Seating area... there are three other food trucks here as well

We ordered spicy tamales and they're spicy!!! Too spicy for children but perfect for us! They are pretty salty, so make sure to get a water bottle, too. The woman working was very sweet. The only disappointing thing was that they ran out of sauces! I suggest coming during lunch to be able to enjoy your tamales with sauce. I will definitely be coming again.

Oh I can't forget the potatoes salad and the beans... the Ben's had tomato's in them? They weren't made by him. My other co-worker went out and tried the German Shepherd hot dog combo and loved it as well. So with a little twisting of the arm, I went out and went to see what they had to offer. Apparently they have hamburgers as well, but I was there for the hot dog experience. They had a "chef's special" which is whatever the chef wants to make. My only request was to be light on the cheese. They in turn asked me if I wanted it spicy. Without a second thought, I immediately said yes! What I got was a pile and a tasty pile of a loaded hot dog with chips, chili, mac and cheese, and pickles topped with jalapenos and some spicy shiracha on top. It wasn't good, it was amazingly good. Being from NY I was asked how it fare against NY dogs, and I have to say, this was way better. I have to praise the chef there, he or she made a tasty loaded dog! Also I have to forget the fries as well, they had sour cream and onion seasoning that pairs excellent with their offerings, not just the special. Well done!

I peeped the sign and 'Unc' short for Uncle came to my window. He greeted me and was warm, friendly and told me that everything on his menu was outstanding. #Facts I settled on the Razzle Dazzle Dog that had a honey mustard and cranberry slaw topping. It was refreshing, satisfying and I had never had a salad topping on a hot dog before. Living in Texas over the last 6 years had cornered me into chili dogs and such, but the Razzle Dog was a tastier and much healthier option. It was served on an oversized bun and it was well worth the $6.00 price tag. By the time I had gotten home, a mere short 5 minutes... the Razzle Dog had been nearly consumed and I debated heading back for seconds. Since I had just finished my workout, I decided to let the fat girl in me sleep and posted the greatness to Instagram and Facebook. Capital City Ceviche - they make Hawaiian poke just like back home in Hawaii. Since moving to Texas, that was something we haven't been able to find that is good. But here.....OMG the best! 2. JW Seafood - specifically when in season, the fresh oysters are amazing! 3. Prairie's Prairies- they have quality French pastries and baked goods. We love their scones, croissants, and their puffs....oh yum! 4. Goodie Dumplings- They make them fresh on site or have frozen to take home. They have everything from veggie, chicken, beef, pork, and seafood! This are so good. It is usually a snack while we walk around and then we take some to go to add to our ramen at home. They add a lot of vendors throughout the year which is fun! They have craft items as well which we have even bought a few items from those booths as well. I needed a cold treat to cool me off after my hike. I did a quick Yelp and Google search to confirm I wasn't embarking on a nasty establishment. Both sites checked out with their high star ratings. Only 10 minutes from the state park, I was en route. Upon arriving, there was a long line for the drive-thru. It was already a scorcher outside, I just wasn't looking to be too much more in the heat bath; so I decided to wait in my vehicle in line to order. After 20 minutes of waiting, it was finally my turn. I ordered #54 (the most vegan snow cone with fruit and no cream/caramel); and a mangonada sorbet. After a few minutes, the sweets were out. Heaven on muthafu~~~ earth this place is delicious!! It hit the spot so hard that it placed me into a sweet tooth coma that I wanted to immediately sleep and not drive back to Houston. The amount of syrup saturates the ice. No dry spots. The mango sorbet has bits of mango with its sweetness. Each time I pass through Luling whether that's coming or going; I make sure to stop here! Ive ordered the coconut sorbet without cream or caramel, but with nuts and it's so divine. I tried the mangonada, the best I've ever had. I've brought Sneakers and they gave him a free small cup of ice with cream. He gobbled that right up! I've even brought my parents and they loved it! Daya's is locally owned and family operated; you can't go wrong! Every person who works here has been very kind and always get my orders right. The prices are extremely reasonable for the quantity you get. I will always give them business to keep them open. Give them a try today!!
