He also has an extremely fine operation going in the form of his house brand "Fiori di Lusso" which I highly recommend checking out as well. I picked up my first Attolini piece from him -- the most insane A2 leather bomber with all the right details in a lovely creamy caramel suede -- and am absolutely over the moon with it given how difficult it is to find Cesare Attolini in general. Ian was so patient with me as I tried on a bunch of other things as well and took extensive photos for my own notes; he also brought over recommendations which were generally spot on. His garment bags are very well made and apparently done by the same people who make Cucinelli garment bags. AND he has all of the authentic hangers which is not what most boutique owners can claim. The owner replied, "We do not discriminate." That response wasn't just dismissive--it was offensive. Offering a military discount isn't discrimination. It's a sign of respect for the men and women who've risked--and in many cases, given--their lives for this country. Equating gratitude with discrimination shows a serious lack of awareness, and quite frankly, a lack of respect. What made it even more disappointing is that this store is located in a community where many military families live. These are the parents, spouses, and children who support service members from the home front--often enduring long deployments, uncertainty, and sacrifice themselves. To respond that way in a place so connected to the military is not just tone-deaf--it's disrespectful to the very backbone of this community. If I could give zero stars, I would. This business doesn't deserve even one for the way it treats the very people who make it possible for all of us to live and work freely. Of course, every business has the right to decide its own policies--but customers have the right to support businesses that reflect their values. I understand resale shops need margin, but the gap between market value and what they offered was excessive -- especially on sought-after pairs. Today was particularly frustrating. I DM'd them in advance about some pairs I was looking to move. I had already received an offer from another shop and asked if they could beat it. The conversation made it seem like they would at least match or improve the number. However, when I arrived in person with the pairs, there was confusion and they ultimately would not match or beat the other offer. I've seen their videos and while they're entertaining, the low offers shown on camera feel very different when you're the one on the receiving end. I've sold the same pairs -- even at "lowball" prices on GOAT and to other shops -- and still made nearly double what was offered here. Their business model may work for them, and that's fine. But seller beware -- it may not be worth your time unless you're comfortable accepting significantly below-market offers.

I bought almost…read more1,000 grommets to install on a jacket sample after Behrooz told me he would let me rent the die sets from him so I wouldn't have to purchase those separately (they're over $100 each and I needed 4). I purchased the grommets and returned a couple of weeks later to rent the die sets from him and he then changed his mind and said he couldn't rent them to me because he uses them and he acted as if he had no idea what I was taking about when I told him he said I could rent from him. I would not have bought the grommets if I knew I had to buy the die sets as well. The whole point was to rent the sets and save money. I could have bought much cheaper grommets and die sets elsewhere, which I will be doing now. The second encounter- I was trying to learn from him about grommet installation. I know it's not his job to educate me, but I simply asked a question as to why some grommets look different from others on the backside when they are installed and he told me to "stop being so picky" and got annoyed and blew me off and wouldn't give me an answer. I told him I just wanted to understand the difference but he refused to give me an answer. Again, I know it's not his job to teach me anything, but the poor customer service was very frustrating especially as someone who was planning on buying in bulk for production. I will unfortunately be finding another supplier.
