Really clean and organized! My daughter started getting into thrifting and vinyl records. Every store we've gone to has been not that great. We wouldn't have any luck finding anything or the store was really smelly or dirty. My daughter loved the records area. She was able to find quite of few records that she liked and at a cheap price (.50-$1.00 each). Of course there were more expensive ones but because she is just starting off her collection, she wanted to start small and cheap. The thrift side, she was able to a find a few items but some were questionable, like wow why is this even here? It should be a rag. We just really like how the entire store was very organized and staff were very helpful. We were told that we can bring in items to sell and get money for it! What a perfect way to buy the vinyl records, it will feel like we didn't use our own money. We will definitely be back! We will need a couple hours for sure! read more

This is the review for the clothing part: Super cheap, very well organized, color coordinated although some things were placed oddly meaning. that the active wear might be in one spot, then in another spot entirely Same thing with the purses. I've been wanting to stop here forever and finally got a chance since I was on this side of town and here are my thoughts. I was so excited when I found out that Mad Monk was still Rasputin. On the East side is Anastasia Vintage- All of the signs are bold and straight to the point. It is very clean, organized and affordable. I could have browsed the cd, records, dvds and books section forever on the west side of the store, but i had to return home to my pups. I had the worst experience at your Fresno Location that I have never seen or had. I come into your store twice a month to purchase your hats. So I went to the counter to make a purchase 9 hats. The employee asked if I wanted to get one more for a sale price. I went came back to the counter he tells me I have to get back in line. This is not how you conduct customer service. I should not have to go back and stand in line I was already there the employee asked me to get another. So when I complained both himself and the manger gave me an attitude talking back to me sure I was upset that doesn't make any sense. I should have been able to go back to the counter to pay for my stuff. The employee asked me to get another. I have been in customer service for over 40 years I know how to take care of a customer even the way you talk to them it's not right. Needless to say I won't be back. These two kids I was dealing with need to be trained in how customer service works specially the way they talk to you . Awesome selection of dvd, cd's, vhs and cassette tapes. Also a vintage/thrift clothing portion inside. They also buy clothes and media. I can spend hours browsing. Also pretty good sale sections. The store is very clean and organized. Staff is friendly and helpful. No food or drinks allowed while in store, they have a self to leave drinks. Backpacks must be left upfront. I drove from Sacramento and purchased 15 used 3D Blu-rays. Before buying them, I specifically asked to inspect the discs because used 3D releases often have multiple discs and it is common for the 3D disc to be missing. I was only allowed to inspect about half of them before being rushed through checkout. After I got to my car and inspected the rest, I discovered that one of the movies was missing the 3D disc--the exact issue I had been trying to prevent. I immediately returned to the store. No replacement copy was available. I requested a refund, but was only offered store credit even after explaining that I live about 200 miles away in the Sacramento area and may not be back for a very long time. The amount was only $4.50, but that's not the point. I paid for a complete 3D movie and was sold an incomplete item. The solution offered was store credit that I may never realistically be able to use. The store has a great selection of 3D Blu-rays, which is why I stop there when passing through Fresno, but this experience left me very disappointed. read more

Great selection, good prices.. HORRIBLE staff. Last two times I went it was just issues. Their site has zero terms that says no guns or knives, nor do they have any signage outside that says so either. Yet the employee's will bug you to leave them outside if they see them. The employee's have a rude tongue and have no issue calling you names, they will kick you out over the smallest inconvenience, and overall they're kinda just tower rats. It's just okay. They do have a huge collection of vinyl and other format records, but some of the prices are outrageous in comparison to other distributors. I try to shop local as much possible, but in this economy, the dollar only stretches so far. Yeah there's a great selection of DVDs and CDs, but the business practices are terrible. Don't buy clothes there unless you know it's going to fit, oh and they have a crappy dressing room situation. Maybe you need to return something you purchased they only have an 8- day return window for store credit or final sale. Not to mention the items they paid for only cost them a dollar and they will mark it up 1200%! Save your time and efforts and DO NOT SELL HERE. If you want a good conscience, then don't buy clothes here either. The place is depressing. just left as of 3/9/25 we came in and were greeted but this other guy was following us my bf pointed it out and he followed us the entire time until he came up to me and told me i can't have my bag and was very rude about it. he kept implying i was going to steal and i literally didn't notice him following us because i haven't been here in so long and i was so happy to finally look at the music again and take my time... we were there for 5 minutes and immediately left after he did that because he ruined our mood after that. Owner over the phone was very rude when inquiring about a defective BRAND NEW RECORD. it's literally not impossible for a record to be scratched out of the box, i buy almost all reissues and i've received my fair share of crappy presses. and the SINGULAR time i purchased a defective product and stated that i have video evidence of the scratch on the record where i experience the skip, he continued to state that "it's VERY rare for a record to be defective out of the box. It's most likely a turntable issue." it is impossible for a scratch on the music to be my record player's problem. i have an AT-LP60x. Literally no other skipping issues on ANY of my other records in my collections. *you can see the scratch on my record in the glare of the light in the picture* Terrible service, terrible value for money cuz records are overpriced. the cherry on top was that he told me they were closed at 7pm when apple maps and google says the close @ 8pm. Unprofessional and rude. UPDATE: went in today to replace the record and owner would rather argue with me for ten mins AFTER MAKING ME WAIT to be helped, in priority of other customers after i previously already waited in a LONG LINE. he insisted that it's still my turntables problem after him and worker confirmed the scratch is there. Eventually replaced item on the agreement that i wouldn't come back. So unfortunate they would rather lose a consistent customer than take care of their customers. Owner was insisting that i didn't know what i was talking about and said that new products and new releases are bound to have issues. I told him he should stick to being a thrift store then if they can't handle selling new products. if it's defective and i purchased it, TAKE IT UP WITH YOUR DISTRIBUTOR and return and get a refund yourself so you still make your profit margins. I like the clothing styles they choose to sell and the prices are really good. I made about $20 selling barely used designer clothing which wasn't a good compensation. I understand they need to make a profit, but I would have made at least $100 elsewhere like Poshmark or eBay so 1 star off for that. Great music selection. read more

I went in to sell some expensive clothing that I either never wore or only wore once or twice. They took the clothes and looked at them and decided that only a few items were a acceptable to keep and for my 150$+ items (two of the dresses) they gave me back 8$. Wouldn't even take half the bag. I only tried this place cause they said they would pay more but when I went to Plato's closet they offered me more than that and accepted more of the clothing. I am NEVER giving them my money or working with them again. The worst part was the girl up front had the absolute rudest attitude towards me. I miss the original Rasputin. This place might be slowly becoming like Plateos Closet. They're extremely picky about what clothes they accept, maybe a little too picky for a thrift store. The customer service is good but could be a whole lot better. My brother took my mom and I to this place and it's not that hard to miss. It's a now bright pink building and catches the eye quickly. I love going to new thrift stores cause you never know what to find. This place is massive!! They have so many vinyls, old and new and CD\DVD Collections. They have something for everybody. The clothing area is pretty big but some of the things are a little pricey for it being a thrift store but the quietly of clothes is overall good.
