Owner over the phone was very rude when inquiring about a defective BRAND NEW RECORD. it's literally not impossible for a record to be scratched out of the box, i buy almost all reissues and i've received my fair share of crappy presses. and the SINGULAR time i purchased a defective product and stated that i have video evidence of the scratch on the record where i experience the skip, he continued to state that "it's VERY rare for a record to be defective out of the box. It's most likely a turntable issue." it is impossible for a scratch on the music to be my record player's problem. i have an AT-LP60x. Literally no other skipping issues on ANY of my other records in my collections. *you can see the scratch on my record in the glare of the light in the picture* Terrible service, terrible value for money cuz records are overpriced. the cherry on top was that he told me they were closed at 7pm when apple maps and google says the close @ 8pm. Unprofessional and rude. UPDATE: went in today to replace the record and owner would rather argue with me for ten mins AFTER MAKING ME WAIT to be helped, in priority of other customers after i previously already waited in a LONG LINE. he insisted that it's still my turntables problem after him and worker confirmed the scratch is there. Eventually replaced item on the agreement that i wouldn't come back. So unfortunate they would rather lose a consistent customer than take care of their customers. Owner was insisting that i didn't know what i was talking about and said that new products and new releases are bound to have issues. I told him he should stick to being a thrift store then if they can't handle selling new products. if it's defective and i purchased it, TAKE IT UP WITH YOUR DISTRIBUTOR and return and get a refund yourself so you still make your profit margins. As a business that shouldn't be your customers issue to handle.

They have the biggest selection of blu ray, regular dvd and vhs movies along with cd's, vinyl records, books and other nostalgic items.

Don't go clothes shopping here as there is no line to try clothes but they don't allow you to try on more than 5 items in the dressing room.

Great place to bring kids if they love books. The children's section is fantastic with a huge…read morevariety of books for different ages, from picture books to chapter books and graphic novels. There are also plenty of toys and fun items like LEGO sets and themed merchandise. Kids will definitely enjoy browsing around here. The selection is excellent and it's easy to spend a lot of time exploring the shelves. A great stop if you're looking for books or gifts for young readers.

Recent studies show a dramatic decline in Americans reading books for pleasure, particularly among…read morethe younger generations. We can primarily blame streaming devices, podcasts, and social media for that. I am first to admit that these distractions have led to my shorter attention span and fleeting interest in what used to be a hobby of mine, reading [for pleasure]. I vowed to change this as one of my goals for the year. This is why I consider myself fortunate that there is a Barnes & Noble Booksellers in Fresno. Barnes & Noble has a vast selection of books, children's games and toys, a music and movie store, a stationary, a kid's reading room, and a Starbucks inside for adults to do the same while enjoying a cup of coffee and a pastry. Moreover, they host in-store or virtual events every month featuring critically acclaimed authors discussing their latest novels. It is the largest online bookstore and the best destination for rare and collectible books, magazines, and games. I stopped reading magazines years ago when I ended all my various subscriptions. Sadly, this was around the same time I stopped reading for pleasure. The recent novels, including those that make the New York Times Best Sellers list, do not interest me. I gravitate to classic American fiction, graphic novels, history, humor, and biography. Barnes & Noble has a virtually boundless selection of them. A few years ago, it appeared Barnes & Noble was about to suffer the same fate as its competitor, the now-defunct Borders Bookstore. They have weathered the storm and have made a comeback, reporting strong sales in recent years. Like most Barnes & Noble which are known for their friendly service and keeping the stores clean and well-organized, this Fresno location is no exception. I always find the people who work here to be very friendly, accessible, and generous with their time. I have also noticed the staff are good at picking up misplaced books and magazines and returning them to their original location and will stop what they are doing to assist a customer. I get a nostalgic feeling whenever I step inside a Barnes & Noble. Reading is obviously a great hobby to pick back up on. I am lucky there is one in town I can always visit to springboard my renewed interest in reading.
