I am so happy I picked Mag & May! The building is modern, gorgeous and well outfitted. Great gym, pool, courtyard ect... We actually have dry-cleaning lockers which I thought was a little bougie but I ended up loving ;) Parking has never been an issue which can be hard to acheieve on Magnolia. We have a great apartment community and it's an excellent choice for anyone in medicine because of proximity to the Fort Worth med district. Management is always more of a consideration for me though and I can't say enough good things. Helped me with an out of country co-signer, accepted my pets, always responsive and so incredibly nice. Someone actually intercepted a stethoscope I had overnighted and needed that day, signed for it, called me to tell me it was in and safe and offered to put it in my unit for me. They're involved with a lot of local business' and sponsored Arts Goggle this past week and that says a lot about prioritizing community. read more

I am writing to formally document my concerns regarding the unprofessional conduct and lack of communication I have experienced during my lease renewal process. On Thursday, June 11th, I initiated contact by leaving a voicemail requesting a callback regarding my renewal. After receiving no response, I followed up with five separate phone calls on June 12th between 2:28 PM and 5:00 PM. I finally received a return call five minutes before the office closed that evening, which I was unable to answer in time. On the morning of June 13th, I visited the office in person to discuss my concerns. I was assured by the staff member present that a new lease agreement would be generated and emailed to me immediately. As of today, June 24th, I had still not received any documentation. When I called earlier today to follow up, I was told the paperwork would be resent. Upon visiting the office later this afternoon to address the fact that I had never received an initial email, the staff member claimed that system and phone outages prevented the transmission. When I questioned the consistency of this information, another staff member, Cameron, intervened. Both individuals claimed they have no way of verifying previous outgoing correspondence, which I find highly concerning for a professional management firm. Furthermore, the response from management was dismissive and inflammatory. I was asked, "What do you want from us? An apology?" and told I must have "something going on" to be "this heated". The interaction concluded with Cameron standing up, reclaiming my paperwork, and threatening to involve law enforcement because I was requesting clarification on these discrepancies. read more

Happy Maintenance Week to the amazing team at Mag & May. The community is also clean, clutter free (even by the trash), organized and smells really good. There has not been a time in my 2 years when I asked for something to be fixed and it was done in a timely manner. We are notified when maintenance is going to be entering our home and what they will be doing. I'm always impressed when the guy is power blowing the leaves from the back door! I work in health care and know that you MUST love doing a job in order to be successful and this team loves everything that they do daily and it shows. Thank you is a small word for all that you do. Avoid, avoid, avoid. Living here is like living in a community surrounded by eggshells; lots of rules to be constantly aware of and the moment you step on one, they are unforgiving. I'm a new resident and moving is already stressful as it is. They activated my Butterfly App (phone app that allows access to parking garage gate) already prior to moving, so of course a reasonable person would think they'd be allowed to park at the garage. Not according to their rules, you're not. I was moving stuff on Day 1. Despite having garage access with my Butterfly App, my car was towed because it needed to be registered first to their online portal. Cost me $325 and I have not even lived yet here for 24 hours yet. I called the Towing company to see if I could get a discount or a courtesy waiver perhaps because I'm a new resident and has been stressed out with all the moving. The Towing company said they also tow for other apartments and its the management at those locations who are able to give courtesy waiver because towing companies work with them. Of course, I brought this up to the staff at Mag&May, but, alas, there is nothing they could do because rules are rules. I called the Towing company told them that Mag&May don't offer waivers and the guy literally said, "you better switch." And that's my plan once the lease expires, so sharing this online. It was a mistake of course to not register the vehicle prior to parking despite being given parking garage access ( seriously, why give parking garage access when we're not allowed to park?), but forgive me because the stress of moving got the best of me. Nonetheless, the biggest mistake is living in this community not realizing there's a bunch of eggshells all around with an unforgiving management. Let's just say the young man that runs the front door of this building is RUDE!!!! I felt as if me and my husband were just a burden to him asking about prices and what they had to offer. We would ask a question and he would just look at us as if we were crazy for asking anything. My husband finally decided to just leave and go somewhere that we would be wanted. read more

