So i'm super conflicted with this Macys. Their selection is so poor, and its really hard to find anything decent in the women's department. The children department is also terrible but their men's department seems to be pretty well stacked. However, Im giving them 3 starts because their staff is super friendly and helpful. There's a girl that works the register in the kids/home department who is an absolute pleasure. She is always willing to help, always super nice and pleasant and just offers great costumer service. Her service is definitely 5 starts, the selection of the store is 1 star and hence how we arrived at 3 stars. I only shop at this location if I need to purchase something for my husband or in a pinch. Otherwise, location in Park Meadows is much better. read more

WILL NOT REFUND ORDER THAT WAS NEVER SHIPPED TO ME I ordered 2 blouses on Macys.com that were supposed to be shipped via UPS in August. They did not arrive after 3 weeks. I was going on a month long vacation so I thought they would arrive while I was gone. They did not. I went down to the store who called the Macys.com phone number for me. The man I spoke to (Joshua) said my refund would be issued in 3-4 days. When I got my credit card statement there was no refund. I called Macys.com again and was told by David that I could not get a refund since it was now over 30 days. I'm disputing with my credit card company hoping to get my $66 back. It is so ridiculous since when you press the Track Package button on my order it clearly shows nothing was ever shipped. Lifetime Macys customer that will never shop there again. read more

This is a sad store, and when I walk thru it, makes me feel even more sad. The female section is fair, but the pops men's section, it's sparse and limited. Men's section always looks like the the day after Christmas; bare and empty. What about the furniture dept? Never see anyone in there and when I've walked thru it, overpriced, wow!! My wife and I visited this store yesterday. My first time. The service we received was abysmal! We were ignored by the employee who saw us walk-in, who knew we needed help, and who acted totally BOTHERED when we walked up to her and specifically asked if she could assist us! really? I felt like walking right out of this business and NEVER coming back! This is Macy's after all. A supposedly high-end store where you expect exemplary service and products. It's a shame understand the supply chain issues but other Macys have a better selection, why Is Colorado Springs considered a lower tiered city? Little known secret...Macy's is the perfect place to buy brand name fashion T shirts that you won't see anyone else in. I stop in here ever month or so to see what T-Shirts are on sale. They range from $7.50 to $15, are unique and fit well. I came here after spending a few minutes in The Gap. The Gap's T Shirts went for 25 bucks...how lame! read more

I purchased some items online for a great deal and selected to pick them up in store instead of having them shipped. When I began walking around looking for the pickup area, I obviously looked confused and an employee approached me. I told her what I was looking for and she guided me to the right direction. So you pick up the items downstairs in housewares in the registry area. Cathy was working there when I arrived to the counter. She was very friendly and retrieved my items promptly. I had my baby in a stroller and hadn't planned well on how I was going to get a toaster oven and a crockpot to the car. Cathy offered to have me get my car and she would meet me by the door. I pulled my car around and she loaded the items into the car. This was definitely above and beyond in the customer service department. Plus it was super easy to order online and pick up in store! read more

I went to pick up my curbside order, checked in even called the # to let the girl know that I was there. Waited over 20 minutes and ended up going inside to the young lady telling me how sorry she was while she's looking out the window at my car.. this is the only store that I've had to go into for my own curbside pickup! read more

Is there a hiring requirement of only employing stuck up people or ghosts? You either can't find anyone or they act like you're bothering them when you're ready to check out. I actually had another customer ask me if I worked there cause she couldn't find an associate lol! Let's just say that I walked in happy-go-lucky and walked out pissed off and irritated. Let me start by saying I found a beautiful dress for a reasonable price. However, the rest of the experience was horrible. The dressing rooms were old, dirty, and broken down. The friend I was with had her four year old with us. When she fell and hit her head on a piece of metal in the dressing room, bleeding profusely, it felt like the staff cared more about the dress my friend was wearing than the bleeding child (we promptly paid for the dress before leaving). Before we left, they handed us a business card and told us someone would call soon. Someone did call the next day and let us know someone would be following up with her the next day. It's been a week and we have heard nothing. Not only that, when my brother went back to buy the dress I was trying on, they were rude and snotty. I will avoid this Macy's in the future. read more

