Although my previous experience with Tilt in Inglewood was decent, my recent visits have been extremely disappointing. The offers have been consistently low to the point where it simply makes more sense to walk away. I understand resale shops need margin, but the gap between market value and what they offered was excessive -- especially on sought-after pairs. Today was particularly frustrating. I DM'd them in advance about some pairs I was looking to move. I had already received an offer from another shop and asked if they could beat it. The conversation made it seem like they would at least match or improve the number. However, when I arrived in person with the pairs, there was confusion and they ultimately would not match or beat the other offer. I've seen their videos and while they're entertaining, the low offers shown on camera feel very different when you're the one on the receiving end. I've sold the same pairs -- even at "lowball" prices on GOAT and to other shops -- and still made nearly double what was offered here. Their business model may work for them, and that's fine. But seller beware -- it may not be worth your time unless you're comfortable accepting significantly below-market offers. read more

Parking not ideal, I parked in a neighborhood down the street. Went in to sell a few pairs of shoes, managed to sell every pair NOT for what I wanted but still a cool amount. The store is really nice, well put together. There are tons of shoe options I had never seen before, few clothing options as well. Trey was very entertaining, a people's person. I did not expect to get recorded, but it was all in good fun. The security guy was cool, camera dude was cool. Definitely recommend if you have some cool shoes to sell, or trade. read more

I walked in with 4 airs of new balance 9060 two size 13s and two size 14s brand new deadstock and he said $100 for all four Pairs. All shoes easily were worth over $400 and he said $100 then $200. Or you can donate. Like what are you smoking . Every time I come it's the same response as if he picks and chooses which size 14 to buy. Not in a good way, pulled up thinking I can get a decent deal on some USED shoes not new. I'm fully aware of how that goes. But they wanna sell you 20 dollars under Stock X and call that discounted. I pulled up to the store had my look around asked some questions about shoes I was interested in left dissatisfied. Then went on offer up to see if it was all the same or just a bad experience I had in store and it was sure enough the same thing. Shoes I was looking at are worn. Soles dirty, back and toe side creased and still wanted 20 dollars under Stock X resale value. Save the gas just order from StockX at least you'll know they're real and you won't have to deal with under par customer service. Short and blunt on offer up as well. read more
