MaddLulu is the BEST PLACE in Metro Atlanta to get bubble tea! Their bubble tea is homemade and worth the wait! They also sell regular tea, coffee, coffee based drinks, matcha drinks, and homemade desserts! The employees and owner (who is actively involved in her business) are very helpful if you don't know what you'd like to order and can customize drinks by request. They make you feel at home and like family, which is why I am a regular customer. I pray that MaddLulu continues to grow and expand!

Lots of choices Great Flavors Great Service Chill atmosphere My card will be well acquainted with Maddlulu. I love the refreshing teas for myself like the fruit blast and all the boba for my sister.

I really tried to like this ... I just couldn't get over the burnt coconut flakes all in the drink .

I was hopeful for this place. Maybe I ordered the wrong thing but I'm sure there is a difference in roasted and burnt coconut ... In a sorta hurry today we Walked in and the guy wanted me to sit down so bad , it was so awkward . I also wanted to pay immediately but again was told to sit .... lol Idk maybe it wasn't my kinda vibe of a place ... but the burnt ness of the coconut was so disappointing.

We were so excited to see a Boba place open near us. We were not disappointed. The service was great and personal and the Boba was the best we have had in the state. We will be back.

I absolutely love it here. I've only been here about 2 or 3 times and each time I get a very pleasant, warm and inviting experience AND it's Black owned!! The cafe itself is very cozy and intimate and the customer service is extremely welcoming which is why I keep coming back. As for the beverages, I always try to get something new which is absolutely delicious. Maddlulu is less than 2 miles away from home so I'll definitely be sure to come more often because it's worth it every single time

Porterdale is a city that you don't hear much about. Since we were in the area, we're Asian. We wanted boba. After searching on Yelp, we came across Maddlulu. It's in the heart of the city. It's a cute little town. We came and saw girls dressed up in their best in their prom gear with their dates. We realized they were posing in front of Maddlulu. The exterior is definitely IG worthy. You have to step up a few stairs to get inside. It is a cute, cozy place. We all placed our orders but didn't pay until we all got our drinks. We were told that if anyone wanted tapioca boba that it would take longer. The popping boba would be no wait. What I didn't realize is that it's only ONE person doing all the work. We waited about an hour for 7 drinks. I didn't get any boba. I got a coconut smoothie. There were a few misunderstandings and incorrect drinks. Therefore, we waited even longer and that's why it took an hour. Now, regardless of all that, customer service is top notched. Thank goodness, none of us was in a rush but we were just bored at that moment cause of the wait. Plus add little kids with us too. The drinks were very Americanized, meaning it is super sweet. I mean, the effort is there. Again, customer service is great! However, with our Asian tastes buds, we're used to what we have back home. I didn't even take a pic of my drink cause I was just ready to leave. I did take a pic of my niece with her drink. It was strawberry with lychee popping boba. If you're in the area, definitely stop by. 73/2019

AMAZING! Mango moma on the left and pink lady on the right, the tapioca pearls were fresh warm and chewy, the mango popping boba was fresh and juicy! The flavor of the drinks were SO good, I've had milk teas that tasted like a powder mix, but these tasted like real teas were used! They have such a good menu, I'll be back to try different things!

I've only had Boba Tea once before but I'm glad I tried it again at Madd Lulu's Cafe. The service was great and the tea was truly refreshing. She offers twin cups which allow you to try two flavors at the same time. I had the Pink Baby and the Mango Moma. Both were delicious! She also offers a plethora of coffees, teas, and more. I didn't get a chance to experience inside the cafe due to Covid, but from what I can see from the patio, it's quite cute. The front and side patio seating areas are cute as well. The area itself reminds me of a scene out of the movie To Wong Foo with Patrick Swayze, Wesley Snipes, and John Leguizamo. Overall, I really enjoyed everything.

The establishment exuded potential, but upon arrival, I found myself browsing the menu unaided, as no staff member was initially present. Eventually, someone emerged from the back, albeit lacking in enthusiasm or helpfulness. While I understand that everyone has off days or personal matters, their responses to my inquiries were consistently negative, stating that certain ingredients were unavailable. In my opinion, Beefresh could easily achieve a five-star rating with improved customer service and ingredient availability. Furthermore, the actual bowl I ordered contained toppings that were not on offer, adding to the disappointment. Additionally, the application of Nutella and peanut butter was overly generous to the point of excess, necessitating removal, which proved more challenging than expected. In conclusion, I would recommend Beefresh if executed correctly and if all ingredients are readily available. However, if not, I would suggest exploring alternative options for a more satisfying experience.

The service is always good. Everyone always seems so happy to be at work. Lol and that says a lot because most of the employees have been younger, either high schoolers or college aged kiddos. The inside is always clean and smells fresh like they use bleach and hot water to sanitize lol. But the bee theme is just too cute. I took my younger cousin one day before heading to the strawberry patch and he raved about how much he loved the place. And, he loved the boba ball samples too.

I was stumped on what I wanted to try so I asked the employee for recommendations. She mentioned that the Bubble Milk Tea is their top seller, so that's what I went with. The drink was so cute when it came out with the handle! The boba was fresh, warm, and had a subtle sweetness that I loved. It paired nicely with the milk tea, which was light and not sweet. I really enjoyed it! Even my boyfriend, who doesn't like tea-forward milk teas, liked it too. I'll definitely be bringing him along next time. The aesthetic of the shop is also gorgeous. I loved all the little details--from the baristas' outfits to the tea bar setup and wall decorations. Everything felt thoughtfully designed and very picturesque. I'll definitely be coming back for another Bubble Milk Tea, and next time I want to try something from the Grape Series since I love Asian grape flavors. Looking forward to it!

During our recent road trip to Atlanta, I got it as is with the perfect sugar. It wasn't too sweet, the tea and milk went together so well, and the boba itself was chewy and the perfect texture. Safe to say, I'm a fan! If anyone is visiting Georgia/Atlanta/Duluth and looking for the best boba, I highly recommend Chicha. There was convenient parking, and their samples were great, too. Good seating and a clean bathroom as well. No notes.

This black tea was full-bodied: rich, slightly malty and cocoa-y, perfectly sweet. I was nervous initially as I'd read this tea has minty notes, but I didn't notice this tbh. - Signature Alpine Green Milk Tea: Noted to be their top seller, this green tea was light and pleasantly floral with minimal sweetness. It grew on me the more I drank, but was overshadowed by how much we liked the previous tea haha. The boba pearls themselves were nicely chewy, no notes. Ambiance is more of a grab-n-go vibe, there are some benches to sit on while waiting for your drink. Service was fast and friendly. Lots of parking available. 9/10 would recommend!

In case you are a boba tea fan and still don't know, the origin of bubble tea is Taiwan. This specific shop is labeled as Atlanta, which is still ITP but this shop is in the Doraville Hmart Plaza. If you are looking for any atmosphere and vibes, it's not going to happen here. This shop is set up for pandemic with bullet proof glass and isolated waiting area. Tea is straight forward fruit teas and milk teas, and they taste like old fashioned Taiwanese tea stalls. No frills, and no trendy teas. Just consistent teas. Service is friendly enough, but it's beat to know what you want from the exterior menu window poster before walking in, so you don't hold up the line. Drinks here are not too sweet, so if ordering a citrus tea, order at least 70% sweet (otherwise it will be too sour).