For a department store with reasonable prices, Macy's is pretty good. Items are mass-produced and most are manufactured overseas (ie, China) and may seem a little costlier than at other department stores. At the same time, however, Macy's products tend to be fashionable, current, and tagged with well-known brand names. Whenever Macy's has sales, the sales are actually great; for instance, just this last weekend some of their bedding products were at least 50% off, and we got a king-sized bedskirt, down comforter, and comforter cover for a bit less than $300. My experience with customer service at this Chapel Hills Mall location has been top-notch. Staff members make themselves known, but then stay out of our way until we have questions. Six months ago we needed to order some pants, and the employee helpfully accessed the electronic inventory to find the right model and size before ordering it for us right then and there. The package shipped to our house directly for free, and sale prices were applied. Very easy to buy anything from here, even if it's not stocked here. They carry almost everything you need in terms of household items and clothing. The Chapel Hills store is no frills; it's certainly not the best Macy's I've been to, but it's clean and organized, and we're lucky to have one in Colorado Springs! If I had to choose a favorite department store in the Springs, I'd have to say this one is IT. read more

Disappointed in the men's fragrance dept. Quarterly new fragrances come out and USUALLY you are able to obtain those vial sample of cologne, vendors give them to Macy's. Monday at 11am, not a soul around, I had to go looking for a sales associate, she phoned some manager to ask about samples, she was freaking rude, just saying we don't do that anymore. I worked for Macy's Metro Center, Washington DC and Macy's DOES do that, provide samples to customers from vendors. The manager didn't give me the time of day to even come to the men's fragrance dept and look in the drawers where the vials are kept. Bad manager and Macy's New York will hear about it. read more

This store, drives me insane. I keep going but I don't know why. Last time I just put all my clothes back and left. Seriously. I just don't get the customer service here. I have worked retail, Its not that hard. But the checkout process is always so lengthy. I stood in line for 10 minutes and was told to go to another cashier because the ladys computer system from early 2000 crashed. I was shopping for a couple of dress shirts and was in the store for 45 mins without a single employee ask if I needed help. I did however have an employee watch me from a counter as if I was going to steal something. I proceeded to grab shirts and try them on in the fitting room without anyone asking if they fit or if I needed another size. I will not be shopping at Macy's ever again and I hope the Brand makes customer service their top priority instead of credit cards. It really is a shame. read more

I dialed in to another department, was on 'transfer' with the phone ringing for 5 minutes. The shoe department then said: Who IS this when I asked if they could check a shoe's availability. I replied: A Customer! I've also stepped into the store at 10:02 (it opens at 10:00 A.M.) to find NO one at the registers; only stockers on the floor. I have shopped at Macy's for decades. I have a Macy's card that was upgraded to American Express with Plenti Points. When trying to pay my balance by phone for days to weeks, every time they said they were closed at all hours of the day. Finally, I chose to push the button for a lost/stolen card and a person took the call. I paid the bill but since it took two weeks, I was charged $50 extra because it was now late. This is not how you treat your customers. I will not ever use their credit cards nor shop there again. read more

Picked up some great bargains during the xmas sales and all the staff were more than helpful

I don't normally shop at Macy's but CS doesn't have too many options shopping-wise so I tried giving them a chance. I haven't had a good experience there yet however. The in-store staff is really nice but overall Macy's computer system has some serious issues. I tried purchasing a Christmas gift using a friends & family discount code and it wouldn't work online even though the brand wasn't excluded from the fine print. So I went up to the store and they told me they didn't carry these knives in store (it didn't say that online anywhere). So they called other stores for me and found one store who said they had them. I placed my order over the phone and was told I would receive it before Dec 16th. On Dec 14th I called Macy's to check on my order since I never received a confirmation email and I was told it would ship on Dec 10th. I told the lady that the 10th had already passed and she convinced me it would be there by the 16th somehow still. The next morning I got an email saying it wouldn't ship until Dec 31st. I just wish the guy over the phone would've been honest with me and not claimed they had some in store. It was a waste of my time. I ended up just going to Williams & Sonoma where they actually had the knife in stock and the employees were super helpful. read more

Rebecca was incredibly rude to the nice Asian lady working in the shoe dept with her today. I bought a pair of shoes and was originally greeted by the Asian woman. I only remembered her name because of wanting to make it known that she is incredibly disrespectful and rude. At checkout the Asian lady began ringing me up and asked Rebecca to help another customer and she replied "how about I ring these customers up since I was helping them before you! Plus idk how to do whatever it is that customer needs" so basically I gathered that Rebecca was training but was blood thirsty for the commission on my shoes. The Asian lady handled it very well and shrugged it off and went To help the other customer. Rebecca was NOT genuine or friendly what so ever. The only help she assisted me with was keeping my shoes behind the counter while I ran downstairs to get my husband who had the money. I spend alot of money at Macy's but after today's visit I will Not be back. The awkwardness of the checkout was so uncomfortable and unprofessional watching Rebecca literally rip the shoes out of the woman who was in the middle of ringing us up.so awkward!
