I came to Macy and was able to get some great pants on sale and the belts here are the best price. There was a special sale on the whole store. Amazing there were a lot of people shopping and the store was busy. You had to wait at the counters. Men shirts were on sale for 17 dollars and excellent leather shoes on sale for $40. The selection is amazing here one can get any style and any color. The best part is Macy coupons you end up paying much less. The employees are all friendly. The parking is enormous. read more

i have a MACYs credit card SOLELY for the purpose of buying make up. that is all i use it on :) for the most part... I usually go to the benefit counter and get help by Leslie, who shows me patience and helpfulness. I also love the skin care by the origins counter. The other day Monica gave me a facial, and recommended products that are good for my skin, and dang i left that place glowing. The nice thing is that she did not pressure me into buying stuff even after helping me so much. But of course, I bought a load of stuffs.. The Dior counter is alright. i LOVE their make up.. This is the worst Macys in the world. I wish they would Close it. I am a Freaking card holder for 10 years and the customer service is fucking terrible. So I have to stand in line for 15 min to get a shoes size. They don't have it. I gotta find a another shoe and stand for another 22 min. For being Macy's that's awful! We had to purchase the delivery! Which was 200.00 on top of the total price! I wish I could give this location 0 stars! I was at this store asking for a shirt on a mannequin and a girl named Toni had the worst attitude ever when I asked her very politely for it. She was so bothered with my request and extremely unprofessional. This lady is a representation of what kind of employees work there and I do not recommend this location to anyone. I had to get the Christmas sweater off the mannequin myself because she didn't want to take the 3 seconds to do it for a customer. She said her manager said she couldn't take it down. This Macy's is a train wreck of epic proportion! Clothes are always strew about and racks are cluttered. The only plus is that a lot of times the item is less than the price tag. The issue I had that made me give one star is the women's shoe department. I've been looking for shoes for a wedding and found some amazing Lucky Brand heels that would go perfect with my dress. They were also in the clearance section and the perfect size. It took them 10 minutes to look around the back to find the other half, yet they never found it. They took my name and number to call me if they found it. No other store had them so I am s.o.l. I am so bummed and really got my hopes up. That isn't fair to customers. If you don't have the pair, don't put them out on the floor!!!! Hopefully I'll find something at The Rack, Macy's sucks! read more

I don't shop at Macy's very often; I'm a Ross lover, but I had to stop there the other day with my mother as she was looking for a bracelet she saw on a tv ad. First of all, it took so long on a Saturday night to get someone to help us in the jewelry section. I think I walked around the department like 5 times. However, they gave my mom a decent price, or so I thought. It was a multicolor stud bracelet with semi precious stones for like 130. They said this was the best deal she can get but we found out later online that the price should have been better (106 actually). I think they would honor that price on the internet or their website, but it's a hassle to go back. The staff that finally showed up to help my mom was nice, but did give us the higher price. However, this may not have been her fault and be more attributed to their pricing system. They had some nice clothes and it did take all my willpower not to purchase this ruffled two tone dress. It was absolutely gorgeous and at least i know I can go back to Macys to find some nice pieces when I have more money. The store was clean (on a Saturday night mind you) and also had a lot of Coach things to buy, especially the shoes. Too bad the economy is slow and thus my banking account is not ready for Macys. I received a gift card for my birthday and went to go use it at the Estée Lauder counter and there was quite a few girls working a couple of them with customers but not all of them well none of them acknowledged me after standing there for awhile a simple "I'll be with you in a moment" would have been nice but not till I turned my back did someone ask if I needed help I turned back around and said no thank you and went to Nordstrom since this was not the first time that this had happened I wasn't surprised the only reason I went back there was because I had a gift card and I was on my lunch break thinking I could run in and out but that was a joke! I rarely shop at Macy's because I'm not happy with their selection or service. What follows is a narrative rant about my recent experience with the Children's department staff at this location: My daughter received an outfit for her birthday that was too big and by the time it fit her the season had changed and she was unable to wear it. I thought a return would be easy because I had a return label. I was wrong. I took the item to the counter explaining my situation. The sales woman scanned the label and told me that because the purchase was more than 180 days old she could not pull up the price from that day. She turned the monitor toward me and it showed the last selling price ($29.98). I told her that I was fine with receiving the last selling price and she said that she needed to call a manager. The manager said that unless I provided a gift receipt he didn't know how much to refund. He then admitted that the registers were not set up to provide gift receipts back when the gift was purchased so there was no way that I could have a gift receipt!! I told him that I would accept last selling price but he stated that it was against their policy to do returns after 180 days. I told him that their policy isn't stated on the return label and they didn't provide a gift receipt so I wasn't aware of the policy. I gave up. Really!?! You want to argue with me over $30. Don't you know that a happy customer will spend way more than $30 in their lifetime but an unhappy customer won't come back? Guess not. read more

