much that I ordered it both visits. The staff is warm, welcoming, and attentive, always making sure you have everything you need. The restaurant itself is small and unassuming, decorated with beautiful cultural touches. The music playing in the background instantly took me back to my childhood, reminding me of the songs my mom and grandma used to play on the radio at home. Overall, this is a hidden gem that's absolutely worth seeking out. We've already been back twice, and we'll definitely be returning again.

Solid Colombian comfort food that sancocho hit the spot!…read moreStopped in for lunch and left very satisfied. I ordered the Sancocho de Costilla and it was packed with tender beef rib, yuca, potato, carrot, plantain, and corn in a rich, flavorful broth. The portion was generous and tasted homemade perfect for a hearty meal. I paired it with a fresh beets salad and crispy tostones on the side. The tostones were perfectly fried (golden and crunchy), and the avocado + lime on the plate added a nice fresh touch. Everything came out hot and well-seasoned. Nothing fancy about the setting, but the food delivers that authentic Colombian taste. Service was friendly and quick. Great value for the portion sizes. Will be back to try more items next time

On the outside it's a little unassuming even though the plaza itself is nice, but the decor inside was elegant. Our server was really friendly. Unfortunately, she di forget to bring into our appetizer. But we even forgot until after we were eating dinner so we didn't say anything (and it turns out it wasn't on the check either). We went at around 8:30 pm on a Friday night and there were only a few other tables, it they're open until 3am so we assume it is more of a late night spot. We both thought the food was incredible though. I had salmon (which was cooked to perfection) and cilantro rice. I ordered vegetables (zucchini, tomatoes, and broccolini) which were also surprisingly tasty. My husband had the mofongo. It was just different from the typical Puerto Rican mofongo in that didn't come with sauce other than some garlic sauce, but the taste was still great. He also liked the chicken that came with it. We will def be returning here in the future!

You walk in and it's just brimming with stuff ALL over the place. It's like a fever dream, but in a good way. Since we walked in it was packed and there was music which definitely set the vibe. Was a little hard to talk, but it made you want to dance the whole away through. The food is priced great and delicious. It took a little while, but completely understandable and the wait time was convenient for how packed the place was. The only reason I'm giving a four instead of a five was the service was a LITTLE slow. I understand again they were doing as good a job as possible for how packed the place was, but I had asked for water when our server took our order and I didn't get water till every single person at our table had to reask for water and I finally got some post meal. Our server was really nice, but again, took a while to get water, but we got another round of sangria and received those before the water. The place was bumping and people were dancing and having a good time. I would MAYBE check this place out again on a slower day. I hear they have mariachi!
