Just to clarify, this review is for this particular Macy's store, not Macy's as a whole- which will always be near and dear to me :). I frequent this Macy's because it is the only one around, but if I had any other choice, I would not go here. That being said, I am in here probably twice a week for something, because Macy's is still Macy's: stylish, sleek, yet affordable and not cheap looking! Either way, every time I walk in here, I brace myself for the anxiety filled crowds, the strong possibility that I will get run over by an angry pack of teenagers and their mothers, and also, that I will buy some ridiculously over-priced pair of sunglasses that I don't need. Let's get specific and talk shoes for a second, since that and Juniors is where I shop most in the department store.ALWAYS A FREAKIN MESS. I don't which way is up. The customer service is really going downhill in this store. I went to the third floor to purchase open stock dinner plates. As I walked to the cash register carry six heavy plates the sales associate walked away, completely ignoring me and disappeared. I waited a few minutes at the register, thinking she would return but she never did. I then walked around carrying the heavy plates looking for a register where I could pay. None of the registers had any sales associates and I couldn't find any associates on the floor. I gave up and left. read more

DO NOT GET A MACY'S AMEX CREDIT CARD...THEY ARE HORRIBLE...THE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS AWFUL. I'm trying to activate my card as My old one expires on 9/1 which is tomorrow! they send it to me the day before it expires. So I quickly try to activate it as I have merchants who i pay using this card. WELL...they're CLOSED ! A Monday at 12:30 in the afternoon they are CLOSED. My card will not activate and NOW IT's locked!! So I finally was able to talk to somebody in Bangladesh who cannot help me because they're CLOSED! She said they are "updating" and they don't know when they'll be done. Are they kidding??? She couldn't even unlock my card!! This isn't the first time I've had problems with Macy's. R.H Macy and company need to take a look at this place. It's cramped, disorganized, and not so user friendly. If it weren't for the fact that only they were the only retailer with what I needed for a particular Xmas gift I would have left. Even the staff at the fragrance counter seems to annoyed to render prompt service. When I asked about my gift with purchase there was a reaction of stunned silence before the clerk scrambled to find where the items were. Two of the other clerks were amazed to find out that this promotion was going on. One even asked me where I saw the sign. Truly this team is not so customer focused. read more

I like this Macy's. Today I went to buy shoes for an upcoming wedding and I was in and out with the perfect shoes in less than 15 minutes. Sometimes the shoe department can get pretty crazy. Had a great experience in here recently. Went in and picked up a handbag. Everyone was super helpful and friendly at multiple stations. Continued my way and experienced friendly service near the makeup area too. It was Black Friday weekend too and no one seemed flustered or overwhelmed. Very pleasant shopping experience! read more

I visited Macy's on Christmas Eve to finish up my 2016 holiday shopping. I was looking for a gift for my girlfriend's father, and had my eye on a pair of Armani Express sunglasses. I'd done my research, and learned that the Sunglass Hut inside of Macy's was helping consumers save significantly more than the standalone stores. When I arrived, the staff was very friendly, and helped me find the ideal pair. Moreover, they explained how the glasses could be fitted, and even cleaned the pair to ensure their quality. Overall, I had a very positive experience, and recommend that visitors explore Macy's for branded products prior to exploring the mall's standalone alternatives. read more

Polo jacket , great stuff . I feel like a dam woman when I go there , all I do is spend spend spend . Love the men's department, have things I didn't even get to yet . This review is specifically for the bridal salon upstairs-- I believe it was called Demetrios bride. My friends and I did not have an appointment and actually came from David's bridal across the street. We found a ton of great options and had awesome customer service inside and outside the fitting rooms. Once we decided on a dress the sweetest woman took our measurements and helped us pay and the whole process was very smooth. I know my friend, the bride was super happy with how everything went! The bridesmaid dress we decided on was a tad expensive but they did give us the option to pay half now and pay the rest in a few months. I would definitely check it out, but make an appointment because I think my friends and I got lucky! read more

