Worst experience purchasing a bedroom set. Walked into the home store in October 2020 and purchased over $2500 in bedroom furniture and was told that it would arrive on December 22, 2020. I paid for the 'white glove' delivery.... It's January 2021 and still no furniture. I called and asked about my order and the furniture guy there was short: "I dont know if you've noticed but the world is shut down and your order isn't the only one backed up!" Wow. Never again. This review is for the toy department. Firstly: They did have a decent selection of toys, but most of them were completely without price tags..? They do have a "price scanner" but why not just put prices on stuff?? Secondly: My biggest complaint is not the missing prices but rather the rude cashier lady (late 20s early 30s maybe? Long straight brown hair)... She was completely snarky and tried to passively belittle us, as we were trying to simply pay for our items.. she had a condescending/snarky tone, and in our short encounter with her she was able to get a few back-handed remarks in. I don't think they'll get my business back. All of the associates were wonderful. But I had an issue that required a manager, and they were useless. I was literally trying to retroactively upsale myself, and give them more money and they were basically like "sorry" "tough S" how's that for holiday spirit? Management has the ability to make decisions, exceptions, and override things. It wasn't a big ask, I'm 100% certain it could have been done, in my case they just chose not to. I wanted to exchange a product for a more expensive one, and pay the difference. Because the original purchase was part of a promotion I wouldn't be entitled to a refund for the full price (obviously) but I wasn't asking for a refund. I was asking to exchange it for a product that would have been eligible for the same promotion had I bought it originally. I understand they're policy and why it exists, but their manager appearantly doesn't. What it comes down to is.. I can't be scamming you if I'm trying to give you more money! Online order review only... Piss poor experience. YOu have go to be kidding me Macy's online! Ordered a birthday gift for my mom who lives in CA, I live in Or, a no sales tax state. I've ordered plenty of things for her online and not once paid sales tax. This order has been a nightmare. My fault for putting my zip code on the order, however her address was correct. It was eventually delivered to her city (even though I input wrong zip) only to be returned to Macy's as undeliverable. I followed the tracking/shipping of this order and contacted Macy's as soon as I noticed the issue. They were unable to have the item held in my moms city or have the zip code corrected. I spent damn near an hour w the customer service rep only to have to reorder the item, pay sales tax and lose the promotion that I had initially. They gave me expedited shipping for free which I appreciate, but still won't be to my mom for another week. I went into Macy's Clinique counter a couple months ago have a lot of problems with my skin, That's when I met Joanna. This a reflection on the management staff the sales associates in certain areas were good however one manager was so rude to customers she didn't say hello to them and when I walked around the department I saw her grab another sales associate by the arm and proceeded to scream at her for not making her sales quota for that hour even though I had noticed the sales associate make connections with customers and get sales. I'm not a regular Macy's customer, and I'm new to this area. Usually I'd rather spend less somewhere else. I was in need of quality clothes for a job interview, and I found exactly what I needed here. Men's clothing section was in impeccable order. Quality of product is superior to those discount department stores. My only compliant, which may be less a Macy's problem and more a mall issue, was how the store is divided across the mall. You must cross the mall in search of the home section for example. Ample parking though! Overall I had a pleasant expierence. If I get the job (knock on wood) I'll be shopping here more. If I could give zero stars for women's shoes department, I would. I had three shoes in my hand, waiting at the counter for someone to ask me for my sizes. Chrissy, a horrible sales woman, walked by me two times. Finally after 10 minutes of waiting while there were three employees on the floor, I got my shoes, but I needed another size. I went back up for a different size and again, to no surprise, Chrissy walked past me. If you don't know how to acknowledge a customer's presence, then don't work in retail. I'm basing my review on the last time I was there. The sales ladies in the women's/bra department were amazing! They went over and beyond for my friend who is blind and myself. They made what Can usually be a somewhat stressful shopping trip super fun and easier! We got super deals on sale items plus using my 25% off coupon from being a Macy's card holder on top of that! It saved us both quite a bit in our purchases. I do have to say the older women in the bedding department gets 1 star. Dismissive and no customer service. Her counterpart saved the day. read more

This store is very clean and organized. The displays are awesome. It looks like someone actually put effort into their job unlike a lot of Macy's these days. The sale racks are organized by size which is completely awesome. It makes it easy to find things and doesn't create quite a mess. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Macy's cares about nothing but their bottom line. They do not value their loyal customers. Most retailers will bend over backwards to ensure loyal customers are satisfied. Not Macy's. Maybe back in the day when their competition was Gimble's, but not anymore. After a billing snafu that resulted in being charged more than triple the price for a blanket, instead of working with me, a loyal customer who paid his bill on time for over 15 years, they took the hard line stance and refused to give me the benefit of the doubt. I had to ask for a supervisor and even then had to pay double. I closed my account after ensuring the payment went through. They didn't even try to save my business. Yesterday I received a bill indicating I had a past due amount. $2.00 in interest from the previous billing cycle! And I had to get a supervisor to write that off. read more

MAC @ MACY'S----- Oh my google I love this store, the employees know use and love their product :) Everytime I've gone I'm meet with a smile and a friendly attitude . I haven't meet an employee there who wasn't absolutely fantastic & could answer my questions! They sure do pack their undersized space with the products they sell. I'm a makeup artist and mostly work for performers who truly test the limits of makeup and no make up stands up as well as Mac products this I promise. There's plenty of color to choose from everything to nudes to bright & wild , great brushes,the best fake eyelashes anywhere , & an amazing collection of lip sticks! I love love love this Mac store and will always return even tho the macys size and quality extremely lacks in comparison to other Macy's. The Mac store truly deserves more space but they do their job swimmingly with what they have :) MACY's lol it's a far cry from their flagship store in Manhattan ! This store is absolutely pathetic their quality of products are by far thee worst of any Macy's I been to! I've seen many Macy's store all over the nation considering I was a model for them as a youth and always complete fashion junkie , but sadly this one is not. They do not carry any really good designers just basic and cheap, they had a very very small Chanel collection that now is gone. Have spent three frickin hours today just trying to place one order. They have charged my credit card five times and still not completed the order. HAve been fighting with them and Chase all day. They have tied up $4000 of my available credit in pending charges they have no access to--they don't see anything on their end.
