Phenomenal wings, the x-Hot is the perfect combination of heat and flavor. The wings were cooked perfectly steaming hot when they came to our table.

    Receipt of order

It's my first time here and I ordered a garden salad with croutons and cheese, a #2 chicken deluxe no combo, and a side of Mac and cheese. I got all the way home just to realize that I did not receive my chicken sandwich, nor did I receive croutons on my salad or salad dressing for the salad. This being my first time at this establishment and it was not a good first impression. I am really disappointed in the lack of accuracy that was placed on my simple order. After a long work day, I just wanted to get home and enjoy a good meal. Now I'm being inconvenienced by having to go all the way back just for the employees to fix my order. I did try to call them regarding my order but the number is just a disconnected number. I don't think I'll be returning to this place for quite sometime, if at all. UPDATE: Once I went back to talk to them regarding their mistake, they were upset that I didn't check my bag before I left. Im currently pregnant, due in a few weeks, just worked a long shift and was not thinking the employees were not going to do the job that pays them. Apparently this mishap is completely my fault. I will not be returning to this overpriced establishment and intend to let everyone know about my experience. Definitely would not recommend!

This place pleasantly surprised me. On a whim I decided to get take out and I wanted a chicken sandwich. I ended up ordering a chicken sandwich, wings and jalapeño poppers. The food was all really good! I'm surprised because I read a lot of bad reviews. I definitely didn't have enough Mayo on my sandwich, but I just put more delicious Hellman's from the fridge on there and it was good to go. The chicken was juicy/cooked perfectly. So were the wings. Everything seemed freshly made. I'll definitely order again one day!

I ordered food from uber eats and it took over an hour and a half to receive. It wasn't the carriers fault though, because they told me they were yelled at for asking for the order and yelled at again that my order wasn't ready, even though it was. My food came cold and soggy. The onion rings I got were practically inedible. However the mad bowl was actually good, i got it with the honey garlic sauce and the boneless wings were fine. Overall, terrible experience and will not be ordering here again.

It was my first time visiting Wisconsin and this was the first restaurant I ate at here. It wasn't bad, I ordered the #3 Grilled Chicken Sandwich. I would've added a little more sauce on the order but other than that it was great! I could really tell the chicken was fresh.

To hot all the important things: the service was perfectly fine, the restaurant was quite dirty and there is only about 9 seats in the whole restaurant. The food is nothing special and honestly overpriced for what it is. I ordered boneless wings and waffle fries, which were overly fried and crispy. Sauces were good but this was not worth $17. Plus no free cups for water. Will not be returning and I recommend you spend your time, tastebuds, and money elsewhere.

    Chicken nuggets and fries

I have had good luck with the food when I eat at the restaurant. I typically get the spicy garlic Parmesan nuggets and waffle fries. My only real gripe is that they have these really really cheap utensils in packets. They are so cheap that they never work stabbing a nugget. Really. So I have gotten in the habit of bringing my own fork. It sounds crazy but it makes a huge difference. I like the food however really think they need some decent utensils!

Hours of operation. 11am-2:30am all days except for Friday and Saturday when they're open until 3am.

Delicious. Large serving size. Good price. The only reason for not giving 5 stars is that it took just over 15 min for food and the drink options seemed limited. (Roughly 8 options). The Mad sandwich was phenomenal and well worth the money. I had ordered a buffalo wrap as-well however I needed a to go box for that. Reheated the wrap was also amazing. The tenders have a great crispiness to them and the inclusion of slaw, sauce and pickles on the sandwich brought it all together. Great experience, small location with about 6 table spaces. Great food, I strongly recommend this over any other chicken restaurant.

We just wanted a drink and a quick bite to eat and being during a baseball game, lots of places in the area were busy. There was a good crowd there watching the game as well. It's an interesting setup, reminds me almost of a living room (with dining tables) and then the small bar area is to the side. To order food, you do it through two wall kiosks which I like because you can look at options and not feel rushed unless there's a line. Outside they have tables and a tv as well. I choose a veggie sandwich which had a good kick to it! The smaller size was good enough for me. It was a bit confusing how to get your food, from what we understood, you have to go through a door to get to the kitchen window (bathrooms are that way too) but no one calls your order number or anything. I'd suggest an improvement on that way you know your food is ready or maybe we missed something. Overall, I would return and would like to try other items on the menu!

They have their menu online, limited toppings, but we called ahead to place the order. He said it would be ready in 10 minutes. The pizza size isn't online but I measured and it's 14". First impression of the pizza when they handed it to me was that it needed more cheese. I still think that's true after baking it. I was tempted to add more of my own but wanted to eat it as it came. Tons of toppings though! The sausage was really good too. Never being there but knowing they have cannoli (no dessert case seen), I asked what flavors and got a strange look like there must be only one flavor lol. Okay, I'll take whatever that one is! The man went into the back to fill it for me and I will say it was delicious and was I guess just a plain cream with maybe some vanilla. They aren't open very late so get there early if you want dinner. Like before 5pm. Several others came in to get sandwiches while we were there and said they are great. The space is not very big, it's mostly counter and register but they do have a few tables if you want to sit. You can tell by who was working that they are a family run business and I'm happy to support them in the future! I will ask for extra cheese!

I've…read morebeen familiar with B&B since its earliest days (which roughly coincided with the earliest days of another great Milwaukee institution, Outpost Natural Foods -- where I was a member and volunteer). A good friend of mine cooked at B&B for a while. As young, recent college grads, my wife and I regularly ate there. Along with Oriental Drugs, the Blue River Cafe, The Outpost and Century Hall, B&B was a favorite, comforting go-to spot. Although I couldn't visit very often during my 25 years on the west coast, I was so very happy to know that it was still here, and as wonderful as ever, when I returned to Wisconsin in 2008. How funny to think that this tremendous haven for those wanting to include at least some vegetarian foods in their diet occupied the spot once known for Frenchy's restaurant (the place famous/infamous for its bear and lion steaks)! I'll need a new place to eat before going to the Oriental Theater. And I'll need a long time to process the sadness I feel. All the best to the owners and staff . . . and here's hoping that maybe B&B will live on in another location.

First time here…read more Food: We were excited to try some Somali/African cuisine. For beverages, we ordered the chai tea and the mango smoothie. I was expecting a plain chai tea, but what I received was actually a chai latte. What a wonderful surprise! It wasn't the type of chai latte I might expect from a local coffee shop, but it was better than many I've had. We started with a couple of veggie sambusas. They were excellent. Hot, crisp, and fresh, with a generous filling and served with a side of mint chutney. Together, they made a fantastic flavor combination. We also ordered hummus and pita bread. Both were fresh, tasty, and well presented. The final part of our meal was the Goat Platter. It arrived hot and fresh, with generous portions. The goat meat was delicious and tender. The serving was large enough that I took half home, and it will make great leftovers. Service: The gentleman at the counter was friendly and efficient. He was very attentive, bringing each item to our table. He seemed genuinely proud of the food, its presentation, and our reaction to it. There was also a woman in the back, whom I believe was doing most of the cooking, and I had a chance to thank her as well. Atmosphere: The restaurant is small and unassuming. It was clean and well lit, thanks to the large front windows. It appears that most of their business is takeout, but there are several tables available for dining in. We were the only people eating there during our visit, so it was very quiet. Overall: We were super impressed with this little spot serving excellent Somali/African food. The quality of the food, the warm service, and the generous portions made for a wonderful first experience. We'll definitely be back.
