It took 70 minutes to get our food, with no warning or explanation for when it would come…read more The hamburger was so over cooked and dry that it was hard to eat, coming from a butcher that is claiming such high quality of meat this was a surprise. I'm trying to think of any place at any time where a hamburger was so bad, but can't come up with anything. It wasn't burnt, it just tasted like it was cooked from frozen and sat on the grill for the entire 70 minutes we waited and slowly heated the life out of the meat. It was almost like they wanted it to be horrible. I've never been to a place that charged for fried onions on the burger. French fries were clearly from frozen and the freezer burn taste was strong. And due to the wait, arrived cold. We did have wings that were pretty good, sauces were nicely done. As far as ambiance, there were tons of televisions but all were showing the game show network, really? The NBA playoffs were on and we're showing Family Feud on every single TV, weird. This was the only food place in town that was open, in the future we'll go to another town. And I will not be visiting the butcher either, if you can't cook a burger I have doubts you'd know how to butcher the meat. I'm surprised the people who live in Kimball would ever go to this place.

2026 Dive Bar 3 of 40…read more Just off Main Street, you will find this corner bar not far from the river. Upon entering, you will notice a small bar with an adequately stocked bar, featuring about 8 taps and a number of canned and bottled beers for your liking. There are plenty of high-top tables and booths to accommodate a decent crowd. MaGillycuddy's Bar is one of those places that instantly makes you want to settle in and stay awhile. The atmosphere strikes that perfect balance between cozy and relaxed, thanks in no small part to the awesome tin ceiling-- it kind of gives this place a vintage charm you don't see often. The crowd is just what one would expect, just regular folks enjoying a libation and watching the Wild game. And they have pulltabs!! We settled in on a high-top table and ordered beers and our lunch. The Nashville Hot Shrimp is a must-try. just the right amount of heat, and packed with flavor. The Guinness cheeseburger is an open-faced burger topped with fries, Guinness cheese sauce, and, of course, bacon. That was a bit messy, and was enjoyable, but there are some other items I will want to try before going back to that entree. Between the solid food offerings, the friendly vibe, and the cool interior, MaGillycuddy's has all the makings of a local favorite. If you're anywhere near Aonka, do yourself a favor and stop in--you won't regret it.

My boyfriend and I were originally trying to go to a different business in the area for lunch, but…read morethey were closed and we saw this place had good ratings! I'm really glad we stopped in! There is a parking ramp and street parking in the area. Both are free. They were decorating for Halloween and it gave us such a fun vibe! We were immediately welcomed in and the service was phenomenal the entire time we were there! I would go back on service alone! The upstairs area isn't overly large but they do have tables, booths and a bar to sit at. There was a sign that said "basement closed" so I assume there was more down there. There are TV's, so this would be a cool spot to grab a beer and watch the game for sure! There is also a small outdoor seating area and is next to a fountain. The food: The deep fried pickle spears were good! The batter is light and crispy! However, because these are spears, they took a long time to cool to properly eat. It comes with jalapeño ranch, which has a slight kick but nothing crazy. I recommend getting the regular ranch too! My boyfriend got the Reuben and noted it was "solid." I got the deep fried buffalo chicken sandwich with sweet potato fries! Both were excellent! The chicken was seasoned well before battered and the sweet potato fries had a sweet/lime/seasoning that was unique and tasty! This is definitely worth checking out!

I don't even think they are worthy of a 1 star rating this is by far the worst customer service…read moreI've ever received and the food was mediocre at best . My 9 year old niece had ants in her glass of root beer she was so upset that she didn't want to eat or drink anything else! the rest of us all looked at our beverages to ch for ants the waitress that we had to bother to check on us shrugged it off and proceeded to get another glass of root beer , she brought it over and was not overly concerned with the ant situation handed her the glass and walked away, this glass also had ants we all had lost our appetite by this time and a couple of us asked for takeout containers. the rest said the meal was not worth taking home, we were not offered any apology or compensation on the bill. I spoke up and said this was not a really good dining experience , and to this our waitress said well there's nothing I can do about ants Really ??? i said this service and the meal left a lot to be desired in which she replied nice to meet you too and strutted away . I had another bad experience at this establishment about a year ago and never thought I would go back and I did and total mistake . Maybe just maybe you should try cleaning your kitchen . i worked in food service management for over 32 years and we never served foods with fricking ants! come on people really . I think the owner and the employees would much rather drink than take care of their customers. Do not waste your time or money going to this place drive the extra distance to go to Mill Creek

I have been to Madigans on several occasions. Ordering bar type food is generally a safe bet but…read moretonight I ordered a regular meal. The meal came with a side salad which was anything but appealing. The salad was pre-made and had been sitting for a long time. I asked a waitress if she could bring me a fresh salad and she barked out the soup that they had. If I had wanted soup, I would have ordered soup. I again asked if she could bring me a fresh salad and was told that the salad I had was the best she could do. Ordering a pizza or a burger is probably fine but don't Oder a salad unless you want soup.
