I'm no salad eater more of a "meatarian" but I got to say this place makes some great salads. This place was suggested many times but never tried it until now. I was impress, great food, fresh, clean ambient and left not feeling like a balloon but feeling a slightly healthier great job, keep it up. The salads are hit or miss. It really depends on how you like them. If you like lots of toppings and dressing then this is your place. Don't expect a light meal from the menu unless you build your own salad. The actual restaurant is very clean and modern but the food is what matters. My girlfriend and I were both just dissatisfied. There was way too much dressing and toppings compared to the amount of lettuce. If you do go here make sure you make your own salad and pick a dressing you know you will like and ask for a light amount. The prices weren't horrible since it does fill you up pretty well but I would only suggest getting the larger size since it's only $1 more. read more

I was so excited to try this place I couldn't wait till It opened. Disappointed to say the least. Very over priced. The avocado hummus was way over the top salty. I tried 6 dressings every single one was NASTY!! The greek dressing tasted like straight vinegar. Im sorry but dressing is the highlight of a good salad, and what kinda salad do u have with nasty dressing? A shitty one. They were out of forks !! How can u be out of forks at a salad restaurant? This place has definitely been hit by covid. Several menu items on the website are no longer available. They no longer offer any beef on the menu. They no longer take phone orders. I had the Poe which was supposed to have fruit. Instead it had fruit cocktail instead. Really. When I arrived, no one was in the restaurant, including staff. So disappointed. Very poor service. The cashier wanted us to hurry up and pick an item off the menu when we weren't ready. She gave attitude the whole time when we had just gotten there. When she made my order with cheese I asked her to remove it because I can't eat dairy because of a deadly stomach disease. When i asked her this she rolled her eyes and threw the bowl down and started over. When I finally got my salad the chicken was burnt and the mixed greens didn't taste fresh. I also didn't get the amount of dressing I wanted because the employee was too lazy to grab another bottle of it. Won't be coming back. read more

1 star for the custom salad concept + 1 star for the tea, which is always good I really want to like this place but I can't. My family as given it several tries. One time, my daughter encountered a clump of foul-tasting mud in her salad. We fished it out along with the surrounding lettuce. But several bites later she jumped out of her seat shrieking because there was a dragonfly wing at the bottom of her bowl. It was quite awhile before we could convince her to come back. Employees at this location don't seem well trained and few are personable. The steak ($2 add-on charge) is gross. It's always cold, flavorless, and consists of way too much hard gristly fat. Horrible experience overall. I walked into to this location at 8:17 pm (they close at 830). I asked for a bowl and was told that they were out of rice. I was shocked but that's life. I quickly grabbed my phone to call my wife to let her know. The employee then goes to the next family in line (group of 5) and proceeds to address the family in line and starts on a large order. I received the revised order and made eye contact with the employee to ensure they both saw that I was no longer on the phone and ready to proceed with my order. They ignored me and continue to service the family that was behind me. I I realized they simply did not care so o waited until they finished servicing the large family. I placed my order and they seem bothered by my presence. So I will not be returning as I refused to be treated that way. read more

Don't get me wrong, I love Mad Greens. The salads are fresh, and the Mad Spice is awesome. Unfortunately, this location just doesn't have a good atmosphere. The staff look sad, and can honestly be pretty rude. I'll just drive the extra few miles to go to the Round Rock location; this one isn't worth it. read more

The food is great, my favorite is the Don Quixote with shrimp. I get it as a salad, my husband gets it as a wrap. The flavors of shrimp, mango, and avocado are perfect together. We order online for curbside pickup and it's always ready when we get there. We order every few weeks, and with one exception, the order has been accurate. Really disappointed :( I usually don't give bad reviews but there was nothing really good about this place? The service was SO slow. I couldn't even pay for my meal for much too long. I just had to stand at the register and stare at the wall while the manager(?) told me it would be a long time after I ordered. I really was excited to come here! I've been trying to make time to stop in for weeks now! Sad to say I won't be back. The staff didn't seem to know what they were doing, food was bland, cost WAY too much and the quality did not make up for the cost. My sandwich was cold and soggy. Salad tasted like nothing. 3 stars as the salad is a good salad. The Cobb salad I got was $10.85 plus tax. I didn't want the avocado so asked without, but had to pay extra from croutons! Don't think I've ever been asked to pay extra for croutons. Salad need up costing nearly $13!! read more

Been here a half-dozen times now and think it's time to write a quick review. First time I walked in, long line, but got through it quickly. The staff was friendly, quick, and was good about confirming amounts and flavors. My only suggestion to management here is to ask customers if they're new and make a few suggestions. It was busy, so maybe they didn't just to keep the line moving. Anyway... Now I order online and the service has been consistently good. Fan favorites? The mighty Aphrodite is really good, as is the Don Quixote (The shrimp is good, but I prefer the taste of the chicken). I've only had the soup once. The Veggie Soup was surprisingly good (nothing was mushy/nothing undercooked, GREAT flavor). Random things to point out: they don't drown the salad (unless you ask), the $1 upgrade to "BIG" is a no-brainer, MAD spice is awesome, the $5 add-on for a 1/2 sandwich is NOT worth it, and expect long lines at the Lakeline location. Bottom Line: I'm actually excited about eating my veggies! read more

Good salads, friendly staff, and great juices. Madgreens has become my go to salad place mainly due to the staff being so friendly.

