Overall, this Macy's falls into the so-so category for me. Anytime I go it just seems like the clothing is okay, but nothing really wows me enough to want to try things on. I pass through usually around the holidays, but a lot of stuff seems fairly expensive even after the discounts are applied. It's a decent store, but I've seen better locations with more interesting clothing options. I'll probably try them again this winter around the holidays and see if anything changes. read more

Ugh no. Unfortunately this is located at one of the most stressful, busy, loud, and dirty malls around. And the selection at this particular Macy's is limited. It's super hot inside the store and needs to be renovated. I will say the benefit to this mall is that you can find good deals here at places like the Nordstrom Rack, Express, and Old Navy, but at this Macy's there just isn't a lot that I'd want to buy, even for cheap. read more

I always grumble about the long lines at Macy's, but I always manage to find whatever I need at the store. I walked in yesterday with my niece looking for a cold weather jacket, and in about 10 minutes we were walking out of the store with a beautiful jacket in hand. At this Macy's it's easy to find whatever you need, they're only three floors. Even if you didn't bring a coupon with you the staff is so nice and will do that for you. This Macy's is located in the Westfield Mall, which used to be called the Foxx Hills Mall. The store encompasses 3 floors, but there's an escalator that can take you from floor to floor. I love browsing for clothing items, and have gotten some really good deals. It's a good store to shop for clothing, but not shoes, or jewelry, which is way too expensive for my taste. read more

I am updating my review of Macy's due to the fact that I caught some great deals over the past month or so and have been in the store countless times picking up items I ordered. I've had some overall good experiences at the online order pickup. The people at Finish Line are always pleasant and very helpful. They have a pretty good selection of shoes, considering their department isn't large. The perfume department lacks the most of all of the departments I've patronized. Their employees are overwhelmingly rude and overlook customers. When people pass through your department, acknowledge them. I love fragrance, but their fragrance department doesn't carry anything so special or exclusive. They carry nice gift sets for the holidays, so if you see something you like at the right price, order/buy it immediately because the prices will go up sooner than not. I realized most recently that the managers of this location need to be terminated. They're busy holding personal conversations and taking breaks rather than working. They're not stocking their departments with enough items like shopping bags, garment bags, gift boxes and tissue paper. I saw someone dispensing gift boxes yesterday sans tissue paper. Since when was that acceptable? Macy's has a lot of traffic and they generate a lot of business based on their online sales. They need to tighten this store up. read more

You come to Macy's because it's on the classier end of the spectrum of the home goods and clothing stores, right? Well apparently you come here for the disorganized mess and screaming children. I needed a nice pair of black boots with a minimal heel for a last minute interview the following day. Normally I'd use amazon or somewhere cheaper but this is the closest place to home. One the bright side, I found exactly what I needed. They were $45 and look nice, fit comfortably. But here's where Macy's fails. The women's shoe section looks like the Caribbean after hurricane Maria hit. It's like a lottery, but not in a fun way. Does this have a tag? Does it actually belong in the clearance section? I Love this shoe but is it in my size or just sitting on the wrong rack? Then don't even get me started on the employees here. They have two imbecile teenage boys "working" the section. Who would much rather talk than help bring any inventory from the back to help customers. No, I went into the back on my own and found an employee who's only job is to restock shelves. She was nice enough to help me find the shoe but then got dragged into helping others because those boys were too busy talking about fortnight. Finally, I'm ready to checkout but did you know you can't check out at any other department? The line at women's shoes was going so so slow so I went to check out at perfume. But they wouldn't let me. Said I had to go back and wait. Why? There's a tag. Scan it and take my card. It's not like they were selling anything. SO now I have to go back and wait in that line. With the ignorant customers who left a stroller with screaming children in the aisle while they shop the racks. Oh and the cashier didn't take my coupon. For starters, this review is long overdue. Very long overdue. I got married in September 2018, and I needed to assemble the accessories for my suit. Carl, an employee I found in the men's shoe section, was my champion through this whole process. He was checking on shoes, looking for the nearest stores to have certain styles or sizes, searching the back for belts in my size (I am a very smol human) and the color I sought (a most particular brown), helping me find ties for my groomsmen, putting things on hold for me while I ran around Culver City. Carl was, in two words, THE MAN. Sorry it took so long to leave this review! I've been thinking about Carl ever since (and I know that's weird, but I am the weird), but was swamped with post-wedding stuff. Best customer service I found in my whole wedding search. So I came to this Macy's to return/exchange some online orders. The first time I stood in line customer service line, the customer service rep was cool, helped me return my first item with no problem and even directed me of where to go to find the item I was looking for to exchange. I go look in the Guess section that is not even a section but just a rack that has Guess at the top of it. I rummage through the jackets that are there and did not find what I was looking for. I go back to the customer service returns line, return the jacket that I no longer wanted and was told that they have 2 of the jacket that I want left, I just have to go back up to the second floor and ask for someone on the floor to help me find it. Okay fine! I go back up to the floor where the Guess jackets are, stand in line and ask the lady at the register to help me. This is where I had the problem. She didn't want to do her job. She looked the jacket up on the computer, saw that they had 2 left and told me that I had to go look for it. I told her I had already looked in the Guess section and that it wasn't there. She preceded to tell me again that I had to go look for it and that it may not be in the Guess section but in another part of the store. Long story short, after being told I had to go on a wild goose chase because she didn't want to do her job, while in the store I ordered the jacket I wanted for pick up. I was alerted that my order was ready 30 minutes later when I got home, smh... Why didn't anyone want to do their job while I was there?! This Macy's is in what used to be the Foxhill Mall, now, the Westfield Shopping Center. I go to Macy's a lot purely because I regularly receive discount coupons in the mail and I've found lots of great bargains in designer wear pretty often. I've shopped at Macy's all around Orange County and in LA and this has got to be the absolute worst Macy's I've ever shopped at. First of all, the brands are limited to things which aren't regularly seen at other Macy's. Baby Phat, Sean Jean, Rocawear and on top of that, they tend to carry larger sizes and by larger I mean XXXL stuff! I saw some jeans in the men's department sized 46/30 -- that's what I mean by larger sizes. I overheard a sales associate tell someone looking for some specific brand which I know they carry at other Macy's but the customer was told that it wasn't a brand they carried and that they could have that item shipped over but they would have to pay the shipping charge. I mean SERIOUSLY?? If you're an in-between size -- somewhere between a small and an XXXL then stay away from this Macy's and the one at Beverly Center because it seems like that there aren't a lot of in between sizes here or at BC. I have no idea why I keep coming back here but I guess when in the area, we always gravitate back here even though every single time we remind ourselves NOT to come back the next time we're in the neighborhood. read more

