I recently went to this spa with my girlfriend for a massage and bodyscrub. It was my birthday so she wanted me to experience what she had when she went with a work colleague of hers. I was not sure what to expect since I had never been to a spa before. I was pleasantly surprised. Irina the owner of the spa was very welcoming, friendly and since we had a couples massage we had 2 therapists. Both were professional and adjusted the massage according to our comfort levels. I found the massage to be soothing. The bodyscrub at first was strange since I had never had my skin scrubbed since being a kid. I would definitely recommend getting one. Wow! I read all those revievs and i'm little confused.It's the same spa that i've been to a week ago?! My and my boyfriend got a gift certificate to this place from our close friend,who wanted recommended it to us.Since we open the door,all attention was on us.Everybody in this place including Owner was extremely friendy,smiling and asking "How we feel",making sure that we have everything we need. At first we had a Hot Stone massage in same room ,from two women(i don't remember names)but it was VERY relaxing.Following; Scrub-delightful, Facial- extremely refreshing, Sauna and in the end flavor Tea and treats in cozy 'antique' room.The biggest plus of this place is damn resonable prices!!! It was my first visit to this spa. Actually I don't normally go to spa's, but my girlfriend dragged me in for a couples massage she purchased as a present for me. I was very skeptical at first, but as we walked in to this spa, I was made feel comfortable. We were offered tea and wine and some chocolates. The room was clean and once our massage began I forgot all about my worries. It was such a pleasant experience. Massage was performed with hot stones. I was relaxed and my body felt like jelly. I have recently visited Madison spa with my husband and took advantage of the summer in the city package. I was amazed by the quality of work. Facial was simply unbelievable. 2 weeks after my skin still looks better then it has in years. My husband and i both enjoyed the massage, which was performed in the same room for both of us. It was our anniversary present to each other and we truly had a very romantic day in this spa. we were offered wine and chocolate after service was completed. I received the oxygen facial and boy was Irinia good. She's the owner and she has been int he business FOREVER. I honestly would not trust anyone else with my face but her. Her technology is up to date and the place is relaxing for a new york city spa. Usually, its limited in space, but her place has a room for everyone to hang out in and enjoy themselves. I received the chocolate wrap and spent the whole day smelling like chocolate! It was pretty nice. The wrap included salt from the dead sea that removes dead skin cells and chocolate which acted as a moisturizer. The environment was pretty cozy with the antique Italian furniture. In the waiting room, you're offered tea, wine, and even chocolates as you are tended by the faculty. This spa is certainly a treat! read more

I was extremely satisfied with this hole experience. very friendly and professional staff the prices are reasonable and the services were excellent, I went there 2 week ago with my girlfriend and we took the couples package.
