Damn... Best avocado toast i've had in any borough and it's here in Mott Haven. Lots of vegan and gluten free options, they also use Kobrick Coffee Roasters for their espresso. What else can i say? You guys are amazingg!

FOOD: the menu is a curated selection of dishes from around the world. Everything we tried was delicious. And everything is vegan! I especially enjoyed the beet curry and bonjee, both of which had a coconut curry base and were fresh, light, and wholesome. The Sri Lankan katarica (eggplant) was saucy and satisfying. The mushroom mole was not my favorite, but others at the table said it was theirs. DRINKS: infused water is self service and delightful, and the espresso drinks are top tier! One of the best iced lattes I've had recently. PLANTS: the ambiance of the shop is LOVELY, drenched in light and filled with beautiful plants that you can take home. We left with 3! I don't find myself in the Bronx that often, but I will now to return to Mae Mae

I've been walking by for a few months, not knowing they were actually opened (new apartments are going up all around the area) but I went in one day after an intense gym class and when I say the location is beautiful ! If you love plants, great food and a really great staff, you definitely need to come and visit. So far I've had 1/2 the menu and everything has been amazing. All planted based, and all delicious.

Cutest little spot ever! I love that you can literally buy like every plant in there. They have a wide variety of plants and are very knowledgeable of how to care for them. There is a great amount of light that enters the space so if you don't feel like being cramped at home while working you can definitely do so here. Also the Not egg wrap is awesome, small but super tasty! AND THEY HAVE DRINKS

Stumbled upon this coffee shop & I will absolutely be back. A concept shop mixing plants + coffee. What could be better!? Admittedly, I've not been the best with keeping plants alive but the fact that this spot is in my neighborhood is just too good to be true. Plus, the food is deelish! I had the vegan breakfast wrap and it was deelish. Last & absolutely not least, the customer service is *chef's kiss*. Both Elijah and Ms. Colleen truly made my day with their kindness. I'll be back!

Food was incredible not just your run of the mill vegan food. You can feel the plant based vibe from the layout. Prices are great, can't wait to go back and try the rest of the menu. Hidden gem .

The absolute standouts, however, were the Dominican staples made vegan. The Mofonguitos were flavorful bites wrapped in crispy plantain deliciousness, and their Sancocho was a perfect soup: hearty with tons of root vegetables and a really deep, warm flavor profile. I'm already planning repeat orders of these on my next trip, and to try their rice and beans next. Also LOVED the tamarind juice (although I'll gladly consume anything with even a suggestion of tamarind, so take that as you will) Parking was sparse but doable, and there is a nice little sitting area inside with lovely service to boot. Definite visit if you're in the area, and even if you're not! There are few things that make the haul from Queens to the Bronx worth it, and this place is officially added to that list for me.

I myself am not vegan so was hesitant about the cake but tried red velvet cupcake samples at the Englewood location and they were good-- couldn't even tell they were vegan (which works well for me because I don't eat dairy anymore). If you want a vegan cake that's delicious, this is the place to get it from. The downside is the cakes were pretty pricey with all of the options we added on like the banana choc chip flavor, candles, etc, but I'm glad I experimented and got the flavor I wanted. The ordering process was pretty straightforward- my only complaint is that the person who sent me the invoice didn't explain why there was an extra 7$ added, but I was grateful they picked up my order. Also, they were very accommodating to turn the vanilla frosting burgundy as I requested! I do wish that they added more glitter to the top though and all over the cake (like I asked for). It's not an extravagant looking cake but it got the job done and pretty decadent for a vegan cake. I added the fresh cherries. Also I picked up the cake Friday and it's Tuesday now and the cake is becoming a little dry. But I'm assuming that's expected as fresh cakes don't last long in the fridge. I also got 4 gluten free cupcakes and even though I'm not a fan of the consistency (it was chewy almost like corn tasting), my friend that was GF appreciated them!

Though not huge, their menu is plant based with an assortment of brunch/lunch items like bowls, salads and interesting sushi, as well as smoothies and other drinks. If you're open to vegan food and uncommon items in a western diet, you'll enjoy it. The pad thai slaw and sushirito were delicious and well made and everything on the menu was inviting. The teas were lovely and I really enjoyed being able to select a blend of herbs for my tea mug. There was some herbal water available, and a selection of desserts on the counter and in the fridge - chocolatey delights like "snickers" bars. We found a corner next to the stage with two armchairs and a coffee table which was the coziest corner to sit and chat. Though it was Friday afternoon at lunch time and there were several other small groups, it never felt crowded and we were able to stay for a few hours enjoying our tea and meal. Staff were very friendly and accommodating, and non-intrusive. You order at the counter and then sit down, and we were not disturbed at all besides our meal being brought to us when it was ready. Parking is limited but at least they have a lot. It's a short walk into the main part of the town. They also occasionally host events. Looking forward to returning!

They didn't have the salads and burritos from the previous menu but the owner told me that the menu items will eventually return. Will definitely come back!

The beef looking plate was just as good in its own way. The chicken drumsticks are A FAVORITE!! Wow those are so delicious and crispy. The tea is always a delight to drink with the meals.