This Macy's is so nostalgic for me... I've been going here since I was a kid. My parents did a lot of shopping here. If you know where to look, you can get some great deals! I like the Origins make up counter in there... You can get a free mini facial sometimes. Once I booked it for me and two of my girlfriends and we had such a good time relaxing and figuring out which products were best for our skin types. (The Origins lady was super sweet and helpful.) I kind of miss when this store was 3 levels (way back in the day) and it's a little weird that it is still empty where the old store used to be. Anyways, my family and I have never had bad customer service here and there's a good selection of items. read more

For some reason, my mom likes to shop at this Macy's even though there's another one closer in the same city where she lives. This one is closer to her work, but it was the weekend and we were shopping together. We went to the Clinique counter to purchase some face serum for her and she was told that they were giving a full size sample of eye cream with $50 purchase. She is all about the promotion items. Gee, I wonder who I got that trait from. The ladies at the Clinique counter were really nice. The woman who was helping my mom was out on her lunch break. Apparently, she had picked up the phone when my mother called that morning. She has some inside knowledge from a text she had received the day before about current promotions. She called to make sure that the promotion was still being honored and Sherry answered the phone letting her know that it was. I'm not a Clinique user ever since I had a bad reaction to one of their face creams, but my mom really likes their stuff now. Naturally, we walked around Macy's after my mom completed her purchase. It had been a while since I'd been in this Macy's or this mall even. There are a lot of things that have remained the same and a lot that has changed. But if you have a Macy's card, you can definitely stack your coupons and promotions. According to my mom, you can pay your Macy's charge card with your debit card as soon as you've purchased something, just to accumulate Plenti points. Who knew? Mom did. read more

Saw the sales ad and combined with using my credit card, I could save a few bucks on some items i needed. Although they don't give you back Kohl's cash, it seems like you have to watch out for coupons and use your credit card at all these department stores in order to not just avoid paying full price, but to avoid getting overcharged! Horrible customer service! They would not give me a proper refund even though I had a receipt and everything. I wasted a lot of time and energy. The workers are nice but you can't accuse the customer of already refunding the item and begrudgingly short change the refund. The receipt clearly showed my card number and date of purchase. There's a girl in the MAC section who came up to my mom and asked her if she needed any help because she was just looking at the MAC makeup. My mom walked past her and, didn't notice the worker was there. The MAC worker came up to me as I walked behind my mom and, asked me if I know her ( my mom) I told her yes I did. She then had the nerve to ask me why is my mom so rude! Well, I told her my mom is legally blind and, just because she looks young. My mom is legally blind and she shouldn't take everything personal. It was crowded that day and, maybe my mom couldn't hear her, the nerve of that MAC worker. Macy's should get together with the make up people and teach them some courses in customer service. First and definitely the last time I will ever step into this location. Irma Macias the manager in the Home Goods department should be demoted from her position. The terrible attitude and horrible customer service really made me question the morals of Macy's, if they can hire and maintain a manager like Irma I question every choice they have ever made. Irma did ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to accommodate a customer. She clearly missed her customer service training because she showed none. I cannot stress how terrible of an employee she is. I went to the clinique station to switch out my lotion for a toner that was for oily skin since I got the combination toner last time I came, I brought my almost empty bottle of toner to show the lady at the counter which one wasn't working for me and the lotion made me UNUSUALLY oily and made me break out more, I was trying to explain it to the lady but she proceeded to assist me with a shitty attitude. She immediately told me I couldn't return that one, but the lotion I was able to since I barely used it. I'm playing it cool, she proceeded to tell me there wasn't anything for oily skin although I was looking right at it, I pointed it out to her and told her that is the one I came to get in exchange for the lotion that didn't work for me. She goes to the computer and proceeds with her shitty attitude. I thank her and kept my cool, but what the fuck this lady needs to leave the shitty attitude at home if she's going to be working customer service. His courtesy made our browsing far more enjoyable. He found us the shoes we asked for and directed us to price scanner to make sure we were getting the best deal.
