Ok so this place was super cool…read more It was my first time at a golf simulation and I didn't really know what to expect, but after trying indoor mini golf I was ready to take things to the next level and it did not disappoint. Venue 5/5 it was quite spacious and our area had great privacy. Food 2/5: Im not going to lie it was pretty bad but I guess you dont come here for the food. Drinks 3/5 not bad, had some pretty tasty shots. Overall I would def come back but maybe just eat beforehand.

We opted for the one in the back with a high top to have more of a private space. The girl working quickly got us up and running on a driving range while explaining how to manipulate the computer. When we were done on the range, she let us pick a course from their large list. She continued to check on us and bring us refills and our fries we ordered. Her shift ended when we had an hour left and the next 2 employees clocked in. They were friendly and helpful but we had to bring our cups up to them to ask for a refill, which was annoying since we were the only people playing. They were also out of all of their pizzas. The graphics could use an upgrade since the courses don't really look that accurate other than the distances. The simulator worked as expected the whole round though which was impressive. We did wish they had stands to hold our bags because we basically just had them laying around on the ground. Overall, the price seemed like a great deal at only $40/hr before 4pm on a weekday. We will definitely come back.

It doesn't really work for my tastes, but also wouldn't stop me from visiting. The light kevel difference when it's bright outside and you enter and it's a little hard to see, but you quickly adjust. I ordered their Hamburger ($15 + $1 for cheese) it is a Charbroiled ground sirloin patty served on a brioche bun with lettuce, tomato and onion. The patty was small, probably a 1/4 pound patty. The meat is tasty and definitely good quality meat. The veggies were super fresh. However the burger to veggie equation was way too far on the veggie side. Also at $16 it is way too small. I think if the doubled the size of the patty or just did a double patty they would have a good thing going. At it current size and price though I couldn't recommend. zi got fries with it and they were very good. The service was very good. Alan seemed to enjoy his job and it showed in his service. overall sadly it is only a 3 star review. The atmosphere and small size of meat vs price. Plus the place was just really loud. Would I return? No. If someone else wanted to go, I wouldn't be opposed, but on my own I wouldn't!

The menu in the entrance features Rueben soup- a cup or a bowl. No price! Wait until you get the bill --$8.50 a CUP ! Thankfully, we didn't each order a Bowl! The soup was mediocre at best. After questioning the price, our Waitperson assured us that the bowl was chuck-full of Corned Beef, as if that alone justified the price! (And what else goes into Rueben soup?) The $4.00 split charge for plates will not entice diners to rush back! We split the wet burrito. The portion size would justify that added cost, but not in this case! I do have to give them a "thumbs up" on the drinks; but the price points on the rest of the menu are certainly not appealing!

We ate first and got one of their deals where you pay $35 and get a $25 play card and an entree. It was definitely worth it and felt like a good value once we were done playing games. Obviously it depends on what you choose to play because they all cost a different amount of credits but we were able to play for about an hour and 15 minutes which felt like the perfect amount of time. We both enjoyed our meals and commented on how we were actually impressed with the food. Dave and Busters is definitely known for the games so their food is underrated! Our waiter in the dining area was tentative and friendly as well.

I cannot say enough good things about Canterbury Creek Farm School. Our family is still new-ish to…read moreGrand Rapids -- we moved here two years ago from Chicago -- and Farm School quickly became like a second family to our 3.5yo son. Born a COVID baby, he has always loved to play independently, but struggled in group situations. The staff and owners are incredibly compassionate and caring -- encouraging our son to play with others, but at his own pace. He has completely come out of his shell over this school year. It has been a joy to see the daily updates on the Brightwheel app (which teachers update during the school day), so that even when I am at work, I can relish in the absolute joy of a time our son is having at school. Time spent outdoors and with the animals is not only great for our high energy boy to blow off steam, but teaches so many life skills (outside of a classroom) that are so necessary to early childhood development. Their approach to early childhood education is incredible -- keeps all the content fun for kids, but with incredible impact. To compare his self-portrait and handwritten name from the beginning to the end of the year is insane! His end of year book brought me to tears -- and made me feel even more blessed to be a part of the Canterbury Creek family. In fact, this morning on our way to drop off, he told me he was so sad that school was over and that he would miss it over the summer. Good thing we will be back for Summer Camp and next school year. I cannot wait to sign up my 2.5yo daughter next!

Our 4 year old daugher was at preschool there and will go again for young fives next year. We will do two summer camps with her and 6 year old sister.

I was pleased to learn that not only to they welcome all levels of ability but all ages as well. My daughter loves going to her level 2 class with Miss Emma and our son is doing great in his Ninja Zone class which is teaching him all the agility moves you see on Ninja Warrior. R-Athletics has a wide array of times for classes including ones in the evening which works well for working families like ours. It is pricier than say gymnastics at the Kroc center or GR Parks and Rec but the convenience of having evening and weekend classes as well as the ability to make up missed classes compensates for it. The facility is very nice. Divided into 2 gyms with the smaller/beginner classes on one side and the more advanced gymnasts on the larger side. Having a child in a class on each side (at the same time) I like that both sides are viewable from the center waiting area which is furnished with chairs as wells as a play/coloring area for younger siblings. The instructors/staff are all terrific. Supportive and helpful they do their jobs while ensuring that our kids are having fun and staying safe. Towards the end of the 8 week session you get a written evaluation on the progress your child is making and what they need to work on to advance to the next level. Sessions are 8 weeks but you can start at any time and it will be pro-rated for you.