It seems like every time i go to this store there is almost always someone following or looking at me which makes me uncomfortable. Dear Macy's Management Team, 5 stars goes to that one employee. I came in searching for copper jewelry that would go with my evening dress for a wedding and made several purchases at Macy's. This is unexpected because I usually don't shop here but thanks to your stellar staff's customer service I left with products in hand. I am writing this in hopes to reach a manager at this location or higher. When there is exceptional customer service it should be recognized. A young lady named Giselle (I think that's her name and she works at the jewelry counter) had great customer service and good attention to detail while assisting me and other customers. She was the only one working the area and was attentive to all customers. While helping me I never felt rushed and when she went to help other customers nobody felt neglected and she did her best to help everyone at the same time. I am one to recognize excellent work and her services was at that professional level. She even helped me pick out the specific jewelry I needed after giving her an idea of what I was try to transcribe in my mind. I completely agree with Elise M. and I never even worked there! I visited this Macy's (because it's the closest to my home) and what a total disappointment. I specifically came for Prescriptives Cosmetics. The sales associate was friendly and greeted me but did nothing else. I told her what I was looking for and just pointed to different items. When I asked where I should discard my used tissues and applicators, she pointed to the garbage can behind the counter (near the registers where only associates should be). Needless to say, I felt a bit strange. Finally, after no assistance at all, I found a few items and colors I wanted to purchase. She looked for a few minutes in vain and told me that the weren't available. What a total waste of time! Yes, poorly stocked and token associates (what in the world are they paid for)? Went to this store yesterday and only 2 cashiers were open on the 2nd floor Women's clothing . The lines were long and only 2 people working. One of the cashiers the was in the lingerie Dept was rude and just taking her time when she knew she had a long line. She made a statement talking to the customer she was helping that people have to be patient. She could have turned to her line and said thank you for being patient but she didn't. "limited" staff on the floor both to assist and check out...escalator is " still" broken with no sign, apology or directions to the nearest elevator, staff has no clue about their products (estee lauder), ladies room around noon was completely out of paper and seat cover products (Jrs)...seriously folks????... this is an incompetent GM/ STORE MGR. problem...who should be written up or terminated! There are so many employees in this store. But they're all doing inventories or wiping things down. Honestly. They can't stop for few minutes to help the customers on the line? We specifically came here to buy Henckels kitchen knives. The houseware department only had the Martha Stewart brand. There was even a huge floor to ceiling poster on buying cutlery here at Macys! I finally tracked down a salesclerk who said they don't have any cutlery here except what you see on the floor. The escalator was not working and the width of these escalators are for one person, so there was a long wait to use the only one! The one was for going up and down. The other escalator was partitioned off with portable gates and yellow tape. We waited and waited while people were climbing up the escalator stairs, and the only option for going down was to find the elevators or go outside Macys into the mall. We chose to leave Macys. I am very disappointed. Sorry Macys. I loved your store before... but won't be returning to this particular location. read more

Macy's these days is kind of hit-or-miss. When there are truly good sales going on you can definitely get some excellent prices but the regular prices on most things are as high as could possibly be. Many of the clothing items you can find at Macy's can often be found at TJ Maxx or Marshall's for a fraction of the cost. Case in point: Ralph Lauren Polo Shirts for Men that retail for $85.00 at Macy's can be found easily at TJ Maxx or Marshall's for $35.00 or less. On the other hand, this Macy's store is definitely well-organized and the few employees I've dealt with have been very professional and very nice. To get really good bargains at Macy's you really need to know what you're looking for and it does need to be on sale. read more
