First off, the service is top notch. The staff are friendly, attentive, and make you feel right at home -- exactly what you want when you're starting your day. Special thanks to Katy ! The food? Everything I've tried for breakfast has been straight-up delicious. No misses here. My favorites? The Capuccino and the Pan de Bono!! And for desert , the passion fruit mousse ! And the vibe is just so inviting -- super family-friendly, It's relaxed, comfortable, and has that warm neighborhood feel that's hard to find these days.

It fills the space in the best way possible and immediately pulls you in for the full experience. One thing that really stood out to me was the customer service. The staff was genuinely friendly and welcoming, which, unfortunately, hasn't always been my experience at other Colombian restaurants. Many places I've visited primarily speak Spanish, which can sometimes make ordering a challenge. Here, I felt completely at ease and well taken care of. We started with the beef empanadas, and I highly recommend them. The crust was perfectly crispy, while the filling was soft, flavorful, and comforting. Paired with their salsa, which had just the right kick of spice, it was an excellent combination that made for a strong start to the meal. I ordered my go-to favorite, the Bandejita. The presentation was beautiful and appetizing, but sadly, the bold flavors I'm used to just weren't quite there for me. The flat steak tasted under-seasoned, and I actually found myself adding salt, which I've never had to do before at other restaurants. The pork sausage also seemed a bit dry inside, but my husband said that's how it should be, so perhaps that was just my preference. The beans had a different flavor than what I'm accustomed to as well, not bad by any means, just noticeably different. On a positive note, the pork belly was perfectly crispy, exactly how it should be, and the plantains were sweet and cooked to perfection. Overall, the menu looks incredibly tempting, and there are still plenty of dishes I'd love to come back and try. While I may skip the Bandejita next time, I definitely plan on returning to explore more of what they have to offer.

The food was excellent and fast service. It wasn't crowded when we went on a week day for lunch. The music was not loud but pleasant. I order and decided to dine there as it was quiet. I even added items at the end and they quickly cooked it and bagged it. I plan to return and recommend it.

The cuisine: My wife is from Venezuela and tells me this is authentic Colombian Empanadas and arepas. My family loves both of these options and go and grab them to eat whenever we are headed out to go shopping or run errands and need a mea. Amazing finger food for the car or if you want to stay and eat it there, there are picnic tables. There is more to menu to explore but we haven't gotten that far but are looking forward to it. Ordering: We give her a call at her number on her Facebook page and order and pick it up because she makes everything fresh. So far I think this is the best way but at her location she does have a place to sit and eat and order. Next time my family goes I will take some more pictures of the food to share.

I had a pretty mixed experience here. We came here on a Thursday afternoon to work for a few hours…read more- it was pretty much completely empty. Pros: -Super cute interior and welcoming outside patio with vibrant art. -Nice parking lot and heart-shaped bike stands -Good Wi-Fi Neutral: -The language barrier is pretty rough. Almost every word I said was misinterpreted - which I can't really knock a place for, but my order came out incorrect. -Not much A/C circulating inside. It's not uncomfortable per say, but your face does get sweaty inside. Cons: -The staff do have a very "can't be bothered" attitude, which doesn't actually bother me too much. Maybe they would have given more attention if I spoke Spanish, lol. -I wanted to try one of the Pandebono or Pandeyuca but they were out of both :( and most of the other pastries, as it seemed. -The chicken empañadas ($6 for 2) were pretty tasty and filling, but were swimming in a puddle of grease. Overall, this spot has potential with a few tweaks, but I'm not sure I'd come back.

The space was a bit bigger (they've since redesigned it smaller), but the crowds were smaller. Success hasn't tarnished their food. It was a very rainy and soggy afternoons and the place was packed. We managed a table and ordered. Can't go wrong with the delicious shrimp mofongo. I honestly think the sauce is the icing on that cake, made all the more delicious with a squeeze of lemon. Whew! Service was fast and dinner came out at a reasonable pace. The owner is so friendly and stopped by our table to make sure things were good. Better than good! If you're in the Willowbrook area do yourself a favor and stop in for lunch or dinner. Prices are a little steep, but what's isn't these days?

I ordered the pollo guisado and moro, both were good and we have a little left over. My partner ordered the pica pollo and the fried chicken was decent. The food does take some time, and servers did not check in too often so I would recommend ordering ahead of time (unless you have a long lunch break), There are plenty of tables, but it is a little dark inside, 2 bathrooms inside. The juice was on the sweet side so just watered it down (wish they have smoothies), but they get 5 stars overall for the flavor and the price point. Plenty of parking as it's in located along other stores.
