We talked extensively about what I wanted to do with my 46 windows. Yes. We have a huge amount of window and I had no idea what to do with them. We decided the most necessary windows to have covered and then the decisions on what type of blind/ shutter to install. As soon as the products arrived Matt was out to install. He did an amazing job getting them hung with batteries and remotes (when needed). Kelli and Matt had to make a change to one of my orders and called me to talk about it. They made a very nice choice of product and color when one of the blinds I had ordered could not be made to fit one of my windows. It has been 7 years and I'm still impressing visitors with my wall of motor shades and love my blackout shades in the bedroom. We just had Matt and his company install blinds throughout our new commercial office and they really look fabulous. Matt put a lot of care into helping us select good quality blinds that both work with our décor and function the way we need them to in each specific area. I can't say enough how much they soften the building and the quality is superior. All I can say is...WOW! I met with 4 different companies to have my carpet replaced but Matt and Kelli won my business from the minute Matt walked in the door. The whole process was fantastic...simple and painless!! They listened to what we were wanting and they provided us with exactly what we wanted/needed. I had Vignette Roman shades installed on three windows in my formal living room a couple of weeks ago. Matt came when he saId he would, both to measure and to install them. He took quite a bit of time getting the shades exactly level and set to my satisfaction, which I appreciated. Also, Kelli was very efficient with the contract, follow-up etc. Today I had a wood blind installed in my breakfast room and I am very pleased again. I cannot recommend them highly enough, especially after a very poor experience in April with another window treatment company. We received a referral from a friend. Lindsay came over and we immediately liked her. Her expertise is bar none, and we especially appreciated the interim blinds when we moved in to our home. We opted to go with the Composite Shutters for price, and you would never know the difference. My only 1/2 a complaint was when the shutters were installed I quietly asked the installers to take off their shoes, and they didn't comply. I would suggest this is something in the future they think about. Most companies provide their workers with shoe booties. I realize they are in and out while installing the shutters, but it was something that was important to me. Overall will use them again and recommend the company. read more

Last year my husband and I built our first home. We had no clue where to start when it came to blinds. Kelli contacted me, letting me know that her and Matt started a new company and should check them out. We purchased automatic shades for our large windows and wooden blinds from Made in the shade in March 2017. Matt and Kelli were awesome! Kelli helped us find blinds and shades that look incredible and fit our Budget. After the shades were installed, we noticed they were not made correctly. Matt noticed the manufacturer did not make them to our specifications. Matt assured us he would resolve this issue immediately. We were having extremely strong and bright sun coming through our terrace's door at our condo, seeing it was a full length of glass. These folks suggested a wonderful dual-action shade (via Norman, the manufacturer) that covers the full door length and opens from the top and bottom as well. Great people to work with, provided reasonable pricing, and were attentive to a decent delivery timeline and installation process.
