I want to start off saying this should be a 3.5. Staff extremely helpful. Place looked clean and bathrooms were clean. Prices are high for plain ice cream. I know they offer all the other fancy stuff... but your ice cream should stand on its own credibility before adding toppings. They were out of a few flavors at 730pm. The ice cream was ho hum, not memorable. I have been to places that rival PSU Creamery's ice cream and this one was no where near their level, but it was good and overly sweet. It was not a bad experience but for nearly $30 including tip, I threw half my milkshake away a little frustrated. My wife and kid were all smiles. read more

We used to love Maggie but she sold out to some conglomerate and the quality has suffered. Got a hot fudge sundae that used to have hot fudge but now it had chocolate syrup. And not enough. And can we talk about the plastic spoon? Ice cream is hard. A spoon should not bend like this POS did. Hard to eat. Can tell they save money buying these things. This place has some great ice cream. The flavors are rich and creamy as ice creams should be. But... above all flavors... my go to (and so should yours) should be the sweet cream. I like my ice cream pure as in I like the classic flavor of vanilla and chocolate. Sweet cream i feel like has the classic feel of a vanilla but a little more delicacy added to it. I'm not a sweet tooth by any means but i do enjoy a treat here and there. Sweet cream is not overwhelmingly sweet but is enough to give your tastebuds a ride. The place is small and compact; i would avoid the heavy traffic hours (Friday and Saturday nights) because the line can get really long. A very small seating inside the store so it's best to get it to go and enjoy your ice cream while browsing the places around (from the outside of course; please do not take ice cream inside retail stores) If you're in the area, go try! read more

This is the second time this week I've had Maggie Moo's and I have zero regrets. I can vouch for their fudge ice cream and the chocolate. The ice cream truck was a complete surprise and they accept credit cards which was awesome because I hardly ever have cash. At their store they mix in their toppings into the ice cream and serve it in a dish. You can call a head to the store or do take out. There are enough benches around and plenty of parking if you want to eat it there. read more

I was super excited when we were out in Exton/Dowingtown and I saw they had one of these. When I was younger, this was a popular ice cream chain near me. But, all of the ones near us seem to have closed and I honestly didn't even know they were still in business until we came across this one. I actually googled when we got home and this is the ONLY Maggie Moo's left in the United States after at one point having 400+ locations. How crazy. My friend that moved across the country still talks about how much she wants the very yelllow marshmallow ice cream. Anyway, the concept is very similar to Coldstone where they mix it over a cold stone with whatever toppings you want. I got the sweet cream ice cream with teddy grahams mixed in. It was delicious. My daughter got some type of sundae she loves with a blue Ice cream that I'm guessing just had food coloring. Prices were about what you'd expect. No issues. I hope this last Maggie Moos can stay in business. read more

Overall Poor Worker Cleanliness/Hygiene My fiancé got a milkshake from here a few days ago and said it was so good that we had to go back. I ordered some ice cream that was pretty tasty and he ordered a milkshake with a sugar and snickerdoodle cookie. When a girl worker was showing a male worker how to make a milkshake she grabbed the first cookie with plastic but the second cookie she proceeded to break up with her hand and wipe the crumbs on her apron. When my fiancé let the worker ringing us up know she asked the other worker if she touched the cookie with her hands and she said she was wearing a glove. Straight up just lied because she broke up the cookie right in front of us at the cash register. I was going to excuse the fact that they scoop ice cream with no gloves but this takes unsanitary to a whole other level. With that being said we did not get the milkshake. We will not be back but this is a warning to anyone else planning on visiting or ordering delivery for icecream/cookies (can only imagine what they do if you're not there watching them make it). The workers are young but that's no excuse - even I knew how to handle other people's food with gloves when I was a teenager. read more

Holy cow, I love this place!!! You get to choose your ice cream flavor, unlimited toppings, and watch them prepare your unique dessert creation on a marble slab! They have all kinds of waffle cones and bowls too! I went with a regular sized dark chocolate ice cream with lots and lots of brownie bites, pecans, chocolate chips, hot caramel, then topped with whipped cream and garnished with more of each topping! I had my best combination yet tonight! I ordered the birthday cake ice cream with vanilla cake pieces, sprinkles, and whipped topping in a waffle bowl. First, the quality of the ice cream here is 10/10! It's extremely fresh, silky smooth, and perfectly creamy. The topping choices are endless and abundant. My waffle bowl was so soft and had the best flavor! It wasn't hard or dry, like most waffle bowls in ice cream shops are. Secondly, the service here is fantastic. The girl who made my ice cream did a wonderful job. I manage an ice scream shop, so I know a good scooper when I see one! She put in lots of mix-ins and even topped my ice cream with more whipped topping and sprinkles. You can't get much better than that! It was a picture worthy sundae! Don't be fooled by the pics of huge cups of ice cream because in reality yours WILL NOT be as huge. As far as the ice cream it really wasn't anything special, just another Cold Stone under a different name. I asked for banana ice cream with caramel sauce and sliced bananas and I barely tasted the caramel nor dId I really see it. There was also peanut butter mixed in mine and I have no clue why. The crazy thing is I was sharing with my son and he's allergic to peanut butter so be careful. I don't see myself returning here agunless maybe it's convenient too. read more

I pulled up to the establishment at 3:35pm when they are open until 9pm . They had a sign on the door that they were open till 5pm due to upcoming weather and yet the door was still locked. The workers watched us as we pulled on both doors and did nothing to signify they were closed. So in the freezing cold we had to travel back to my car without our Ice cream wasting my cars fuel and having to drive to another place and wasting my precious time and physical energy.