Too expensive for the idea. No mushrooms, no jalapeños, no banana peppers? How is that possible? And you only get to pick 4 veggies for no extra charge???? Been to Salata dozens of times and for the same money they will make it any way you want with as many veggies as you need for no extra charge. Won't be going back to Mad Greens!!! read more

I've never been as disappointed by a place that looked so promising. The staff was completely unorganized and looked like they had no idea what was going on and they certainly had no idea how to walk a first-time customer through their system. The 5-6 people behind the counter looked like the Keystone Kops with their uncertain back-and-forth. Then there was one harried person who was clearly the only decently trained employee, trying to manage questions from all of their co-workers and the customers... I felt bad for them. Then... the food. I had their pasta salad. Dry. Dry. Dry. Even with the extra dressing I went to get. It was 80% penne pasta and 20% kind of other stuff. Maybe it wouldn't be so bad if the pasta was cooked consistently (some over done, some not done at all, etc) or seasoned, but it was bland and way too pricey. I also had their tortilla soup which was also bland... but I think they're from Colorado or something, so I guess what they think tortilla soup should taste like would differ wildly. The main reason I went to this place was because their Yelp page said they had WiFi, and they didn't. So after dropping $25 on a beneath-sub-par-lunch for my husband and I, then I get the kick in the teeth about how I can't even work while trying to choke down the food I paid for. read more

Great salads but I placed an online order for pickup through their site, only to drive all the way back home and find out they included the wrong dressing (ranch instead of creamy ginger). They also included only one container of dressing when the salad obviously needed two. When I called to complain they offered a refund, but I felt like they should have offered more since I wasted 30 minutes of my day and still had no food for lunch. This was my fist time trying out Mad greens and I have to say I enjoyed it. I like how the menu is clear about what all is in your salad. There's nothing worse than thinking you're getting one thing and wham you're hit with something crazy. The place was VERY clean and the staff was friendly. The lady who made our salads was definitely new she kept having to retrace her steps. I enjoyed being able to watch them make my salad AND which is an added bonus they walk you through each step of the salad so if you don't like something there's ample time to 86 it. They even ask if you want to try the dressing BEFORE they put it on your salad AND as if that wasn't impressive enough they even ask if you want light, medium or heavy dressing!! Let me tell you I'm NO fan of super soggy salad so I often order dressing on the side but oh no not here.. here I can tell them light or medium and jackpot the perfect salad!! All and all I enjoyed myself here there prices weren't outrageous and they had a super solid drink selection which I can dig. read more

I am a first timer. I have passed by Mad Greens a couple of times and read an article in the Austin Food magazine on how good it was. I just ordered to go on my lunch break and it was ready before it was suppose to be which was great! I thought the Don Quixote salad and Green Tea were delicious. I will definitely get it again, however, I will get the larger salad portion size rather than a regular. I am a small person, but I apparently have a large appetite. This place is what everyone with a food allergy/intolerance has been waiting for. Their website lets you check off your allergies, intolerances and preferences and they'll tell you exactly what you can and can't eat. Perfect for items with hidden gluten or nightshades (which isn't quite as common of an allergy). You may say, it's just a salad. Well proteins are marinated and most salads have dressings. Plus, it's fresh and delicious. So thanks for making my life a little easier. read more

Have been here a few times for lunch - salads are OK, but the woman at the cashier station leaves a lot to be desired in terms of friendliness/helpfulness. I get that she's busy dealing with both people in line and those picking up to go orders, but a smile would go a long way. Too off-putting for me to come back. Note to manager: hire at least one other person to deal with the pick-up orders at busy lunch times. read more

I love the concept of MADD Greens, their salads are tasty. My issue is the preparation of ones salad. They don't use gloves! They only use gloves if they have to handle the food directly, ie an avocado. Two times I have gone and both times, when the person is filling the bowl with the appropriate amount of greens, their thumb is in my greens!!! I don't want anyone's hands directly touching my food. I find their lack of glove usuals to be really unsanitary and gross. It's not like you see them wash their hands before getting your greens in the bowl. I will not be returning. read more

I am so sad to say that I absolutely love the mad greens down south so I decided when I was in Cedar Park to stop assuming I would get the same service here. I actually was worn from a fellow coworker not to go there that they are rude and Usually out of items. I got two to go meals and although I repeated myself three times on what to exclude from the bowl I get home and I actually have a totally incorrect order. I absolutely will never go to the store again. Also with that I don't know if they have a new manager on staff but the girl working there did not listen pay attention or absorb anything!
