What an interesting concept! Throw a football at bowling pins while hanging with your friends. Simple and fun but harder than you think. There is a large parking lot for car loads of people so unlimited spaces for all you guests. It was $15/person, you get a lane to play in for as long as you want! You can bring your own food or have food delivered but alcohol has to be purchased there. They have this beer machine that fills your cup from the bottom so there are these signs that say font finger your cuphole that I just cracked up at every time I seen one. The reason is because the port will leak and you will lose all you beer. The staff was friendly, and the establishment was clean, even the bathrooms. we only played two games. I had such a fun time at the Fowling Warehouse! There are a two side of the facility and each side has around 14 lanes. The prices were really affordable, they have a nicely stocked bar, good drink selection and all though they don't have food you can order or bring food in. The space is great for kids and adults, the rules are super easy and the lanes are not too far from each other so even a non skilled thrower can hit some pins! Some friends and I went to the Fowling Warehouse over the weekend to check it out and have some fun. We got there around 7:30 on a Friday and we were able to get an open lane right away. They have two sections each with about 18 lanes. We paid at the front and then someone explained to us how fowling works. There's no scoring, just whichever team knocks down all the pins first wins. There are a couple more rules but it's a very basic game and simple enough for anyone to pick up. The actual technique of throwing a football to hit the pins is a little more tricky, especially once there are only a couple pins left! We all had so much fun, even though it's not always easy as the football can bounce unpredictably at times. There is a large bar on each side of the hall and we never had to wait for drinks. They are a little pricey ($7 for a Tito's and soda) and can definitely add up quickly. Pro tip: keep an eye on your drinks and put them in a safe spot - we had multiple casualties from drinks being hit by footballs! The people working were friendly and quick to mop up the spilled drinks. There is plenty of seating in the bar areas if you want a break or if you bring in food. I had so much fun fowling and would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to do something a little different with a group of friends. It was awesome to see the diversity of people all playing this silly game and having a blast. read more

Went here for an event on game day. Ive never played this game before but went on a whim. I was hesitant about going but now this is something i would do or participate in again. I had a lot of fun. It was really well organized with plenty of room, big bar with not much wait time and awesome bartenders. I was appreciative of the clean bathrooms and awesome staff that were helpful on any situation. I'd highly recommend this to anyone wanting to try or do something a little different. A large group of us came to open Fowling and really enjoyed it! The staff is very friendly and the place is setup nicely. There are tons of "lanes" and 2 large bars on both sides of the warehouse. Thy advertise that you can bring your own food or order delivery. We noticed a lot of people having pizza dropped off while they were playing. They take pride in having 150 types of beer and they also have large TVs to watch the games while you play. Overall, this is a new concept that finally made its way to Grand Rapids! I have gone here twice for an office party of 20-30 people. First off, the staff was very professional both times. It was clean and I did not notice any stale alcohol odors at all. Now they do not serve food here but you can order food from local restaurants and have it delivered and eat it there. They do have a bar and sell alcohol. Now the first time I went, I thought this was going to be so stupid. To my surprise, I was very wrong. Throwing a football at some bowling pins across the way was fun and sometimes frustrating. When you get down to a pin or two and just can't seem to know it down is frustrating. But that is all part of the game. The only down side I had was a sore shoulder the next morning. LOL. We visited with a group for the first time in January of 2019. Totally unsure of what to expect and had no expectations. We made a reservation for two lanes ahead of time - highly recommend for groups. We paid half up front and half when we arrived. The warehouse is huge and offers lots of space for each group. We were able to take up 4 of their barrel tables & camp our around those. Bar is easily accessible and HUGE. Lots of great beer options! They do not serve food but you can bring in whatever you want - we ordered pizza from JT's and that worked out great. I also saw groups bringing in crockpots and party food - another great idea! So, fair warning if you want a snack or light app - bring your own. Only downside. The actual fowling is so much fun & way harder than I had anticipated! Good for anyone at any athletic level. The girls in our group had fun playing against the guys, too. There are two areas - one is open fowling and the other is for reservations. Both sides were full on a Saturday night! A group of friends decided to take me here saying it would be fun. It was pretty packed with people and had the odor of a locker room. It took a while to get a drink and the staff was not so friendly. Perhaps this was due to how busy it was. Personally drink prices are pretty high for the amount you get. This place is a blast! They had on a ton of choices of beer which was great - they even had these cups that fill from the bottom up. We had 8 people and we spread out with the open play to 2 lanes and stayed for a few hours. We ended up going across the street to get some pizzas because they dont have food, but it was fun to just hang out after a few rounds of playing and eat. The staff was excellent, they cleaned up messes fast and gave us excellent directions. Bartenders were really fast and still very friendly! The music was great too. We held our end of year youth hockey party at the Fowling Warehouse and it was absolutely amazing!! The staff -- Luwan, Laura, Cameron, and Meagan were wonderful. They greeted all of us (70+) as we came in making us feel welcome. Laura and Megan were quick to get everyone the wristbands and Luwan was the friendliest of hostesses making sure we all knew what to expect and that they were there to make our time fowling the most fun possible. Cameron was great at getting all of the boys (ages 10-15) up to speed on the rules of the game. He was really good about offering reminders about how to play (and not to play) in a way that showed he wanted the boys to have fun but most importantly be safe. He was always smiling and making sure everyone had a good time. The layout of the building was wonderful and made the event one of the best we have had. There was plenty of space for those who were not actually fowling to visit and enjoy the atmosphere. The staff provided us with a ton of tables to set up our munchies and lunch. Highly recommended! Groups large or small would enjoy an afternoon or evening at the Fowling Warehouse. Welcome to town Luwan and team. We are so glad you are here!!