I waited a couple of months before writing my review to make sure I still felt the same way and I do. I love the murals and the bright colors throughout the building. Staff are always friendly and helpful. I've had to do maintenance requests and they've always come the following day to fix it. My requests were for minor issues too, like a kitchen light out and the Dwelo app not working. I haven't had any major problems at all. This complex is very pet friendly and there are lots of pets here which I love. They're adding new amenities like a dog spa, outdoor kitchen, and bike storage. I've been here since November and there's been multiple activities, like brunch, food trucks, paint night, and massages. I would have given five stars except for two issues. One is the thinness of the walls. My neighbor must have their TV on the other side of my bedroom wall and they evidently like to keep their volume at 100. There's nothing the staff can really do about that, but it is something I would change. The other thing is the parking garage. The way it is set up, a lot of the turns are blind turns. You would think this would make people drive slowly around the turns, but they just zip on through. Again, nothing the staff can do about that; it's the way the garage is structured. Overall though I really like Mag & May and I'm glad I moved here. read more

I have really enjoyed living here since 2021. Here is an honest review of the complex: General Apartments: I've lived in the studio and the 2 bedroom. The units are great and I rarely have issues with the appliances. If I have had any issues, the maintenance team is VERY quick to fix it. It is important you pick a good location around the complex, as street noise can be noisy (especially during trash pick up) or the lights in the courtyard can shine into your bedroom pretty bright. Just something to think about if you're sensitive to those things. Also, the light switches in the 2 bedroom are in weird locations so not a huge fan of that. Parking Garage: It is very small and turns are tight so you have to be careful. Other than that, people just have to be registered on the app before they park there. I have never been towed nor have my visitors been towed in the time I've lived here. Not sure why people get upset about it, the team communicates it very clearly. Pool: Pool is very small so if big families come in, it can be a bit annoying if you're looking for a chill pool day. Other than that, views are not bad from the pool. Gym: The gym is great. It has everything I need to get a good workout. Only complaint is that the pretty view of downtown from the treadmills is blocked by the monitors they have but that's a super minuscule detail. Hallways: Super clean, just have to follow rules about what you leave out to avoid a trash fine. They always smell so good though. Mail: I've never had any major issues with mail, but I don't get deliveries when the office is closed so I'm not sure if it has been an issues for others. Door Access System: This is the main reason I give four stars. We used to go by a FOB system that was extremely simple for me and I really liked it. They recently changed to Butterfly which isn't very user friendly. You have to scroll all around to find the door you need. You can move the most used ones up in the app, but it's still not as simple as the fobs. I miss the fobs. Office Team: These are some of the nicest, most helpful people. Rachel helped me when I started and I'm pretty sure she's still here. They are quick to respond and go above and beyond. One time, a neighbors dog had an accident on my door mat and they offered to pay to replace it. Genuinely a good team of people. Security: I've never had issues. They also have an on call officer that I've only had to use one time because my neighbors were partying it up late one night, but he responded quickly and the issue was resolved fast. Hope this is helpful to people looking for a place to live. I highly recommend it if you can get a good unit! read more

Mag & May is a beautiful property. The pictures truly are the real reflection of this property. The 1 star given is completely on management! It is unfortunate for RPM Living Co. to have this management reflect their company. Sheila McDowell presently resides as property manager. I completely agree with other reviews I have read since move in less than a year ago. Sheila "speaks at you, not with you". This management is completely unwilling to rectify a situation that has clearly shown to be inappropriate - Resident Car Towing. I do hope the leadership @ RPM Living are willing to rectify this situation and improve the management at this property. Their are multiple encounters with Sheila Mc Dowell that have been extremely unpleasant and unwilling to work towards resident satisfaction. read more

Be sure your visitors register their cars online at apartmentpermit.com IMMEDIATELY upon parking in the visitor designated parking on the 6th floor of the garage. Visitor cars within an hour or two of being parked, and it's over $290 to get your car back. No time to get settled in, and God forbid your exhausted guest falls asleep before taking care of the online registration. The sign at the gate on the first floor is pictured. How would anyone have enough time to read the sign while coming through the gate? There is no signage on the 6th floor regarding towing policies as evidenced by the accompanying photos. Here is the response from Mag&May Management: "I understand this is frustrating, however they were only doing what they were instructed to do. Multiple notices and emails have been sent regarding the parking policy. It's also explained in the parking addendum that was signed. We wish there was more that we could do." Right. As there was only 1 other car parked on the entire roof, let alone in visitor parking, so no residents were being inconvenienced by the single car parked in visitor parking that was towed. There is not a lack of parking for residents. Parking for residents at Mag & May is not in jeopardy at all. The car was towed less than 2 hours after it was parked. read more

