Grab and Go Eats - London Fog Coconut Chia Pudding; Charred Shishito Peppers w/ Chipotle Sauce, and Tofu Bahn Mi Sandwich.

Discovered through a Too Good To Go pick up near closing time. Employees were busy taking care of things but had time to greet me on the way in and TGTG bags were already prepared and ready to take away. Decided to get two bags since it's all plant based foods and can handle an extra day in the fridge- and that turned out to be an excellent idea! I was able to share the end of the day leftovers with two friends who also gave rave reviews after trying the Tofu Bahn Mi, Shishito Pepper Side w/ Chipotle Sauce, London Fog Chia Coconut Pudding, and Hummus Tomato Sandwich. The location was a little out of my way, but definitely worth visiting for the quality and variety of vegan options as well as an environment that looked lovely enough to stay and chat with a friend or relax for a longer lunch if I wasn't in a grab and go state of mind.

Damn... Best avocado toast i've had in any borough and it's here in Mott Haven. Lots of vegan and gluten free options, they also use Kobrick Coffee Roasters for their espresso. What else can i say? You guys are amazingg!

FOOD: the menu is a curated selection of dishes from around the world. Everything we tried was delicious. And everything is vegan! I especially enjoyed the beet curry and bonjee, both of which had a coconut curry base and were fresh, light, and wholesome. The Sri Lankan katarica (eggplant) was saucy and satisfying. The mushroom mole was not my favorite, but others at the table said it was theirs. DRINKS: infused water is self service and delightful, and the espresso drinks are top tier! One of the best iced lattes I've had recently. PLANTS: the ambiance of the shop is LOVELY, drenched in light and filled with beautiful plants that you can take home. We left with 3! I don't find myself in the Bronx that often, but I will now to return to Mae Mae

I've been walking by for a few months, not knowing they were actually opened (new apartments are going up all around the area) but I went in one day after an intense gym class and when I say the location is beautiful ! If you love plants, great food and a really great staff, you definitely need to come and visit. So far I've had 1/2 the menu and everything has been amazing. All planted based, and all delicious.

Cutest little spot ever! I love that you can literally buy like every plant in there. They have a wide variety of plants and are very knowledgeable of how to care for them. There is a great amount of light that enters the space so if you don't feel like being cramped at home while working you can definitely do so here. Also the Not egg wrap is awesome, small but super tasty! AND THEY HAVE DRINKS

Stumbled upon this coffee shop & I will absolutely be back. A concept shop mixing plants + coffee. What could be better!? Admittedly, I've not been the best with keeping plants alive but the fact that this spot is in my neighborhood is just too good to be true. Plus, the food is deelish! I had the vegan breakfast wrap and it was deelish. Last & absolutely not least, the customer service is *chef's kiss*. Both Elijah and Ms. Colleen truly made my day with their kindness. I'll be back!

Food was incredible not just your run of the mill vegan food. You can feel the plant based vibe from the layout. Prices are great, can't wait to go back and try the rest of the menu. Hidden gem .

I realized the other day I was long overdue to acknowledge my adoration for one of the five…read moreboroughs' best restaurants - FIELDTRIP (original and premiere location in Harlem) - so a friend and I had lunch here on 4/25/26. Read on if you desire genuine knowledge and only dine out with intention. First, and most importantly, shouts to Myles and the team working this day. The salmon in my Jerk Salmon Bowl and my friend's Atlantic Salmon Bowl was flaky, tender, juicy, and perfect. The rices (white with Jerk, black forbidden with Atlantic) confirmed and celebrated what Chef JJ Johnson wrote in his must-have book The History of Rice. This is to say there is no rice like FIELDTRIP rice: soft, sturdy, sweet, savory, herby, attaches to sauce and protein and vegetables when you want it to, remains on its own when you simply want to enjoy it by itself. The plantains and greens that accompany are ridonkulous icing on the salmon sundae. If you aren't a fan of Brussels sprouts, you likely have good reasons. And, you owe it to yourself to order Crispy Brussels. Besides being cooked so they are toothsome, textured, and still sweet, they're quartered or sixthed, which makes them easier to enjoy and perfect carriers for the crispy bits that top them. I love oxtail. To enjoy this rarely served beef element in a perfectly wrapped and fried egg roll added to my adoration. After bite one, I literally unwrapped my half to see how the shredded meat was coexisting. No saucing was necessary, though the Avocado Cilantro and New Jack Sticky BBQ (both of which were enjoyed by me via spoon) would have enhanced the roll most righteously. Lastly, when you dine in or take away from FIELDTRIP, you need Nana's Bread. It is what you might enjoy if a freshly made flour tortilla, naan, pita, and focaccia met, joined, and were put through a presser. I would dip and dredge Nana's Bread in everything. Your next meal needs to come from FIELDTRIP. Period.

The host was attentive, and we were seated right away--always a good start. I was a little surprised when the server handed us the menus and we opened the front flap to discover... tablets. That said, I actually appreciated the photos of each menu item--it made ordering easier and faster. Now, the food. Hands down, this was the best Mediterranean food I've had in the U.S. We ordered the chicken shawarma tacos and a side of falafel. The falafel was soft on the inside (not dry at all) and crispy on the outside, sitting in a bed of the smoothest tahini cream I've ever tasted--and I don't even like tahini. The chicken was incredibly flavorful, and every bite actually had chicken. No skimping on the protein here. The pita pocket was small but soft and fresh, not dry. Best part: the chicken taco came with small sides of hummus, baba ganoush, creamed tahini, and finely chopped tomatoes and cucumbers. Boom. Every single element was delicious. One downside: there's only one restroom, it's small, and while it's tastefully decorated, it could have used a bit more attention. Would I go back? 100% yes. I honestly wish I could teleport this place back home with me so I could become a regular.

Five flavor plate - a nice amuse-bouche that went through a series of flavors: Hawthorne jelly for sour, yams for sweet - butter melon jelly for bitter, mushroom.and black pepper for spicy, and radish cracker for salty. The bitter melon was my favorite and definitely wasn't that better - it had pleasant spices almost like a chutney. Next was mushrooms in a light cucumber sauce, followed by a savory and thick 18 vegetable soup. This was a nice back to back contrast of light and simple with rich and hearty. The next three courses were aiming to imitate meat a little more. The first was a grilled mushroom over fragrant green millet. Then, sweet and sour tofu skin, and another grilled mushroom covered in a curry sauce. Of these, the tofu skin was my favorite as the bright course in between the savory ones. Next was rice in a savory broth with peach jelly, and then a nutty noodle dish with a smooth and creamy sauce with a nice blend of spices. These helped round out the meal, and the noodles were especially tasty. To end was a dessert made from berries and sweet potato, almost with the texture of ice cream. Reservation is required and the meal is prepaid except for tip. The whole thing came to about $130 each after tax and tip. I found the meal to be less heavy than most other tasting menus and very creative.
