It was falling apart a bit as I ate it but sometimes the best food is the messiest food Overall, each thing ordered and tried was a 10/10! I was especially excited to see they had lengua as I've only found a couple of other places so far that offer it and this has probably been my favorite of what I've tried in this area. Cooked Asian style, there is such a large variety of veggies that I can't even tell what exactly is in it. They are cooked to that perfect point of having a slight crunch without being overly raw. I was greeted with a resplendent mix of warm and savory flavors that was hard to stop eating. Their chai was a bit sweet and had an interesting spice blend. Availability is very limited, with both a small menu and some options running out towards the end of the day, bearing in mind that they close early. As a full restaurant, it wouldn't measure up. Maybe they'll get there some day. As it is, I would suggest coming early. There are some good restaurants in Abingdon, but you won't find food like this anywhere else.

Our first visit we tried the Daal Me Up with pickled collards. It was so delicious, that we had to make another drive in for more a couple of days later. We ordered more food than we could eat because living out-of-state, we knew it would be our last chance for a long while. Everything we ordered (another Daal Me Up, Saag with Grits, and Curry Me Down South) was AMAZING! The idea to marry Indian and Southern cuisines is genius and works so well. Everyone was super friendly and helpful. Not only is this place top-notch for the area, it is excellent for any area! I hope to be able to recreate some of their wonderful dishes at home until we are in Southwest Virginia again!
