This place hit all the marks.. Beautiful building, beautiful scenery and amazing drinks.. The employees were all very friendly, and you could tell they loved working there.. We visited from Florida, and had some time to kill, so we went it to see what it was all about.. So glad we did!!

They are celebrating one year, and it looks like everything has been a success. It's packed tonight and everyone is having a great time. The food and beer are excellent, and so is the service. The brisket was particularly great, and so were the cheese curds. The outside seating is very nice.

This place is absolutely gorgeous exterior and interior. I was in town for work and they had a food truck event. After asking some people to see if you could take your food upstairs or order inside (dogs allowed). I would recommend putting some signs out so visitors know. This is where it took a drastic turn. The two hosts were phenomenal clearing and seating people. The servers however are not on the same level. After sitting for about 10 minutes we stopped one person and we were informed that we were not in her section. 15 minutes later our server appeared and we got a beer each. We were about to leave we had already agreed. She promptly disappeared again after bringing our drinks. One of the hosts had to find her for us to cash out. The wings looked amazing. Definitely bring your patience and check out this amazing spot.

A great place to visit to try their award winning liquor, as well as cocktails and delicious food. There's plenty of parking. There are two levels and there's an elevator. On the lower level if the distilling operation, tasting room, merchandise, and an outdoor bar area. Upstairs is an indoor bar with dining room, as well as an outdoor patio and dining area. We did the tasting which you have to sign up using a QR code. It's $5 per person plus a $1.30 service fee. They do give you a $6 off coupon at the end that you can use in the shop which was a nice added bonus. Highly recommend the tasting. It's not just whiskey, but also gin, rum, vodka, and cream liquors. You will be surprised at some of the flavors. There are tons of options for merchandise as well. The shirts are super affordable and well made. Listen carefully, there are chocolate whiskey balls in the fridge area. Get these! Get one for every person you know. They are tasty. They are also available upstairs in the restaurant area. Upstairs we had food and drinks. The Purple Jesus was delicious. All of the concoctions were tasty. Then, we ordered lots of food. We had pulled pork, mini corn dogs, burnt pork belly bites, brisket and tacos. Absolutely amazing. The brisket melts in your mouth. We will be dreaming about the pork belly bites. Literally the best I have ever had. Will be dreaming of these. They do bring two types of BBQ sauce to the table as well. Everyone was great that worked here. Very friendly and very knowledgeable of their items available. Shout out to Sam in the tasting room! He was great. This place is a vibe! Don't miss out. We left with bags full of fun things, new bottles for the liquor cabinet, full bellies, and lots of smiles.

Came with friends we met at Squabble State. Tonight I'm enjoying a Pils and hubby got the Seven 16 (West Coast). Sitting on the second floor patio and enjoying the view of the mountains.

We love touring local distillers. They have their own take on various alcohol and it is fun to compare. This distillery is really a top notch presentation of their goods. Located in a scenic location above Bristol Tennessee, the outdoor patio view while sipping is perfect. The distillery inside is very well done, with the wood and industrial look. We did the sampling which included 12 tastes from bourbons, vodka, gin and flavored variations. The different distillation were well explained and any questions answered. We then went to the upstairs bar for food and taste some of the many beer offerings. The food was very good and there was a beer for every taste. If you come to the Bristol area, make sure to stop on in!

We did the distillery tour and tasting. We'll worth it. It was really good. Then we went upstairs to try out their food. I had pulled pork sandwich with slaw. It was really tasty. The dirty sherry canned vodka was soo good. Would definitely recommend this place.

One of the most gorgeous distilleries. Sitting outside is so beautiful. The purple cocktail is not only beautiful, but delicious.

So this is similar to the Jonesville location as they have a tasting and shop area (downstairs) and they have a area to order a drink and get food from a food truck (upstairs). If you get a table a server will come around to get your drink order. If you want food your menu has a number on the front and you scan the QR code to place your order; the food truck will bring your food to your table. It was Day 1 when they opened, and it was filled with people. People were taking chairs from other tables to expand their seating; when we arrived seating wasn't available at the table we found but we enjoyed a beer and took off.

Nice to be after I cut into the fish plastic knives that have no strength through them whatsoever.

My wife and I stopped in for lunch. The special on a Friday was fish and chips. Specials are supposed to be a little cheaper anyways it was $15 apiece. Drenched and fried oil in fact you could probably change your car oil and get less out of it and you would use the same kind of utensils that you found when you were in grade school Little packet of salt little packet of pepper and a knife that bent when I try to cut the fish. The whole meal with tip and all was $43 for lunch. I wouldn't suggest anybody go there for lunch it was the worst I've ever had and I won't be returning again. They didn't have iced tea. They were just pushing Coke products and alcohol.