I was the second tenant to sign a lease to be a part of the Mag and May property. Kendall, Haven and the whole entire staff has gone above + beyond all the time. Not only for me but for my dog. I love living here and they are easy to work with. They provide white glove service and during the parking transition they even called me to make sure I register my car. Because they wanted to make sure it did not get towed. I work long hours and travel all over Texas. What I love about this building it's creating a community that you meet people from all over like Austin, Chicago, Detroit and even London!! On top of that they brought us a well known Bronx artist to do a wall mural on our building!! How cool is that!! They give us free tenant events!!! Any person I know that is moving to Fort Worth I recommend Mag and May to them. I have to say they do an AMAZING job with the signage and email communications. read more

This place changed ownership from when I signed-up earlier this year. Unfortunately, if you're a busy individual (like working in healthcare), even though this place is close to the hospitals - DO NOT LIVE HERE. They find a way to fee you for everything, which makes being a busy healthcare worker/student difficult. I was once charged for having an empty community trash can out in the hallway, and because I worked the wrong shift, the apartment tried to charge me for it being out there while I was working. That is just one example of how petty they are. If there is a problem with rent payment, unlike other places that will correct your error, this apartment would rather hit you with one fee for the mistake, and then another one a week later for being late. In the scenario I am referencing above, they were impossible to get in contact with during the hours I was not working, and then when I wasn't working the manager went on vacation - leaving no one in the office capable of account adjustments for a week. This caused another fee. Folks, today I paid these unjust fees to simply end the madness, because I am a busy healthcare worker. Nobody has time to play phone tag and incur fees throughout the duration. It is not the customer's fault for being busy, it is Mag & Mays fault for not being available. I gave up today after the 6th call - 2 were answered by a nice woman who states all of the reasons why she cannot help you, and how her manager is conveniently always out of office. I will not be renewing even though the location is nice... 0/5 stars from me. read more

I started living in Mag & May in June after I moved to Fort Worth for a job after college. I can not say enough good things about the place! As a single girl new to the city I felt very safe and welcomed in the building. The parking garage was a huge plus for me as I travel a lot for work. I know my car is tucked in safe and won't be bothered. The amenities are wonderful, and the finishes in the apartment are beautiful! Magnolia is such a fun street to live on and the staff does a great job of communicating what is happening in the neighboorhood! And on the topic of the staff, the whole team is great! They were kind and understanding while being professional. They always sent out notices about community events, notices, changes, etc and they were always ready to answer any question. They delete their bad reviews on google (PLEASE READ BEFORE LIVING HERE) I wouldn't even know where to begin at first living here was pretty great due to the short walks for everything being so close to downtown and to have such a cute apartment and all the events they throw for you although some of the rules are ridiculous regarding if you have a dog your not allowed to have them anywhere in the complex basically inside your apartment and outside on the tiny lawns the provide which is why we never got, There's hardly any visitor parking like 4 spaces and you're only allowed to have as many cars as there are people on the lease so sorry about the kids having a car. The parking is ridiculous and so cramped !! they will send you a lease violation threat for almost everything you do... driving to "fast" (even Though iv seen THEM speed in n out here as well as many of the people who live here) while im the only one managing to have received an email until i told them they need to send them to the whole complex as a reminder because im not the only one "speeding"... they have no reflectors so it's really hard to tell when a car is coming in or out of each corner especially because its so cramped and you cant see through the cars and they will blame you for almost hitting other cars coming in or out even after telling them of the inconvenience.. Having more than 2 people over isnt allowed but i guess it's allowed with certain people who like having all their friends hang out in the garage or their apartment but i guess you have to be on their good side or secret friends with them! we showed our family (2 adults and their kids) our apartment when we first arrived and got an email about a month later for lease violation threat for "having to many people over" All of their stuff breaks, constantly, the gates intercoms, & key, on the doors outside hardly work, the door handle on the garage door to let us in our apartment floor won't open anymore, the dwelo stuff that they advertise for you to have on your phone so you can have hands free lighting and air doesn't ever work. I've had to have so many repair calls and maintenance calls more than I have ever had to have in any of the apartments I lived in and every time you try to talk to them about it all they do is make up an excuse... I have all of the work repair papers saved and pictures of everything the floor tiles coming off the floor in the bathroom and the living room The black mold on top of our shower supposedly because of someone else's AC, the lights and light switches spark when you turn them on and off, The lightbulb in our living room exploded one day, we've tried to get out of our lease through them but they said we didn't have enough reason to leave but when we spoke to our lawyer and a judge they said that it was more than enough to build a case against them we just don't have the time and money to do that right now AND THE LOCK ON OUR DOOR WONT LOCK FROM THE OUTSIDE WITHOUT THE KEY AND YOU CAN HEAR EVERYTHING! A parking situation that is in place to ensure PAYING RESIDENTS, not guests, have their available spots to park.