On September 29, 2018 I ordered online a Michael Kor's bag. I received an email stating that it was in transit. I called Macy's on Oct 4th searching for my order. The person I spoke to told me the bag was no longer available. I asked to speak to manager. I was told the manager was to busy to get on the phone. They then told me I could pick it up at the Macys in Green Acres the following day. So on Oct 5th I picked up the Michael Kor's bag. I was assured that my account was going to be credited for $130.35. Well today is 11/3/18 I received my bill and still didn't receive the credit. I called Macy's and they first told me the bag was in transit. Finally the lady said she would credit me and I would receive an email in 15 minutes. 45 Minutes no email. Still waiting for the credit. read more

Every time I go to Macy's I swear I'll never shop there again. My husband and I went in on Black Friday to get some new pillows. We went upstairs found the pillows we wanted and asked someone for help to get them down off a top shelf. That person said he would be right with us and never came back. We ended up finding a pole and knocking the pillows off the shelf ourselves. We now bring the pillows to the cashier who is helping another customer. The cashier seems to have her hands full with them as they question every item being rung up and then wish to use an expired coupon. There were two associates standing towards the side of the register talking neither of them stepped in to ring us up, they continued there conversation and one walked away and the other clocked out and left. We ended up in luggage where the gentleman rang us up but had no bags to put our items in. The store is a mess and there employees suck. I refuse to give them my money anymore. If you can avoid Macy's I highly suggest shopping elsewhere! If I could have given zero stars I would have. read more

I will never shoe shop at Macy's again. I walk into a gigantic mess. Shoes all over the floor in piles. Boxes and a mess everywhere. It takes ten minutes to flag down an employee. Then I asked for about 15 different pairs of shoes. They only had two of my size in stock. Now each boot they did have took another ten minutes to come out. Plus when I found another pair I liked it took ten more minutes to find an employee. When an employee was found they refused to help me because they work with commission and I have to go to the first person who helped me, which was no where to be found. Over an hour later, I tried on two pairs of boots and left with NOTHING. read more

I will never shop at Macy's again. I purchased online a Charter Club Member Elite Down Comforter that comes with a 10 year warranty. At year 6 the threading started to get bare and feathers were coming out from all over the place. Macy's will not honor this warranty. They surely will got money from Charter Club when purchased and knew their warranty was clearly on the label. I have been dealing with Macy's customer service for 9 months asking for receipts, purchase dates, order number, pick out a comparable comforter for exchange which I have and provided. They "will get back to me". I always had to re-contact them and a new customer service rep would ask me for something different or tell be to go into the store which i can not do this is why I purchased this on line to begin. It is AWFUL that Macy's will not fix this problem!! It is a $150 dollar item. There is a warranty and Macy's needs to honor one of their top vendors policy. read more

I try to keep a zero balance on my card because Macys website is so frustrating to deal with and getting to speak with a human being by phone is almost impossible. I have a more positive experience in the store but their website and phone tree can be a headache! I don't think they know how frustrating they are! read more

Very disappointed in Macy's Furniture Gallery. Our experience was awful. We purchased furniture and received all the pieces damaged ( the delivery people were coloring over the scrapes with a marker). So we called our salesperson, Brian, to find out the procedure to take care it. He told us to keep the furniture and let them exchange just the damaged pieces but did ask if there was another problem could we get our money back. Our salesperson said absolutely no problem. We then had contacted the 1-800 customer service as per the delivery people only to find out if we were unsatisfied the second time we would have to pay a 15% restocking fee for the undamaged pieces and the delivery was non refundable (our salesperson was kind enough to leave that piece of information out). So we sent it back. We made arrangements for a second delivery and again scrapes and cuts all over the leather, right out of the package. We called back customer service, very upset and were willing to make an additional delivery but asked if we could be compensated for our time and inconvenience and were offered a whooping $45 gift card for almost a $6000 purchase. Now that was insulting. They really could have cared less. read more
