Joey has installed 2 units for me at separate homes and has done several other repairs on my units…read more Everything has been great until the 2nd unit installed. Joey recommended replacing my 3 ton unit with a 5 ton unit due to the size of the space needing to be covered (~2,800 sq. ft). Based on recommendations and wonderful past service, we didn't question this decision by getting a second opinion. The unit was installed in April 2025. In July 2025, the unit froze up, and Joey didn't respond to my call or text request for help, but the issue quickly subsided. In August 2025, the unit completely froze, and I attempted to call, text, and leave voicemails for 7 days with no response. I ultimately resorted to getting another company to come out and learned that a 5 ton unit never should have been installed in place of a 3 ton unit without updating the duct work. I now have a unit that will never be able to keep up with the air flow, indicating a clear lack of competence in his profession, but wonderful expertise in upselling his customers. Joey has now not responded to my calls, texts, or Facebook messages for 3 weeks, but has been posting on his personal and business Facebook page about all the customers he's helped. I've also learned the warranty paperwork to register the new unit was never filed, as was promised. Having an 11 month old baby at home whose bedroom is upstairs and most impacted by not having AC in the middle of summer is never fun. Not getting a response from a family-run business that prides itself on customer service after spending over $20,000 with that business is beyond unacceptable. Incompetence and lack of customer service isn't what I would be seeking in my time of need for HVAC issues.

With the eyes that have been on Cleveland Park of late, I am surprised to be the first review for this neighborhood destination. 'Discovering' what the park had to offer was a joy; it's a perfect spot for nearby locals. One thing I enjoyed about the park is that it was utilized. People who have been in the neighborhood for a while were throughout the community center, working the front desk, playing basketball and ping pong, playing with their kids on the playground... I hope the neighborhood can hold on to the character and community it enjoyed before the boom... because the park is a great neighborhood resource. Nestled squarely within the Cleveland Park neighborhood (and a nice smattering of original homes and the new abominations developers are hellbent on popping up all over the city), the actual park is a few city blocks of greenery, mature trees, 2 baseball diamonds, a soccer field, community center, swimming pool (!), indoor & outdoor basketball courts, meeting rooms, foosball, and a pavilion for lunching. With a generous parking lot, I was impressed with how well maintained the park is and how deceptively large it is. In roaming all around it, I was surprised to find more hidden gems. There's a walking trail that abuts a tennis court that could use some TLC. It also overlooks train tracks (the vegetation hides them for the most most). But this is, truly, a neighborhood park. It's extremely well-planned and offers resources for residents to enjoy as a community. Some of the parks/green spaces we explore are more of the 'open field' sort -- and that's fine. There's a lot of beauty in wide open spaces. But to come across a park that had a specific plan, a conception borne of need and execution that delivers -- and on the east side -- well, it's a joy to encounter. Cleveland Park (the park) is a joy. Explore your metro and discover it for yourself.

The history of the property isn't very well documented, but in my research, I did find a lot of criminal activity here in the 1970s and 1980s. With East Nashville being gentrified over the last ten years, it will be interesting to see what changes happen to this park in the next few years, and how much money gets pumped into it. I did enjoy the trail along the perimeter, and the layout is very typical of Ben West-era parks.

The delivery team of two men was also kind and professional however the glass maker was probably one of the rudest individuals I have ever encountered. I called All Star Glass to see what their typical wait time for replacing a piece of glass was and they notified me 24-48 hours. After reading the Google reviews it seemed that this was the norm for them. This was important to me because I dropped the glass off on a Monday and needed it by the latest Thursday because I had a flight out of Nashville at the end of the week. I also didn't want to not have a front window for my living room for the entire week especially when I was not there. No worries however because I was told it would be done Tuesday. After receiving no update on my glass, I called them back and was told it would be done the next day (Wednesday). After again receiving no update on Wednesday, I called again and was told it would be done Thursday. By the time Thursday rolled around I called back and was told it would be done Friday even though I made it clear early in the week that I had a flight to catch. When I called Thursday, the woman at the front desk handed the phone over to the glass maker who immediately started yelling and getting very angry, telling me that NO ONE told me the glass would be done in 24-48 hours (just read the other comments. This seems to be the norm) and that HE told me it would be done Friday (I would have never agreed to this in the first place considering I had a flight and wouldn't be able to get the glass on Friday). The glass maker continuously called me a liar, yelling at me, threatening to hang up and not make the glass, saying that no one told me 24-48 hours despite the fact that I was told MULTIPLE times that this is how long the order would take. I tried being cordial as I shared my frustrations of needing to now change my flight but the glass maker didn't care, continuing to throw personal jabs and calling me a liar, referring me to the worst customer he has ever dealt with. Every time I tried calming him down (because I really did need the glass) he continued throwing personal shots at me. Very unprofessional. $355 for glass and $1500 later for having to change flights at the last second, the glass is installed. I would strongly recommend that the owner of All Star Glass gets a new glass maker as the current one is not well.
