Never going to or spending money at Madness again. The first time I heard about Madness I thought hey, pretty cool sounding place. So I went up there one day, and thought hey pretty cool place, they also have a big inventory, if I ever need cards now Ill come here. I live about an hour away from Madness, I wanted to check if they had some cards I needed. Specifically about 16 cards. They have no way to look these up online, or I would. I understand sitting there on the phone and waiting to see if they had certain cards takes away from time they could be doing something else. So I asked if I could give them a list and they could call me back. In the rudest way possible the person I was talking to responded with "We have other things we could be doing" I understand that, and it wasn't so much as that but the way he said it as well. So you have other things besides helping a customer, potentially about to drop a few hundred dollars on magic singles? Forgive me, Ill just take my business elsewhere and let all my friends know how bad the customer service is here. I know just losing my business isn't going to hurt them, they have tons of other people buying from them, and tons of other products people want. And thats why they probably stopped caring about actual customer service at some point, and started treating customers like shit. They even have a specific card guy, thats what he does, he does cards. Won't give you a price over the phone!!! Why not? Well I just found out why because everything is overpriced and many things are OVER MSRP for the games and merchandise. What a shady way to do business. I shouldn't have wasted my time driving there. Plus there was a large guy with piercings who was a complete ass when I came into the store and then keep watch over me without saying anything in a very disturbing way. What a creep! Please do yourself a favor and go anywhere else. Unless you like guys ogling your butt and breast the entire time you are in the store and and enjoy being treated like crap at the same time. Do not give these creeps your money. Looking at the other reviews it is clear that the large guy I dealt with is mean and rude to many people over a large period of time yet they haven't fired him. read more

Comic book nerds get a bad wrap a lot of times but I have to say this: Every time I have walked in the staff here is the most kind, welcoming and accepting group of people. They want to share this world with you and introduce you into a community that enjoys gaming. They have an enormous selection of board games which someone in the store has played and can help guide you into making your game night a success. They have a large selection of anime books, characters and action figures. They host RPG events. The store is clean and the staff is always walking around and engaging with the customers. The thing that makes me come back again and again is the atmosphere they have created. If you leave here without a smile it's because you are a miserable human. read more

If you happen to be any kind of geek or nerd, this is the place for you! Not only do they have comic books and board games but they also have T shirts, plushies, and other great merchandise for popular Tv shows and movies such as Doctor Who and Star Wars. If you're looking to play some Friday Night Magic, this is the place to be. There are so many great people here to play MtG. You won't feel left out even if it's your first time. The guys behind the MtG counter are always very nice. They've gone on long searches to help me find the cards I'm looking for. The staff is more than helpful. This is the perfect spot for those times where you don't want the hustle and bustle of a shopping mall, but still want to walk around and look at some cool stuff. The best time to visit Madness is the weekend nights (Fri and Sat) where they have Magic tournaments and other groups playing random games. You will always be able to find an empty table to enjoy board games with friends. Or, you can walk around and watch the other groups play games. Some people are so nice that they'll invite you to join in on their games and take the time to teach you.I love that this place exists because it's such a friendly place! I've been going to this place for 3 years to play magic and hang out with people it has been very fun i haven't had any complaints until recently this black gentlemen has been very rude not just to me but to all my friends as well and one night on Friday night magic apparently the 'owner' of the place kicked us all out for asking a question but we weren't allowed to ask a question because we weren't doing the Friday night magic tournaments and threatened to call the cops on us when we asked why we're being kicked out. This place needs some new management and a couple new employee's if you ask me. read more

WOW! This store looks like a walmart super store for gaming nerds! IT HAS EVERYTHING! I spend hours in this store just to see and get what I wanted. They have a large collection of singles in cards and comics. I went to their FNM and was amazed of how many gamers are out there. If you're a beginner then, FNM might not be for you, for they are very competitive. They will crush you! Good customer service, and clean store. Will return to get better in Magic! read more

There is none better! Madness Games and Comics are the epitomy of a true comic book and games store. Great selection, employees that really 'get it', and the places is always packed. It's a who's who in DFW amongn gamers. Oh and Friday night magic is truly awesome! You won;t regret trying out this store, come join the fun. read more

This store has a pretty great selection and turn out for tournaments. HOWEVER, the owner is a huge ASSHOLE. He is uncaringly rude and abrasive to customers and pays way low prices for the cards you sell. He does not accept trade-ins, only pays cash, insists you name your own prices, then refuses to counteroffer. read more

Been a frequent customer for the past 2 years and never have I once had bad customer service. They have every kind of card/board game, action figure, collectible, comic or etc you could want. Best store of its kind I've seen in the metroplex. read more

Great place for D&D, collectors, and comics. They have a wide selection of new products and have an extremely friendly/helpful staff!

If you're into games, comics or graphic novels this is your place. Crazy huge selection and a very helpful knowledgeable staff.

One of the best game stores I've been able to find around here. They have lots and lots of stuff!!!

Bathrooms are clean and they have great reading material. By far my favorite place to poop, 10/10.