What a stunning distillery this is. Very classy yet laid back! We came to Bristol for race and figured we'd try something new.. very glad we did! You walk in and go around stairs and it opens up into gift shop/ tasting area. This spot we were told opened just after Thanksgiving 2024. The staff here were so warm and inviting and helpful. We stopped to do free liquor tasting and had great conversation/ history of distillery. They had bourbon, whiskey, gin, rum, creams to try. Flavors were wonderful and some unexpected.. our bartender gave us ideas what to mix with different liquor but also you could honestly just pour over ice and enjoy! After our tasting we wanted to go upstairs try beers and done food but I wanted to go see views of mountain ranges off back patio.. we walked out and to right was their cooking area for restaurant which was smokers and pizza ovens.. Aiden saw us walk out and invited us over to see how things are cooked.. huge smokers smelled so good! They smoke wings briskets pork butts just lots of stuff.. made me hungry! Aiden was friendly, informative and meeting him was a pleasure! He also told us about the other locations and events going on this weekend! Soooo upstairs we went into restaurant! Stunning! We were seated wherever we wanted and were greeted immediately by our waitress. She was patient being it was our first trip in and had no idea where to start. I tried few beers but just didn't feel it so I got mixed drink..she was very helpful giving us idea choices .. hubby got 3 kinds smoked wings I got burnt end tacos! My god!!!!!!! The wings had a slight smoky crunch but delicious flavors ! The burnt ends I could have snacked on all day without tacos lol.. they are doing the dang thing here they really are! We had a great experience and highly recommend this place!

Title: First (and last) visit to Cascade Draft House - rude bartender ruined it…read moreWe walked into Cascade Draft House on a sunny Friday early evening--first time, just my husband and me, excited to try local beer. Another customer handed us a menu, but it took forever for the bartender to come over. When he did, we said it was our first visit and asked for help. He suggested a couple options, poured two samples for my husband. He walked off to help another ( no biggie) I didn't care for his sample choices. I took a minute to decide, I picked mine and when the bartender brought my samples, I thanked him, he snapped, "You need to hurry up and pick one." We were floored. My husband asked if me he really said that. When he came back we ordered two of the same beer. My husband approached him calmly about his rude comment. The guy shot back, "You've had like six samples already," (4) then added, "The more samples, the more dishes I have to wash." Like we're the problem for ordering in a brewery. He laughed and joked with regulars outside--chatting, pouring beers--but treated us like we were wasting his time. We he brought our beers my husband approached him again and he said " I'm not trying to be a dick". My husband said "oh it must be busy", the bartender replied yes it's busy and I can't do orders and run the cards all at once. This is a no brainer job, as I've done it before, it doesn't get easier unless you're paid to sleep. Place wasn't even busy: eight at the bar, a party of five out back, three tables came in after we ordered. The atmosphere was relaxed, smiling and joking. Not us. We ordered a total of three beers (the dishes!) I watched this guy waste more beer by pouring it, not paying attention to what he was doing. The four samples we had didn't even create 1/4 of a cup. A woman came over to cash us out she was warm, friendly. While we were there she kept glancing over like she knew something was off, she might've heard his rude comments. The beer was very good out of Kingsport Tn, but we won't go back. The Pinnacle area has Kickback Jacks and Monroe's that also have great beer specials. Not to mention the other places downtown that serve drinks. That bartender's lucky we stayed--only because we didn't want to cut our day short, my son was with us and was enjoying some time walking around downtown area. Zero tip, I feel bad if they have to split tips at the end of the night. One bartenders rude, uncalled for, unacceptable behavior ruined it for others. I'm in Bristol once a week, have my favorite coffee shop, shopping area, a place to go for a cold one is now still in the works. If you're new, skip this place. The beer might be good, but the attitude's poison.

State line bar and grill is just a few doors down. This grill, it appears, to be in a converted warehouse space. It is likely the whole block was a warehouse which was sectioned into separate commercial properties. It has 20' ceilings with tin ceiling tiles and nice industrial wood flooring. They have live music and karaoke nights. They have a nice selection of food. Seafood, burgers, quesadillas, wings, salads, wraps ... I tried their mushroom Swiss burger which was huge, juicy and delicious. I needed to cut it in half to figure a way to attack it and a lot of napkins. A fun fact: it is the State line grill because it is in Bristol TN but you cross the street and you are in Bristol VA! If you are in the area, I highly recommend stopping in to try it out.

Sidewalks are partly covered so weather is not an issue, but crowds would make the trip more difficult. There are also several street buskers which can draw crowds, so just be aware and not in a hurry. You enter on the corner into the main seating area which is sort of separated by a hostess stand and the back of a booth. We were greeted right away and told to sit wherever we wanted. Seating is a mix of booths and tables and we selected a booth next to the window. Our server came right away and took our drink orders. There is also a board next to the hostess stand with listed specials. Looking over the menu, these were just regular menu items at regular prices. Our server returned and took our food order. The food took about 20 minutes to arrive, which was a little longer than expected. The bbq pork sandwich was dry and did not have a lot of flavor. The bun was fine but the dry meat made it harder to chew and took a lot of water to finish. In addition, the homemade chips were very crispy and salty. This plate left me parched even after drinking three glasses of water. The burger, however, was good. The meat was fairly juicy and toppings were fresh. The same homemade chips accompanied the burger and were also crispy and salty. The bathroom was in poor condition and appeared not to have been cleaned in some time. This was brought to our server's attention, who did not seem too concerned. Maybe this is a good place if you are seeking out music and alcohol, but there are many other options if all you want is lunch.

The teriyaki bowl was pretty good though with various flavors of the sauces and food components. Unfortunately, as i left I used the men's room and while it was clean neither of the automatic soap squirt dispensers could be coaxed into operating with any amount of prestidigitation. A particularly disturbing experience as I had followed a kitchen crew member into the men's room who had apparently gone to to take a dump. So I guess the best he will be able to do is to maybe rinse his hands prior to returning to the kitchen??? DOUBLE YUCK. I did let the bar manager know on the way out and she did leave to go look into the soap issue. It appears to be a light, fun, and trendy place reminiscent of the Fridays restaurants but with an updated and current atmosphere inside. Probably a good place to bring a group gathering.
