I needed florals for my husband's memorial service. I contemplated using an OKC florist in the Crown Heights area. Upon reflection I considered Madeline's, as I have driven past her shop for over 30 years and I wanted to keep my $ in Edmond, if possible. I was greeted quickly upon arrival and the designer listened to my ideas and needs. She asked for the budget and retired shortly to consult with others, returned and with her ideas along with mine we created an amazing presentation. The price was most reasonable! In May I had paid almost double this price for an arrangement with my mother's urn in a small town in Arkansas. And They delivered for $15! I would hands down recommend Madeline's for any project! My son and I Just picked up a corsage that I had ordered. The corsage was nothing like we had talked about. My son even said, " this isn't what you said we wanted over the phone." The lady was not the friendliest when I had asked her if she could fix it. When we received the remake corsage, the flower had already fallen off when we pulled it out of the box, it looked like a toddler had done the job. We took it to another florist to see if they could help us and they said they have never seen anything done this poorly. I love supporting small business but won't with this company again. My mom and I have both purchased flowers for my Grandma using Madeline's. My Grandma lives out of state, and I wanted to send her a bouquet of flowers. I also needed to make up for forgetting her 92nd birthday. My mom suggested I check out Madeline's website. They are close to where my grandma lives and it was reasonably priced. Madeline's uses FTD, but they also have their own items. I picked my bouquet, I paid through the website, the next day they called my grandma to make sure she was home, then dropped off the flowers. I currently live in San Francisco but was back home for the Thanksgiving holiday and on my way to my boyfriend's parents' house when I realized I probably shouldn't be showing up empty-handed. I quickly searched for a local flower shop that was open earlier in the morning and found Madeline's. I gave them a call and described my situation - all I needed was a hand bouquet nothing in a vase but with some color and boy did they deliver! The arrangement was beautiful with a rainbow of colors (sorry I forgot to take a picture). It had flowers I had never seen before with hues you'd have to put multiple instagram filters on to replicate. In short they were quick and helpful and all within my budget of about $40. My partner ordered over $100 in flowers from this florist for valentine's day. The flowers had 4 roses in it, 3 daisies, one hydrangea blossoms, 2 big pink elephant ear things, and two huge hands full of non-flowering green stuff. The pink elephant ear things had scrapes and damage on them, the roses were already wilting, and the hydrangea blossoms (which normally last a while, in my experience) were completely wilted the next day. I don't know if they were oversold because of valentine's day or what but I will never order anything from them. The vase they came in was very very big and feels like it weighs 10 pounds. I am sure I could have gotten it at Hobby Lobby for less than $100 though. read more

I just went into the shop to take a look at what they had. Needed to use the restroom and blow my nose first. When I asked where the restroom was... She hesitated and asked if I was going to buy something. I was so taken back by the question, and I wasn't sure if I was going to buy anything so I said no. She told me I needed to go to Wendy's down the street. It was too early for Wendy's to even been open. :( I am not mad... But extremely hurt.
