He tried to charge me $480 for a battery for my jeep wrangler which didn't include installation. When i refused, he tried to charge me $70, half an hour of diagnostics, for checking 2 of my fluids (oil & transmission fluid) without performing the diagnostic on my transmission, i was there to get a transmission diagnostics. In addition, got mad and hung up in my face because i chose to take it elsewhere. Horrible experience, I highly DO NOT recommend. The new shop I took it to informed me that my battery that was already in the jeep was under warranty and I can switch it out if I want or he can get me a better battery (same battery that Risters tried to charge me $480 for), for $250.

Rather than just doing the work and taking my money, Josh diagnosed the problem and recommended that I try and get the repair covered by the manufacturer's warranty before paying him to do the work. The manufacturer did not cover the repair in the end (read your owner's manual about your A/C, not everything is covered, even on a car that's less than two years-old). So I had Josh do the work and I am very satisfied with the result and the price.
