I'm not normally a fan because of heavy breading and little chicken, but these were the opposite of what I thought they were going to be. These tenders were lightly breaded large pieces of perfectly cooked chicken. Last, but not least, there was the coffee. This coffee was so good that it didn't need anything added to it to make it drinkable. I was very impressed with how friendly the staff was, and how they kept the buffet tables clean and well stocked. The only downside is that the place is on the smaller side, and very popular, so it can be a bit crowded. Don't let that be a deterrent, though. The food is worth it!

Scratch made breads daily - great sandwiches start with the bread. Chicken salad and pimento cheese made in house are a perfect cold sandwich if you want variety from Turkey, ham, etc. Hot sandwiches- Try the Italian, Smokehouse grilled cheese with pulled pork and bacon or my favorite the Apple Bacon Cheddar melt. I had already left the store, so when I called back and told them I was disappointed as the menu had advertised "a blend" the manager told me "it depends on what we have in stock that day. Some days it's more one lettuce than the other." So I guess that means if they have a ton of leftover spinach that's all you're getting. Plus the price was around $10 and that doesn't include a drink, side or anything. This happened in April and I contacted the business right after I left. The manager was not very pleasant to speak with- she offered no resolution and tried to say "that's just how it is." Essentially even though the menu promises "a mix of blended greens, romaine, etc., sometimes we have more left over than the other so some days it's more spinach than the other greens." But as you can see from the photo the salad was literally just a spinach salad with no other greens mixed in. After several minutes of back and forth they begrudgingly offered to come back and remake it but I was only in town visiting for a couple days so I didn't have time for that. The main problem though was the attitude that I received from speaking to the business. It wasn't helpful or even kind, it was irritated.

My colleague ordered a small spinach salad and Sundried tomato pesto penne. Servings were generous and we ended up asking our server to box up half of our entreès. Lunch for tomorrow, yay!
